  • Too late! :)

  • Five fun facts about me:

    1) I love the color blue (Cyan, to be more specific)

    2) I am a young, sweet and cute-looking guy

    3) I love playing and putting up videos of obscure Japanese video game titles that I do also own.

    4) Gohan is my real name when my Chinese name is translated into Japanese.

    5) Ie, chugoku-jin dewa arimasen. Watashi wa kazin desu. (Wo bu shi zhong guo ren. Wo shi hai wai de hua ren.)

Okay, that's all folks. Have a nice day ~_^

  • Cool facts!

  • Thanks! Wonderful video you have here too!

  • Thank you! :)

  • You're such an all american young man :) That's why I love ya. Nothing wrong with trailers one of my favorite homes ever was a trailer :)

  • Thank you!

And no..there's nothing wrong with a trailer at all. I think it's always gotten a bad rap!

  • I love pigs, they make great bacon, ham and pork rinds!!LOL

Love ya red sexy hair and the gruffy beard!!

Gary we always have room here in studsville for ya, if you want to visit!!

  • Mmmmm....bacon.

Apparently, your standards must be quite low then in Studsville! LOL

  • No we just have the hots for ginger/red heads, as they are great lovers!!

  • No comment! LOL

  • Why did you find pigs nasty? Because they smell. or because of their temperament? I am still catching up - and am glad I heard your five facts. I hope the tag is soon over! - roc

  • I didn't like the pigs for both reasons you mentioned -- they were very mean, and very smelly! (The nastiest smelling animal on the farm)

  • Really fascinating to hear what you had to say about your early years. Love the black hat by the way, cheers, Lesley

  • I think we all probably have very interesting back stories if we just stop and think.

    Cheers! :)

  • Nice facts to know. Thanks! :)

  • You are very welcome! :)

  • It was beautiful there on New Years day! My mother has red hair. Well, had... it's white now. You have a huge family. How wonderful for you. :) Great video and random facts. I love these. You learn so much about people.

    Have a great New Year!

Sending love & smiles from afar!

    (((Hugs))) to you & yours...

    Paula

  • Beautiful but VERY cold! (Single digits!)

My grandfather always had red hair, and the last few years of his life, the color faded out of it as well!

  • I'm originally from Ohio, so I remember single digits and below freezing temperature's too. I don't miss the cold, but there's nothing prettier on Christmas day, than all that beautiful snow. That's what I miss. :)

    Have a great New Year!

    (((Hugs))) to you & yours...

    Paula

  • I've actually made a decision when i graduated from college that if i was going to pursue my career in Wisconsin, which is where I'm from and grew up, that I would never complain about the cold weather! The only thing i hate about winters here is driving in the snow during rush hour! :)

  • I don't blame you one bit. Richie and I thought about relocating to Ohio. But, with his business being here, it would be really hard for us. I guess we are pretty much stuck in Florida. Neither of us truly care for it here. Maybe when he retires, we'll move. LOL! :) By that time, we'll be so old, we'll need to be in Florida. LOL! :)

Have a great 08' and a wonderful day!

    (((Hugs))) to you & yours...

    Paula

  • Funny how life takes us to places unexpected....

Happy 2008 to you as well! :)

  • I'm so jealous of the snow you've got down there!

  • And it just keeps snowing and snowing! :)

  • Wow who knew our video savy Gary was from down on the farm? lol, great video, it's always good to learn a little more about your back story.

  • Yup! Thanks man!

And hey--happy belated birthday!! It completely skipped my mind. I hope you had a great day! :)

  • Thanks, I enjoyed myself, and I have a video to prove it, lol.

  • SWEET!

  • I like this! It is a neat way for a new subscriber to learn more about you! I lived in a trailer too, in fact, my mom still lives in a double wide, although we call it a mobile home or manufactured home. :)

  • It's actually a good way for our old subscribers to learn a thing or two about each other as well! :)

  • very true, good point. I just see things from the point of a newbie right now! hehe :)

  • Ha ha! Well, welcome to YouTube! About a year ago, i was a newbie too! :)

  • Thanks! I guess everyone is a newbie at some point. I have "met" a lot of nice people so far! :)

  • Oh yes..and you'd be amazed how cool people end up being and the friendships you're going to make! :)

  • It sure looks like a lot of fun, I'm really looking forward to it. I enjoyed all your facts. I would have had a hard time coming up with 5 things about myself.....although nobody knows anything about me here so I guess I would have a lot! LOL

  • A year ago when i first started, i did a video of 51 Random facts about me. I think i cheated and used some of those for this video! LOL

  • Oh my goodness! I would really have a hard time coming up with 51 things! I'm afraid I'm kind of boring! I have only made one video and it was just pictures of my puppy. I am watching sales and hoping to get a camera that I can make videos with, although I confess I am very camera shy!

  • It takes a lot of time and practice to get in front of that camera! :)

  • Absolutely, up until now I've run from cameras! So, if I get a camera and get up the nerve to make a video it will be a huge thing for me! When I was a kid I was a ham, not sure what happened. *shrug*

  • LOL

I'm a photographer as part of my job, and trust me, I'm more comfy behind the lens too! :)

  • I'm much more comfy behind the keyboard hiding behind words I think, hehe :)

  • LOL!

Well, those of us who make videos NEED those of you who comment and watch! LOL

  • Well, it is good to know I serve a purpose around here! LOL

  • LOL!

  • You look very comfortable in front of the camera. Just wait, my first video will feature me with the deer in the headlights look! *shudder* I'm cringing already!

  • For about 2 or 3 years before YouTube, i was doing private video diaries in front of my video camera...So I got a lot of practice back then! :)

  • Oh lucky you! That would be like Chinese water torture to me! And yes, I know it sounds like I don't want to do any vlogging, but I really do want to push my limits and overcome my camera shyness. Although, maybe at first I'll just do videos of Bella, she's much more interesting and not camera shy! LOL

  • Trust me, every video I make i feel like I'm pushing some new limit for myself. In the video on this page, as i was outside in front of the river, talking to my camera, a young couple walked by! I forced myself to keep going, despite how stupid I felt! I need to suffer for my art! :)

  • LOL Suffer for my art!!!! Oh man, that would be hard to keep talking, I would probably turn red!

  • Well, it was about 7 degrees out when i made that video, so my face was already red! LOL

  • ROFL! Good point! Touchet!

  • :-)

  • 22 cousins, including yourself... You're your own cousin? How does that work? ;^)

    Thanks for the glimpse inside!

  • I mentioned that i'm from a trailer I'm also my own nephew! :)

  • Very interesting video and beautiful scenery. I have always dreamed of going to Ireland.

Must be nice to be tagged so many times - no one has tagged me yet...:(

  • From the looks of my sub page, just about everybody got tagged! Consider yourself lucky if you didn't! LOL

  • Make that three times. I located your channel via Bozettetc.

    Happy tubing.

    Spot was here.

    =)

  • Ha ha!

  • Wonderful vlog .. I enjoyed learning about you. It's interesting, the things in our lives that make us who we are. Your trip to Ireland must have been wonderful!

  • Thank you very much!

The trip to Ireland was one of the most amazing things I've ever done! I hope to get back there some day... :)

    Happy New Year!

  • Thanks! I hope you have a Happy New Year too!

  • You're welcome! :)

  • great facts about you, G! These videos are great to get to know eachother! I got tagged bt Ran, so im making one of these too! ;D

  • Awesome!! And btw, I meant to email you about your package, which I got the day after Christmas! Thank you so much!! I plan on doing a video with some final thank yous to ppl, but I wanted to let you know i got it and that i loved it! Especially the book! :)

  • Ah, it is great to know you got it close to Christmas and liked it! :) Ill be looking foward to your video ;)

  • I sent you an email... :)

  • Man we got a lot of bang for our buck on this one Gary! Thanks for sharing such intimate details of your life. You're weaving quite a tapestry my friend.

    Lesley xox

  • Thank you Lesley..That's a huge compliment! I've never thought of it that way....

    Happy New Year!

    xoxoxo

  • i can't imagine how would it be to live in a trailer...

  • It was home at the time...we didn't think any thing of it! :)

  • I'm not sure whether to say thanks, or oh sh*t!!

Good vlog, again, Gary. Your park looks really good in the snow, but it sure looked cold there.

Off to try & think of some random facts, hmmm :)

  • That's what I thought when Curt tagged me too. I thought, "How can I do this as creatively as Curt!?" But then when Michael also tagged me, and i saw him doing it out in the streets of Germany, I thought to myself, AH...another Park Vlog!

And yes. It was VERY cold! Barely above 0!

  • Very cool video.

  • Thank you! :)

  • wow that was like 5 vlogs for the price of one! I'd better get my thinking hat on and think of my 5 and also see 'if' I can pull this off as a text response (maybe with some approproate images)...

  • It's always a bargain when you watch my videos! And 100% NEW footage no less! ;)

  • yep, I've had a think about how I can present the video with just text (and a few choice images) and still make it interesting, will hopefully get it done tomorrow night

  • I have a feeling that you're up for the challenge! :)

  • Cool. I grew up on a farm too. And my nephew is 'strawberry blond' ;^) - much to our surprise :)

  • I don't advertise this, but I consider myself a strawberry blonde as well! :)

  • HEY GUYS! GARY CONSIDERS HIMSELF A STRAWBERRY BLOND! Hahaha!

    *Runs and hides*

  • LIsten here farm boy! LOL

    Now SHHHHH! :P

  • I got tagged Sunday, and need to get this done today before all my tagees are taken! You have had an interesting life so far.

  • My entire sub page seems to be with this tag now! LOL

  • ...oh yeah, Happy 2008!...

  • Yes! Same to you! Happy New Year! :)

  • I like your "Park" vlogs...

  • Thank you! :)

  • cool facts and whoa your family is huge lol.

  • Thanks man!

  • Yay! I wanted to applaud at the end!

A VERY interesting upbringing. I bet it taught you some ethics & life lessons that guide you to this day. I also bet you don't have too many allergies after all those animals!

Thankyou so much for a great response!

  • Oh, and outside vlogs ftw!

If your TJ bachelor party was anything like the one I went to at the 'Blue Iguana' in Mexico City, I'm too frightened to ask!

  • The TJ bachelor party shall be saved for a Skype discussion some night! LOL

And i have to admit, originally i was tagged by OhCurt...but after you tagged me, that's what inspired me to do another outside vlog! :)

  • LOL! Glad to be inspiring!

I claim shenanigans on the part of the YT uploader - it took just under 24 hours to get a clean upload!

Most of my recent stuff has been walking around talking to a camera. I'm quite enjoying it. Now to upload some videos!

  • Way to go! I've been running into some upload problems too..but nothing like that!

And I say Hurrah for the walking around vlogs! To me, a vlog can be so much more than just behind a desk talking to a webcam. I'm guilty of it too, but love shaking things up! :)

  • Excellent five facts :)

  • Thanks!

  • Was it hard for you to think of your five? I had some difficulty.

  • Initially it was...but once I got into the groove of my childhood and some of the things that y'all don't know about, it wasn't so bad. One of the first vids i did for YT last year was something like "51 Random Facts About Me"....So i tried not to copy those! :)

  • My first video ever was 10 Random Facts About Me. And since then I share crap about me every day, so it was very hard!

  • Exactly!

  • I grew up raising animals too, Gary. The red heads in our family are all female except one male cousin. He was a surprise to us all too. I'm feeling inspired to get outside for a video. Gary. I got something just in mind to show you.

  • Glad I inspired you Darl! I just got done watching your video. I think you guys up there have even more snow than we do here! :)

  • I grew up in the trailers too man!

My nephew is 25 now, so I totally relate.

  • We are BOTH trailer park! LOL

  • -chineese voice-

    What??

    You no tag me?

    I hate you!

    I pee in your soup!

Me Chineese, me play joke! Me go pee pee in your Coke!

    Just kidding. BOW BITCHES!

  • Pee in my Coke is better than poop in my ice cream bowl! :)

  • Ackie-poo.

  • I do believe you started it! :)

  • Yeah I guess you're right.

  • FTW! :)

  • have always been jealous for you people who got to spend a lot of time on farms growing up...

    you should vlog about that

  • I have to tell you, it was SO much work. I was always working. But I don't regret those days at all...that's just how life was! :)

  • "Country before country was cool"

you mean country is cool now???

Should I get my stetson hat?

great facts gary, and in true gary style hehe.

  • Country is VERY cool! LOL That's actually a title from an old Barabara Mandrell song which my family's band used to perform....it seemed quite fitting for the subject matter! Just a subtle homage only i would get! :)

  • When I was younger I had red hair, I think one of my grandpas had it too and noone else in the family, look at that, we have something in common. I also grew up on a farm.

  • Very cool Beau! It's a shame it had to change from its glorious original state! :)

  • well I was no ginger, it was dark hair :P but I got bugged for it all the same, yeah I like when I get it cut short because I can still see some red when its short.

  • Well, then it looks best short! ;)

  • ROFL! "hands deep in places they shouldn't have been"...alrighty then! I come from a small family of blonds and redheads and my brown eyes and hair were the surprise.

  • Yes, it's interesting to see where we've all come from. And it's rare that you have a family full of light complected people like that! Cool!

  • LOL Tag you're it, huh? Totally awesome random facts. I grew up in a trailer too, until 5th grade and then when I finally was able to get a home of my own it was a trailer, lived in it for 15 years. Sometimes I wish I would go back to that lifestyle, simple and less expensive. lol

  • Yes! It really was a good way for my parents to get a good start.

And Happy New Year, btw! :)

  • Oh yeah a great way! 10 years ago my rent on my lot as 110.00 no other payments but utilities, not so bad. lol

Happy New Year to you too!

  • Thx!

  • I really miss the snow here in Fl

  • It's currently 7 degrees here. Would you like some of the cold too? :)

  • Thank you for sharing such a awesome history of your family and your life! The snow looks so soft and beautiful! It's 50 degrees here by the Gulf of Mexico and I'm freezing my butt off!

    (((Hugs)))

    ~Mimi~

  • It was COLD here today. In the moment, it's in the single digits (and that's Farenheit) and chilly to say the least! :)

  • wow, these are interesting

  • Thank you!

  • G...you globe-trotting, big family havin', trailer livin', animal matter touchin' red head...tag me will you?!

    It's on like Donkey Kong, now....I'm gonna....well, make a video, I guess.

  • LOL! Best comment of the night!

Sorry to call you out like that Mark! But YT needs you! :)

  • Oh, no worries, Gairie...

  • One of these days, MarC, I promise I will spell your name right!

  • Or, just stick with Frosty...

  • Chances are, I'd spell that wrong too! :)

  • Neat little FYI's! Thanx for sharing!

Hope you have an Excellent New Year! *hugs*

  • Thank you!

Happy New Years to you as well! :) ((HUGS))

  • 50 or 60 at your Christmas eve? WOW

  • Yeah...it gets a bit LOUD! LOL

  • OMG...when you said you had "given birth to many a calf"...it reminded me of when you delivered mine and Darla's child. I need to come up with my 5 random facts! Thanks for tagging me. -Doug

  • Ah yes, those were the days when i delivered yours and Darla's baby. It's amazing how i can spend so much time making videos when I'm such a busy (and successful) baby doctor! :)

  • Nice vlog Gary. I'd say traveling are my highlights. I'll have to pm you about that bachelor party lol KD

  • LOL

It's a little too rated R for this website! LOL

    Happy New Year Pip! :)

  • Very interesting stuff. Especially the dairy farm stories.

    Happy 08!

  • Thanks Joe! Is it that surprising that the kid from Wisconsin grew up on a dairy farm? LOL

    Happy New Year!

  • LOL.... not surprising, no. But still interesting to a guy from NY.

  • LOL!

    I'm such a cliche'! LOL

  • Very cool Gary! Great answers, I feel like I have learned so much more about you!

And just where do you buy those shoulder length gloves for "deliveries'? LOL!

(Yeah, I've been to the live birth exhibits at the fair!)

  • Not sure where they got those shoulder length gloves! LOL I hear they are all the rage in Paris this season! LOL

    Happy New Year! :)

  • Cool, I was tagged!

I grew up on a farm, too. I had a horse, a goat, a skunk, tons of sheep, steers, cats and snakes. My sisters will lay claim to the chickens and ducks. But being a girl I never had to get into the dirty work.

  • Ah---the girls on the farm! Bah! My sister never even had to cut the grass! LOL

You had a skunk and snakes? Wow. We never had goats either. I did not know this about you! :)

  • I know I need to do a 50 things about me video or something.

And YES, The Frozen on needs to make more videos!

  • I originally did a 50 things about me video about a year ago. It's really cool to find some stuff out about other ppl!

    And yay for Ghosty!

  • I was blown away to find out you grew up working on a farm....this is such a great way to find out things about eachother. I'll be making mine soon :)

    Happy New year!!!

    ((((HUGS))))

  • Yup...total farm boy here! I would spend all of my summer days working on the farm, and inbetween things i was always drawing or reading. It's always weird for me thinking of that "past life" of mine after leaving for art school! In college my grandpa sold the family farm, and a few years later my dad tore down the hobby farm....So life goes on! :)

    Happy New Year! :)

  • This is a cool train. :) (Got to see the whole thing this time, too. It's nice to finally be home. I've been off since the 21st, too.)

  • Yeah...very cool to see these random stories by ppl! And glad you have your computer back! :)

  • Beautiful scenery in this vid Gary. What an interesting childhood! I always wanted to live on a farm. Now once again..get home and warm up. hugs, Chris :-)

  • Thanks Chris! Growing up on a farm definitely gave me many experiences that so many ppl never have. I don't regret a thing! :)

  • Not give birth...man it's unpossible for you to give birth. :)

Pigs are smarter than dogs. That upsets me when I eat a BLT.

You musta fit in well in Ireland with your grandfather's red hair. :)

  • Well, I helped birth many animals much like a vet.

Actually, in Ireland, i noticed may more ppl with dark hair vs. the red hair.

    :)

  • 1)LOl ginger pride.. red hair rawks..

2)umm what else is there to do in the snow??

    3)trailer eh?

4)see, I knew you were an animal..

    5)bachelor party..I can't touch that.. too easy..

Like the hat btw.. Happy 08 Gary! :0)

  • 1.) You know it.

    2.) Make yellow snow?

    3.) Yup.

    4.) Grrrr

5.) Somethings are left better unspoken about!

    Happy 08! :)

  • This is my favorite part of YT. LOVE hearing about life stories and random facts. I grew up with cows, too. Agree on the pigs being nasty. Know all about the poo as well. And you being the oldest of ALL those cousins: That would make for an intersting personality analysis..I'm the youngest of all the cousins..hmmmm. -sue

  • Pigs were just always so filthy and the worst smelling creature on earth!

I've always thought that because I'm the oldest of my family that I've gained a certain independence from that. It would be interesting to dig deeper...I think! LOL

  • Groovy hat! It suits you!

Growing up on a farm is cool! I wish I had some of that experience.

  • Thanks! I dig it! :)

I am happy that I grew up on the farm. But we missed out on a lot of things too. And I never worked so hard in my life. But I wouldn't changes things for the world.

  • "Hands deep" - FOR THE LOVE! LOL

So true about the various things that make us who we are in present day.

Surfing over to check out Zebidee55's entry...

  • Yup...my hands were in places that only an animal doctor's hands should have to go in!

And whenever i spew out these facts about my life, it really blows my mind what my life was like, way back when... :)

  • For some reason I am altering the lyrics to that country song "Friends in Low Places" in my head...

"Gary's hands were in strange places..." is all I have right now, sorry.

  • Oh dear. 8)

And I hope you didn't take offense to the trailer comment. In posting this i thought it could have come off a bit crass. But really, the kind we had wasn't much to speak of, compared to the kind you live in!

  • Take offense? Heck no. In fact, we've blabbed about this topic before, right? I remembered you telling the story about your parents' trailer, though I forget how it came up.

  • Yeah....i forget how it came up as well.

Frankly, when i see your house I'm downright jealous!

  • I'm jealous of your French doors.

  • Wee wee!

  • Poo Poo!

  • And hence, we come back to YouTube talk! LOL

  • It's how we roll.

    :-D

  • Oh FFS!
