Get a good microphone like the rode videomic range and also, the sdxc card you got is good, that 128 gb one is good and if you get another one of those, it's gonna be awesome and you can go on world tours with those both cards
(1/7) This tip is great. Here is my advice. I'm as a hobby for over 6years now. I watch the video and Read the comments. 1st: yes you should by your extra lens most of the DSLR today have a kit Lens of 18mm-55mm that fine but I suggest you FIRST a telephoto zoom lens, having that Versatility zoom will be quite handy especially if you’re doing sports photography, On-field journalism photography, etc. 2nd: battery grip, i don’t think you should Put that on the top of your priority "TO BUY" list.
(2/7) But I suggest you get yourself first aBattery, you can change you battery every now and then. But if you’re looking for versatility onYour camera then you can go ahead and buy 1. 3rd: Flash Gun. A BIG YES! You should buy 1! I have 3 camera bags and each of it have a flash gun in stored just in case I transfer my camera but forgot to transfer my flash gun. I’m not saying that you should get 3 or more flash gun I’m just saying this to emphasize how important flash gun is. And note you should
(3/7) get a lot of extra batteries for these babies because flash guns eats a lot of battery life and it takes time to charge it. And yes you should get a diffuser (reasons on the video). 4th: tripods and monopods. Yes you should buy one. But take note there is a advantage and disadvantage of getting a light tripod, advantage of light tripod is you can carry it around the disadvantage of it is you will not get sturdiness like heavy tripod.
(4/7) Remember the heavier the tripod the more it sticks to the ground. Example: I like to do fireworks photography sometimes there is an international fireworks competition once a year here at our country I go there and take picture. So I take with me is my camera, a tripod, and a small sack of sand (I put it on a tripod to give it more weight). Why I have to put sack of sand on my tripod? It sticks more to the ground because sometimes the boom of the fireworks makes the camera shake and
(5/7) most of the time I do long exposure, 3-7sec exposure, more weight eliminates the camera shake, 5th: camera bag, having a camera bag is always good. I have 3 camera bags. One is a single camera bag it fits one camera w/ lens flash gun and some accessories. 2nd bag fits 1 camera w/ lens, 2 normal size lens, flash gun, and accessories. 3rd bag 2 camera bodies, 1 super telephoto lens, 4 normal size lens, tripod, laptop, accessories, etc.
(6/7) my camera bag I have serves different purposes. For example I’m going out for reunion dinner with my family so I’ll bring my first bag, then 2nd bag is for events fashion shows, cosplays, conventions, parties, concerts, happenings, etc. my 3rd bag is for out of town purposes or if I have a photo shoot. Regarding about the product wars going on the comment box, guys remember to take awesome picture it depends how you handle your camera not how the camera handles you,
(7/7) if your new with photography megapixel it only mean how large the camera will take your picture the processor inside your camera makes the quality of your picture. I started with Nikon camera and I switch to canon but if you give me any cams with manual mode I can still take same picture as my camera now.
@TheNerfy Sadly you are wrong. Yes Pentax did invent the SLR but Pentax is the underdog. MOst people buy Nikon or Canon but i believe PEntax is just as good. Plus you get more for your money with PEntax
Honestly no matter how good the systems are (or aren't) You make the difference. It bugs me when kids have $800 canons and make kissy faces for Myspace.
Good point, In the UK that same thing is the Canon 400D, with clean font. In America it's the super rad chillin X-T-I! It's all marketing. Kids have money and need to make kissy faces.
I have used both entry-level DSLR'S from both Nikon(D40) and Canon(400d) and have found the Nikon, always exposes the pictures correctly, writes faster to the card, interface is much easier to use, and is just more ergonomic.
...and yes. I do own the D40(not X, megapixels don't matter in the DSLR world from 6-10. It's all about the glass and sensor design)
Chris says, "I love getting these top 5 lists." I think, "These twitter comments are hilarious. " TEEHEE thumbs up if you noticed they say ftw a lot.
