One of the captions is wrong. 'Johnny' doesn't refer to Profumo, but to Johnny Edgecombe. It wasn't Profumo who had the gun !

I just recently read her biography "Dancing With Demons."
Apparently, she had spent the previous 15 years in Los Angeles dealing with addiction and severe depression. This song was part her successful come-back with the Pet Shop Boys after appearing on their song "What Have I Done to Deserve This?"
By the time she appeared on this show, she was finally clean and sober and happy to be back in the UK.

@jasonsbrain2 yes, and I'm good friends with a woman whom she spent alot of that time in L.A. with. She's shown me pictures of them together and told me about her. I also have to say that it's amazing that Dusty can sing a song live and it sounds just as good as the studio version. Very few singers can do that.
