I have to say I only half agree with twisted2903 because he/she has every right to insult the person below, but that doesn't mean you have to insult the team entirely. And "a lucky game or two?" 14 home games in a row we won, and the last two away games we won as well. Now don't get me wrong; I have to say if I like any other team in this league it's the Havoc but, you don't need to badmouth another team because you're a fan of another. And why don't you look into the history of the Mississippi
hockey. The Seawolves? > >; I never saw them play, but they had some badass players. Not to mention a goalie one year who even after throwing up on the ice from playing too much, continued to play every game of the playoffs. Now if the Havoc win over hte Surge, I'll be sad but I'll give them the credit they're due. But like I said, don't badmouth another team. You might lose your current players to that team next year, hell half of our team used to play others in the SPHL.
When me, mom, and my dad went to Mississippi to watch the Havoc vs. Surge game, the fans were HORRIBLE to us. I mean down right HORRIBLE to us. Waving flags in our face, get told to get out of the arena, and everything else. It was really sad when we didn't treat your fans the same way. And that's another thing, there is to much "History" down there. To many people follow the Seawolves or whatever they were called. Nobody thinks of the future in the team that is down there now. Just the past....
No body thought much of the seawolves when they came around either. And I think I know what you're talking about, but not everyone's like that. I was talking to a Havoc fan and offered to give them pictures, but they left before I could get the chance to offer after the game. As for the fans, they're obviously not true hockey fans or they'd keep their anger on the ice. And the team, we've only had hockey for a few years after the storm. And a few people QUIT going because of the name change.
i would love to see any member of the surge try to take the jerseys off our boys. a goalie worth a shit? really? have you seen sibbald? have you heard of mcwhinney? just because yall jumped to first place after a lucky game or two you guys think you can talk. we will see you in the playoffs. thugs...how original...you can tell that guy only got a first grade education.
Our FIRST place Surge showed remarkable restraint in not mixing it up more with those thugs. Now THERE'S an idea...change the team name from Havoc to Thugs!!!!!
This night was amazing... although Surge were getting in a lot of cheap shots for both games and that's what pissed the guys off so much. Go Havoc!! :D P.S.... Marty is the BEST!!!!! :D
to the guy who said "this is what we needed" no.. you need to take those us jerseys off because your players will never equal the talent of the 1980 us hockey team... and you need a goalie worth a shit.. and need some scoring power... because you have no players in the top 9 in scoring points.. and you need a new p.a announcer... miss pronouncing names on purpose just because your teams losing is no reason to act unprofessional... your team would rather goon it up than play hockey
