Commendatore, Sparafucile, these are the same roles that Giorgio Tozzi sang early in his career and I hope that the Met shows the same confidence in Stefan Kocan. You can already here echoes of Silva, Fiesco and King Philip in his singing. I'd also add Alvise in La Gioconda and Zaccaria in Nabucco to that list.
