  • they all quality mixers theres no doubt about that but so many here goin with a&h yet out the 3 when the effects were being demmo'd the a&h was the only one i couldnt hear any difference/change/effect dunno if this had to do with track choice but sounded the worst one to me (n ive used pio and ah brands out in pubs etc and tbh pio had better sound qual) which leaves pio + den which on functionality den slightly up but at £300 upwards more i would expect this so takes me bk to pio club std 4reaso

  • the judges are blind they dont know whats a good mixer just because pioneer are popular they vote for it,they have 2 see more on the denon 1700

  • Xone 92 was way better then Pioneer, tought xone was going to win :)

  • Which song was played during Pioneer's presentation????

  • what is the song name when they using xone?

  • No one ever likes the new kid i guess.

  • pioneer for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont know whats worse the fact that most of the judges work for pioneer aka popularity contest or the fact that they are just sitting there looking bored while A.R.J talks through the xone.

Im sorry ive used all of the mixers and its xone for me any day of the week thats why I own them!!

  • what was the first song the allen&heth guy was playing?

  • @tijeffery509 Wolgang Gartner & Francis Preve - Yin

  • yeah i don't know about you guys but the xone 92 is my favorite

  • for me i like the xone is the best

  • give me the old djm 600 please ha

  • I would take the denon!

  • this is all set up! i think they should make each judge actually play on each one with someone to assist them with knowledge and capabilities of the product. of course pioneer is everywhere because its digital and everyone uses cdj's because they cant afford the music on record so they pirate it. and they also have Mr. Zabeila which pioneer sponsors the show anyways. and all the idiots will now go and buy a pioneer over a denon because of this right here. the pioneer offers effects whoooh whoo!

  • What a load of bollox... the Denon blows the other 2 out of the water with its functionallity alone... the judges ahve obviously never used it and don't want their sponsors to get the hump i.e pioneer.... the denon and the A & H both rock as hard and have more features... pioneer is last for me i'm arfaid and i have no questions...lol

  • ill take the 92 anyday thank you very much

  • im wondering whats the software the dj on the xone is using?

  • @Trad3st0rm Ableton Live

  • sorry pio pisses me off, i dean i hhave the 1600 its genious you can do everything on them everything, and just because the are everywere realllly? how is thhat going forewards if so eting is good because everyone has it, really wtf

  • ''Yeah...Yeah...and i'm gona go with the Pioneer cause i've seen it everywhere''....What a bunch of retards ... of course the Denon is the ''Ultimate Club Mixer'' but who's gona argue them!?

  • Al three are good

  • the voting it impartial some of these djs (james z) are sponsored by pioneer weak

  • xone 92.

  • what is the track name of the first song playing while the pioneer rep is speaking?

  • @rdcougar99 Pryda - Alfon

  • A&H era la justa ganadora.

  • kutskis the man

  • would love to know the track names :O

  • i say the Denon 1700X

  • Bring new shit to the table or shut up!

    This is OLD!

DJM 800 was good on releaseday! but tends to get BORING!

X92 has good filter, but sounds awful if you not using REAL analog signals (turntables)

Rane MP 2016S Rotary Mixer is the only real clubmixer!

BUT! I'll put my money on the Denon DNX 1700

  • stupid ass pussy's...because there are most pio djm 800 and they use them selves they choose for the pio...this aint an objective look..

  • They've said it themselves.. which mixer THEY THINK is best..

Pick one for yourself.. it's always a personal choice.. you can't say THIS is the perfect one.. if you can't work with it, how can it ever be perfect.

  • @driven90 ofcourse but this is an awards movie...if you are in jury you must have tried out al products and you can only rate a product on its features, feel, build quality, sound quality etc. but not on how popular it is in clubs and how you much you like to use it.

  • Oh, since when is that a written rule? And why not take its popularity in consideration?

Ofcourse you can say this one is built best, or this one has a better sound quality.. but you can take one and say this is the ultimate one. It's like voting for the ultimate DJ.. You like DJ x best for his productions, but Dj z for his remixes..

Pio has a lot of nice effects on his 800, but A&H has better looks and sound quality for example.. diff categories, diff ultimates..

  • @driven90 i dont say it is a written rule..it is just my opinion...i think the denon x1700 for example is a better mixer..and time will tell..it has better faders, is built more solid, has beter sound quality, its midi works better and the effects are better...

  • The Denon X1700 would be a much better mixer if Denon hadn't locked down 4 of the inputs to phono (deck) only.

Despite it having lots of inputs, there are only 4 line ins. The 4 deck inputs cannot be switched to line, like the X1500 etc.

Denon claim they did this because fitting a switch would affect the quality.

If that's the case, why have they fitted four multi way matrix switches? :-)

  • DJplush, I agree. There are plenty of clubs using A&H mixers as well.

Pioneer kit doesn't get installed in clubs because it sounds the best, but because it's easy to use (dumb mode as one judge put it) or because that's what the installer offered them.

Pioneer give so much kit away to "top DJs" or "top clubs" then market it by saying "This DJ or that club uses Pioneer, it's an industry standard".

  • The DJM 800 is not bad, but far from perfect though. Every other company laughs at the DJM 800's build quality and faders.

  • Fucking boo, dj mag. The presentation was poor and the judging was not objective at all. how can you have a judging panel with someone on it who works for one of the brands been judged? very poor indeed.

  • James was the only objective judge though. At least he voted for the 92

  • I have the Xone 92 in connection with a Kaoss Pad 3, and I must say the rocking part. Get me but now get the Black Xone because it pleases me better.

  • boooo.

A&H, denon is two electro only...

but if ECLER was there the evo 5 would have destroyed them all!

  • hell yeah! Evo 5 is the ultimate mixer.

  • I have a DJM 400 but A&H are the best mixers i think

  • Shit It wloud be ultimate if I had it :)

  • how can they say the Pioneer is the best because you find it in all the clubs?.......There are more Fords on the roads than Porches but you'd hardly say it was a better car

  • haha well said

  • @hoostra theres also more Mercedes and Lexus and Cadillac than porches, dont compare the pioneer to a ford thats more of Numark ...

  • @hoostra if i said yes u find more fords on the road than porches, but u find more porches in hugh heffnors garage than u do fords, will u now go n stick 20 quids worth of petrol and a gallon of oil in yer xone 92 n park it outside sainsburys please? :D

  • first time I've seen the 'new' black xone 92.......from a purely shallow point of view it looks bloody nice

  • I think they're all great mixers. The Denon would be a great bit of kit to play with but as far as a club mixer goes you do want something simple when you turn up to play at a new club. I reckon the A+H has better sound quality and possibly slightly better build quality than the Pioneer. The Pioneer has all those effects and is just so firmiliar.

  • I have to vote A&H on this one they are built like bricks mine has never let me down! :-)n.

  • Is this a TECH award or popularity?!? Why the hell i voited for my favorites online, if these "judges" decides who wins anyway!?

  • @DJJayStoneMusic This is just BS mate. Doesn't mean anything. Even some half-DJ could tell that the Denon's a better piece and is the clear winner.. but Pioneer pays them a lot to do this and they also have Mr Zabeila on the panel who features for Pioneer Pro DJ himself... how fair...!?

  • Don't get me wrong though, I love the 800, but this just isn't fair. They don't even touch the try the Denon (the Pio & the A&H are pretty old and don't need to be tried, everyone knows those two mixers) and decide the ultimate one! Why did they feature a new mixer if it was about the most popular one or the proven one???

  • Although I have never played on te A&H, and Iown a DJM-800, I didn't see anything on the A&H that popped out and made me say. "Wow" I think the DJM rightfully won. The only thing I see on the A&H that I liked more than the pioneer was th 4 Ban EQ.

  • lame...A & H is a beast and should have won...djm 800 is an over glorified bedroom mixer

  • Djm 800 is such a great machine but allen and heath are the true true legends in high quality sound

  • That is absolutely ridiculous.

They have voted BECAUSE they already use them and haven't used the others yet.

The Award should have been judged by a number of DJs using ballot poll.

  • thats so true man, 3/4 of them chose the pioneer cos it was the most standardized across the world, no disrespect to the 800 i still think the 800 is amazing but the voting was bs.

  • Oh come on ! stop teasing me with such awesome equipment :p
