  • oh and the half eaten lamb bullshit your only breeding the poor little buggers to eat people should go and see some farms and the way animals are kept by these caring farmers

  • so on your terms fukwit us in the city can hunt you sheepshafters because obviously your a pest

  • Yeah and luckily for you, man was intelligent enough to keep on top of predators. Once again you narrow minded Anti's just dont see the big picture!! Stay in the towns and cities, eat your pre-packed and processed meats (or Tofu) and let the real world get on with putting the food in the supermarkets. Clearly got too much time on your hands. Ban the Ban!!

  • Foxes were here before humans, cattle and before farmers profit.

  • thank you for supporting animals & fighting evil.

  • Another 'I was brought up in the country' narrow minded statement from someone with clearly no idea of the reality of country life!! If you dont like it stay in the town with your towny crowd and leave the management of the 'real' countryside to those who have been doing so for hundreds of years!! Not done too bad a job so far me thinks? BAN THE BAN!!

  • Alisha Dixon probably thinks Clapham common is the countryside. People should refrain from getting involved with something they know nothing about.

  • People say "oh foxes kill things" as an argument to justify why we can cruelly kill them? It's natural selection when an animal kills another animal - of course it's not nice but that's not justification to unpurposefully kill animals for sport. It's not even killing an animal in a humane manner, or for population control, it's just ending its life for pleasure and amusement. I don't care if people dislike this comment or whatever, it's just these sports can seem remarkably cavalier at times...

  • @patyo1994

There's a fake pretense among hunters that it's about protecting farmers or conservation etc...it's a load of rubbish. We all know they kill animals because they enjoy it and take pleasure in barbarity.

  • FUCKING PRICK! if you went to america we would rip you and your orginization a new asshole!

  • @45Automag a well reasoned response - but the rest of the world doesn't want to come to your country- you normally come to other people's countries uninvited

  • @45Automag becuase you re country is backward

  • @45Automag becuase you re country is backward :D

  • @45Automag Steady on old chap, keep your dungarees on! There is no place for your Red Neck tantrums!! We act with a touch more decorum this side of the pond old bean!! And I must say, your spelling is atrocious, if you use the Queens' English then do so properly. Poor show Old Man!! Not sure you are the type of riff raff we want out in the sporting field, Semi auto shotguns....whatever next!

  • there not dogs there hounds!!! and you dont have an idea of what its like!! thoose animals need controlling

  • It is well known that a fox will kill lots of chickens and not eat them cause it plans to come back later to eat the rest. They are not just killing the chickens and not eating them for fun.

  • @m4meri Clearly you have no idea of how a fox kills! When they get in a chicken coop they get in a frenzy and kill everything, nothing to do with coming back later! I would love to see the look on your face when you go down to collect eggs with the kids and find carnage! I bet you would soon be asking for your local pest controller (Or Hunt!!) to assist! I wish people would understand that country life aint all about pink hunter wellies and driving a 4x4!

  • @crackthump

Foxes were here before poorly built chicken coops.

  • @ Rambo, I dare say she would not like it at all, but I feel you are missing the point here. I live in the countryside, I keep chickens and 2 sheep and I feed the local fox every week scraps we throw out. Why? Because IF WE KILL IT, IT WILL BE REPLACED BY ANOTHER, and another etc. Try it out - you might find that working in harmony with your surroundings works better than simply trying to kill everything that gets in your way.

  • She really doesn't have a clue, I'm not sure if she's ever been outside of a town, typical of the LACS to get someone like this on board.

  • Search ' Stag stabbed to death on 'sanctuary' ' on YouTube. The League Against Cruel Sports showing its real colours. Alesha has no idea how the countryside works and neither does this stupid charity. The wording she uses in this video is pathetic.

  • Im never watching strictly come dancing ever again

  • So just because she is a 'celebrity' does that mean that her opinion counts for more than mine? Should we all do exactly what she says just because she wears skimpy outfits and prances round on a stage.

I wonder how many times she goes out on a cold winters morning to do some Sabbing.

Of this is the level the LACS has had to drop itself to now I have even less respect for you.

  • It's not all in the name of sport and you say they are niocent..... last year a fox came to my chicken farm with 300 chickens on it. And when we woke up it was like a bomb had gone off... 300 chickens dead some with their heads pulled off some riped to shreds by a fox.And when we looked on the CCTV it was all done by one fox. And they Badgers came and gave all our cows TB and after that we hunted them down and set all 9 of our dogs on them and over 700 animals were killed money = over £10.000

  • @farmergeorge11 FINALLY someone with some sense. People don't realise the finacial losses for farmers, It's sickening. People think foxs will only choose to kill one chicken, No. The fox will kill all of them.

  • So slaughtering chickens, cows and sheep etc is cruelty? if people believe fox hunting is cruelty they are very wrong. It's just the same as slaughtering animals for food. Next time you go to eat that chicken think about why it died... FOR YOU. People have no knowledge these days.

  • @DaisyMayandGee so chasing and killing an animal just for a bit of fun isnt cruelty iyo?

  • @Gilz84 I'm sorry, but people are blowing this out of proportion. Have people like you even considered farming? Farmers are suffering from huge losses because of foxes, A fox would rather get an easy meal, by visiting a farm than having to hunt for food. But foxes won't just kill one animal. They will whipe out ALL of the animals. Hunting helps prevent this, So if you still want chicken on your plate I propose you wise up. I'm not saying I agree, But tbh hunting isn't bad.

  • @DaisyMayandGee surely farmers can find ways of protecting their chickens that doesnt involve brutally killing any predator. Im a vegetarian btw so I would rather they not keep chickens at all. like I said previously fox hunting doesnt control fox populations anyway - its purely for sport

  • @Gilz84 No, the only way farmers can protect their stock is by shooting the foxes. my family is a farming family I know a lot, and there really isn't much you can do. I'm also a vegetarian. But I do not believe that fox hunting should be ban. I've been a veggie for over 7 years. Besides, fox hunting does contribute to controlling the population, it's fact. and since the ban farmers are suffering. Of course it's a sport, but so is Bull fighting which is worse so why not complain bout that

  • @DaisyMayandGee so we can put man on the moon but we cant construct something to keep foxes away from chickens? Im sure there are other ways of protecting livestock. like I said anyway fox hunting has nothing to do with pest control. what made you choose to be vegetarian? I dont like bull fighting either - people killing for entertainment which is just what fox hunting is about.

  • @Gilz84 well, fencing etc can work, but as you should know foxs can dig and will dig. that is the only other option, unless farmers want to coop up their chickens and give them a unfair life. I know many people who have been on hunts in the past and the majorty of the time, they never find a fox. I chose to become a vegetarian because I hate battery farming etc, I dislike the idea of a short and unfair life for a creature.

  • @DaisyMayandGee "I dislike the idea of a short and unfair life for a creature" and yet you think there is nothing wrong with chasing a fox to exhaustion and setting dogs on it to rip it apart?? and if they rarely catch a fox as you say then you must agree it is not effective as a means of population control.

  • @Gilz84 No. I never said I agree with Fox Hunting. But, I do believe that it is a way of controlling the population, ah but thats in my area. This doesn't mean that the WHOLE of the UK don't catch anything. when my area is just a village with a couple of farms etc.

I disagree with the dog suitation anyway. There are some hunters that DON'T use dogs, e.g the ones I know, maybe thats why they never catch anything, but if they do they kill it quickly.

  • @DaisyMayandGee are you for or against fox hunting?? if you dont agree with it surely you are against it?

  • @Gilz84 I'm neutral, I'm not against but I'm not for, I just don't agree with people taking things to extreme when complaining about it. However if it's peoples opinion and I respect everys opinion and beliefs.

  • @DaisyMayandGee it is peoples.**

  • @DaisyMayandGee you dont care if people kill animals for sport/fun?

  • @DaisyMayandGee. Sorry - it's not the only way at all!!! I live in the countryside and keep livestock myself (I thought I might mention that, as there are many people that say 'you don't live in the countryside how can you understand, etc - all incredibly smug and patronising) I feed the local fox - it takes a little more time than simply shooting it. Your family may know a lot, but I'm afraid you can't know everything - nobody can. However, what I am saying is that this is not the only way.

  • @Hollyberry81 I agree. But we live right next to a huge forest, and god knows how many foxes are living there, but we have 12 sheep and 6 lambs, which we have already lost 2 from the foxes, we have lost all our chickens and we have only just replaced them, we had 12 chickens, and we had 5 geese, but the foxes took them also. Trust me , we have tried everything, we just can't find a solution and its quite upsetting. Of course no one knows everything, learning is the way forward.

  • @DaisyMayandGee I don't doubt it is upsetting - I had my vehicle broken into by another 'pest' and trust me, there were times when I felt like shooting them with a 38. We have a rich history as a country and sadly, foxhunting was one of those along with many others which have now rightly been put to bed. We are a civilised country - we should be very proud we do not do this anymore. We are surely better than this? It was turned into a class war and is doing so again. So sad.

  • Alesha has joined my celebs without a clue list then. Numpty woman!

  • i wonder what Alesha would say if I showed her the pictures of my dead lambs ( only half eaten) killed by foxes??

  • @rambo6854 She probably tucks into a nice lamb curry....yum yum!

  • @rambo6854 nothing, it's a false dichotomy , hunting with hounds is not the only way to artificially control animals, if they need to be 'controlled'

  • What kind of person would harm an animal for fun or in the name of sport, only a sadist or someone without a brain. I have a huge new found respect for Alesha and admire her greatly for joining this charity. We will win this fight eventually.

  • No one wants to see a fox or a hare ect get torn to pieces but the fact is foxes kill lambs and chickens- a source of food which should be priority against 'cute' animals.

  • @StephTheShootingStar so because foxes kill chickens we have the right to brutally kill foxes?

  • @Gilz84 no but chickens produce food for the country which is more important than a useless 'cute' animals. it may be brutal but its quick. quicker than whats actually legal to kill foxes! ever heard of a snare? its horrible. the foxes get trapped in them, they panic and they are terrified for hours and hours slowly being strangled! That is cruel and disgusting in my opinion much worse than being hunted!

  • @StephTheShootingStar dont like snares either but hunting isnt quick - they can be chased for hours before giving in out of exhaustion and then being ripped apart by dogs. hunting has nothing to do with pest control its just done by people who enjoy cruelty

  • What a silly cow she is , i wonder if she has seen the video of the lacs killing deers !!!!

  • get a understanding of the fucking contryside!!!!!! u stupid hoe! but to be fair ill still bang her ;)

  • get back in the kitchen and cook me a badger pie!!!

  • @satinisgod1 yhh and make me a rabbit pie to haha!

  • shes so blody fake!!

  • Well that's blown it - any credibility the the LACS ever had with me has now gone. She obviously hasn't a clue. I was against fox hunting until I took the trouble to lean about it from an ex LACS member whod actually taken the trouble to find out more and had the guts to change her mind about it. LACS - dont treat us like idiots by thinking you can get a celebrity to sell a message that you have failed so much to sell us yourslves.

  • She should stick to what she knows about...Dancing. On second thoughts, she knows chuff all. She obviously hasn't got a clue what she's talking about, sentimental shite. Keep hunting.

  • what properganda lets see these city people what a country persons life is when your buisseness is on the line cos off foxes and badgers killing our birds .

  • hunting is important to control the number of foxes that kill lambs and chickens

and now its been banned by the city people they are having trouble with foxes

  • I used to be a massive fan of yours Alesha but because of this will no longer buy your music or watch Strictly. You clearly have no understanding of the countryside or a genuine and educated love of animals or you would know how wrong your stance on this subject is.

  • @jolenesouth77 now they love her, now they hate her?

  • After watchin this i shant listen to any more of her music shame she dosent stick to wat she knows about (music) and leave the country people to do what they know about but this is another classic example of why the countrys fucked people interferin with things they dont no about!!!!

  • THANK YOU ALESHA. REGARDLESS OF WHERE ONE HAS BEEN BROUGHT UP OR WHERE ONE LIVES, SEEING OR WITNESSING CRUELTY AFFECTS ALL HUMANS WITH ETHICS AND COMPASSION...AND IN THIS CASE, COMMON SENSE! WE ARE THE GUARDIANS OF THIS PLANET WITH ALL ITS CREATURES...NOT ITS AXEMAN!!! ALESHA..PLEASE CARRY ON WITH YOUR GOOD WORK..WE ARE BEHIND YOU ..NAMASTE X

  • im sorry but this is a new level of bullshit.

she obviously wasn't bought up in the countryside because she would no what damage that the foxes and deer do to our plants and wildlife. and badgers well there all cute and cuddly Two letters T B they infest our cattle with it and so they then have to be slaughtered oh but that's not cruel. you people need to get out in the countryside and see what damage these creatures do. you are thick and one sided fuck the lot of you. ban the ban keep hunting

  • @goshawkman I totally agree, I was bought up in the countryside and farmers suffer from huge finacial losses, It's disgraceful how people just jump to conclusions.

  • Well done Alesha. Keep up the good work. I love Wildlife, and the more protection it gets the better.

  • shared with gratitude for the stand up work of the League

  • Excellent appeal, Alesha.

    Keep cruelty history.

  • Couldn't agree more. I just pray this barbaric "sport" is not legalised again. It has no place in a modern civilised society. Thanks Alesha and thanks The League.

  • Well done Alesha!!! Nuff Respect!!

  • New found respect for Alesha Dixon! Go her!
