The video was loooong done before the abaddon bs was brought to the eve public attention. When we finally heard about it, we asked ccp if they would give us one since they "stole" our name...lol...to which they declined. But, again, we had made the corp well before the ship was introduced. Just look and see for yourself. Look up the character: Sylpha Dragoon and check her corp history. She is no longer active, but you can at least see the corp.
Heck, the corp was made even before the drakes came out...and shortly before the command ships came into being. We used the ferox because at that time it was one of the best, cheapest missile boats to use that had a tank to die for. It was around that time that people began to learn to fear the hybrid passive/active tank. Now the drake and myrm are evil using hybrid tanks compared to the old ferox. Dont listen to anyone....a passive/active shield tank on a myrm is ungodly powerful.
It was used because my corp mates chose the song. And if I was doing a video for them, it would make sense that i use something they want. But, it's your opinion. For my first video though for eve, it was met well on the O. Eve forums.
Btw, I bet your a real joy in Eve to be around...with your happy-go-lucky attitude..lol.

I like this vid, it shows what eve combat is really like. Not the glorified and shiny vids of fleet combat.

I never understood the reason why EVE players use "metal" music in the videos. As if it makes it "so cool", and "kick ass".
Totaly misses the point of the game....awful video.
