  • Great video - kudos to you :)

  • Have you successfully picked a DVLA lock using a lock pick gun?

  • @FerribySinger Only used a lock pick gun once and never liked it and will never use one again.

  • Dont suppose your from stoke on trent :/ Could i remove a lock of that type with any home made picks?

  • i just think you're brilliant, your attitude, everything! i'm working with a paper clip and one half of a tweezer from a penknife. i've practiced for AGES on a little padlock i've got but have only managed to open it 7 times. the clampers wouldn't even answer the phone to me, its been days now so its laughable to think i'll ever get MY CAR back through them! its doing my head in walking out of my house seeing my car like that every day...

  • i wish you'd come and liberate my car! i think you're brilliant. its exactly like you say, ransom. i've got a sorn for the car and was just about to get it taxed as was starting a job, now i wont have car or job. jobs in middle of nowhere, no buses. am going to try and do something about this now though havn't got a set of picks. you're AMAZING!

  • id use latex gloves when removing locks to hide your fingerprints.... they might be taking note if you are costing them too much... disgusting state of affairs how society ends up fleecing everyday people just struggling to get by... but real criminals..burglers/petty thieve's just get minor fine and told aww... dont do it again..

  • I meant to ask you how long it took you to develop your skills. Thanks for posting, really interesting.

  • @stillbashingmetal I've played with locks for years to be honest so couldn't really gauge it to be honest. I'd say it took about 20 seconds to master that lock though.

  • Great to watch you doing this. When the tension bar is in, are you raking the internal pins until the lock releases or are you feeling for individual pins inside the mechanism? Thanks, interesting stuff.

  • @stillbashingmetal I'm simply raking the pins and adjusting the tension till the lock gives.

  • Can't you just drill a hole right in the lock? or is that just as hard?

  • mate thats fucking jokes

  • Fantastic work that mate, great video

  • @BRIGHTONMAFIA Thanks :-)

  • Just normal pins no spools? serated? Mushrooms????

  • Makes it look so easy... Got clamped today what a pain 80.00 quid !

  • it looks good to people who know nothing about lovks but all you are really doind is making the dvla upgrade all the padlocks

  • holy crap how long you been in the trade

  • @harveydog2006 I'm not in the trade mate, self taught.

  • This video makes me wonder about the security of a lock! lol...is there one that cannot be picked?

p.s. Is it better to drive an old banger that's worth 50 quid??...let them keep it if they clamp it lol

  • Bolt cutter can cut the chain even easier.

  • '

a bolt cutter can cut off this locker

  • @bestamerica I'd love to see a bolt cutter that you could easily carry around cut the barrel in that lock.

  • @PanicAcid True, but you don't have to carry it around, just put it in the trunk. Chances are that your car and the clamp will be in the same place :o).

But what about, freezing the lock and smashing it with a hammer? Would that work on hardened steel as well?

  • @Usethebanana What? This isn't Fast & Furious mate the idea here is not committing a criminal offence. Its also stupid to carry around a huge heavy bolt cutter in your boot adding to your fuel consumption etc. when you could just carry a couple of lightweight picks. - Think about it.

  • @PanicAcid Well of course it is, you're kicking in an open door. And I'm not talking about actually using bolt cutters. I'm just argumenting for the sake of discussion. "carrying around bolt cutters is too heavy" => "put em in the trunk if you really want to go this way".

And out of curiosity I was wondering if freezing + hammer would work on hardened steel.

I'm not planning a criminal offence, I live in Belgium where we luckily don't have clampers. Easy to get a ticket though :o).

  • GMpresents all you havecto do is slide a thin tension wrench under the shackle and it will pull out

  • they are very easy to take apart if you like i will send a vid

  • They are easy to take apart i can send a vid if you like

  • they can only be striped when they are open if you remove the shackle there is a grub screw under it. but i wont release untaxed cars as most are not insured or mot'd so should not be on the road

  • @paultoms29 how do you remove the shackle?

  • Love it! I've never been clamped myself, but I abhor the practice.

  • Cheers for the informative vid, big thumps up!!!!!

  • The only reason that the clampers can take your Car is because you are not the owner but the registered keeper. If it was yours it would be theft in common law. When you filled in your log book you gave D.V.L.A. your car so they are just punishing you for not doing as you are told. If it was your car you would not even have to pay tax. Great vid though m8, keep up the good work. Iv got to get me some of those lock picks.

  • @tarquinfetherfope very true, i learned it hard way, as soon as i registered it got log but, shit hit the fan

  • Damn thats some good skills with lockpicking.. You've inspired me to get a set of picks and learn a new skill.. Im gonna be REAL popular at college once I get that good. :D

  • panicacid the locks are not sealed units and they are very easy to strip and clean or even to file a new key which makes removing them even quicker

  • @paultoms29 said "the locks are not sealed units"

How would you disassemble the lock then?

  • panicacid the locks are not sealed units and they are very easy to strip and clean or even to file a new key which makes removing them even quicker

  • well done

  • Awesome picking mate, that set looks like the slimline southord set plus some of the picks from the goso set. Nice to see some skill not chopping with grinders.

  • if your daft enough to get a clamp then ya usually doing something wrong- stop parking in the wrong place, leaving ya untaxed car in the road and other stupid stuff and it wont happen (more than once anyway). i got clamped once, never happened since cos i think twice- agreed sometimes they are mallicious but generally theyre just keeping the road free of untaxed and illegally parked cars

  • @mr420B said "generally theyre just keeping the road free of untaxed and illegally parked cars"

Clamper's hold your property to ransom, then kidnap that property if you don't pay their extortionate fees. They restrict your right to travel freely and punish you without trial. That's called criminal behaviour in my books. Plus, who has the right to demand tax or place restrictions upon you when you're causing absolutely no harm to anyone? Clamper's do nothing but annoy others.

  • @GMPresents I hear what ya saying, and I think its jokes that they can fine so much for a victimless crime- bu at the end of the day, if your in town/ a crowded car park/ or even residential parking and someone has been there for hours, or even days/ weeks over the time limit then you would be pissed and probably want someone to move it! honestly, I hate the bastards to but ya jus gotta live with it until theres proper regulations for them!

  • @mr420B said "if your in town/ a crowded car park/ or even residential parking"

Clamper's, or any other parking enforcers for that matter, do not reduce the number or parked cars within a given area by a significant amount - that's just spin. The reason we have overcrowding is because there are more people with cars nowadays, and no matter how many rules, regulations and punishments you apply (not including the death penalty) the problem will continue to get worse until the oil runs dry.

  • @GMPresents no, they reduce the amount of cars who take the piss parking there- im not arguing FOR them, and i understand that a majority are little paracites- but without parking restrictions there would be no parking, and without clamps, people wouldnt think twice if they just got a small fine- a I said, I got clamped and it cost a shitload- but now when im in that carpark i dont take the piss!

  • @mr420B said "people wouldnt think twice if they just got a small fine"

Yet if you're going to employ parking restrictions of any kind then a ticket that could be challenged in court (with the PROPER due process) would be the fairest solution. Clamping is draconian, it is punishment of one person by another, and no matter how beneficial the results are for the land owner, it is ethically wrong. They want the car off the land right? Then why make it more difficult to move? Case closed.

  • @GMPresents said: ''no matter how beneficial the results are for the land owner, it is ethically wrong''

on that note we can get rid of other petty laws or even border control, and what about the fact we have an army who spend more time abroad on the offensive than defending, courtesy of the tax payer or even the fact we are driving cars at all- manufactured using un sustainable materials, and run on damaging, unsustainable fuel.... fact is nothing we do these days is actually ethical!

  • @mr420B said "fact is nothing we do these days is actually ethical"

That is and will in the future be humanities great shame. Where did it all go wrong?

On a positive note, I've entered into a life of civil disobedience and feel much more alive than I ever did. Would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to regain their independence and slow down the despots that are directing humanity towards self-destruction.

    Peace and ducking.

  • Best way to beat these thieves is to simply tax your car then we dont give them the pleasure of hunting down our vehicles. There b'stards and will look everywere to find a untaxed car even on private land and if it aint sorned they will clamp it, so dont think it's safe. They cant clamp a car for the first 28 days after the tax expires but collate pics when they see one expired and go back after the 28th and clamp it. If it's not taxed then it's not safe unless it's sorned and on private land.

  • Thank you kindly PanicAcid I appriciate your video so much. Could you explain a little more about returning the lock regarding the legal aspects as you see them please, if you dont mind doing so? A quick reply or PM will suffice :).

    Peace.

  • i think it would be a good idea ,if you could spray some WD40 ,into the lock ,to try and loosen it a bit , before trying it what ya think mate ,good luck:)

  • @kevrs2 said "spray some WD40 into the lock"

WD40 will eventually gunge up the lock. Instead, load a small amount of graphite filings into the keyway. Just rub a pencil on some sandpaper, fold the paper in two, then let the filings drop into the lock. Shake the lock a little then voila!

  • how can i learn to open locks....thats a real cool skill to know. . i wanna learn that skill....POWER TO THE PEOPLE .

  • The problem is that it is theft, they are owed the fines, the clamp is just a means to collect, by illegally removing it your in effect stealing the fine from them.

  • @BodyPiercingByGlock Couldn't be more wrong, you have to pay the fine even if you remove the clamp, what you don't have to pay is the clamp removal fee of £250 ontop of your fine, also it is not illegal to remove a clamp, unless it was fitted under warrants issued by a court of law, dvla clamps are not fitted under warrants. Please people do your research before posting uninformed uneducated bollocks misinforming people on my videos.

  • @PanicAcid if you hand over your details/name and adress its then deemed a civil matter and the clamp company then need to pay to take you to court, then just like council tax and parking fines you can wave them the finger and not pay a penny, the bailiffs may turn up ,if you let them into your house then more fool you.

  • @PanicAcid, not sure what they do over there but here that would qualify as "Breaking or Entering", which is a felony. The funny part is that your just pushing yourself back into tow trucks and impound fees, which are far more expensive, enjoy that.

  • @BodyPiercingByGlock

I gather you are talking about the 'american dictatorship'?

There is alot you cannot do.. get used to it or emigrate, skip canada, they handed their asses along with their sovereignty over long ago!

Over here it is called 'fuck the clampers'

  • @jaylc005, Guess they should go back to towing then.

  • @PanicAcid

Nope, you just remove it and act dumb.

Done it 3 times. They never try to take you t court, End off.

  • @SCD4 Not true, this is why I'm currently waiting for Crime Prosecution to get back to me with regards to charges of Going Equipped, Obstruction of Justice and Theft!?!!! So no, what you "Believe" to be correct isn't.

  • @PanicAcid

I said what I have done not BELIEVE.

The clamp was not there when I went to my car..simple. lol

Its not theft because I never saw it.

  • @PanicAcid said "why I'm currently waiting for Crime Prosecution to get back to me"

How is that going anyway? Please keep YT informed as it will be useful info I'm sure.

Going Equipped: a problem faced by all people carrying lockpicks I've read, even professional locksmiths!

Obstruction of Justice: can't see how that could be made to stick.

Theft: only if you removed the item from the area.

  • @GMPresents Update on this one for you mate, I'm still disputing it however the police have admitted that I haven't broken any "Laws" however I am in breach of a couple of "Statutes" although it's been longer than 6 months since the alleged offences therefore it's Statute Barred and nothing can be done, but I'm arguing that even if it was within 6 months I'd still face no charges, currently waiting for my MP to get back to me with some elaborations on some acts, keep you posted.

  • @PanicAcid thanks for the update. By statutes you mean government legistlation which is claimed to be 'law' but which is only a rule of society given the force of law by our tacit consent? Either way it sounds like you're making headway, especially if the police don't seem to be overly concerned with the matter, and why should they: what's wrong with people freeing their property from material kidnappers! Keep us posted chap, this is inspiring stuff.

  • @PanicAcid Love this video!!! How would they know who to send the "fine" to after you had removed the clamp?

  • @BodyPiercingByGlock in other words FUCK OFF

  • @BodyPiercingByGlock it is not stealing, it's taking without asking

  • Did you used to be a clamper?

  • @briggles No mate not even a lock smith.

  • Always make sure to keep the lock open, just to piss off the clamper's that little bit more.

  • @gingatim I have to lock the clamps to something safe, if they go missing it's my fault. So I always lock them to a lamp post etc.

  • There is one major problem with this in that the DVLA also will see this video on utube and being a government body order modified or use different locks for this.

Very interesting though in principal about locksmith techniques to remove padlocks on wheelclamps.

Where do you get the picks and learn how to use them?

  • @RickyBonar The internet is a font of knowledge, using it to it's potential is access to unlimited amounts of free information.

Also even if they did change the locks, a method to beat those locks would be devised long before it became a problem. If some one can engineer something, we can reverse engineer it.

Also the DVLA can watch this video, I did nothing illegal in removing that clamp.

  • Comment removed

  • @PanicAcid OK I'm not meaning to be hostile in fact I'm very impressed in particular as most wheel clamps are fitted by private thug operators. Where do you get the picks and learn the picking techniques. It could save me a few quid sometime as I have had a clamp in the past and the law states you have to recompense the clamper if you damage their clamp by the more common cordless angle grinding (my current method) or sledgehammering and oxy acetylene cutting techniques.

  • Excellent. How did you learn to do that?

  • @mirabilo You're on Youtube try searching "How to pick locks" see what comes up maybe?

  • topman!

  • lol nice, i paid £260 this wk to the dvla to get a clamp off :(

  • great!!!!!

  • @benlowreyhimself Cheers Ben, been a BIG BIG fan of your guitar lessons for a long time now(purchased loads) , nice to know you're now a fan of one of my videos!!

  • This is hilarious xD I never would have believed it was this easy to attack these locks people put so much faith in

  • thanks for posting mate

  • Great Video, thanks very much, I just invested in a southord kit

  • @MrCoogande I have aswell.

  • sweet lock man , 5s

  • Dude......its Jbob. Too much rambling and you need me to film in future. Keep em short n sweet with just enough info to do the job. Not knocking your skills or your sexy voice but keep it simple.

Next one we find we do together. Yes?
