I bought in 1973 Love Devotion Surrender and still think the cover is the best part of it. If you like the Mahavishnu Orchestra and Santana's Moonflower you may understand what music I'm after. What did I expect? I expected some clean, funky and hot jazzrock. They played instead elevator music. If you like McLaughlin's tone at 1:00 and later at 4:00/4:50 ....mmm. Look how fast Carlos puts at the end his guitar down! Santana group played later on that day as well and was phenomenal.

@MrHasi1965... the use of chewing gum are many reasons! In this case of playing, some musicians as also singers can
get dry throat, I for example use glass of water,too. Another reason is, some chewing gum are also made with energetic natural conponents as ginseng,guarana etc...which are positive working on concetration and stimolate the function of memory.I 'm speaking also about my case,are effective,other specific reasons I don't know!!!

Really, I thought the concert was one of the best that Ive ever seen and have seen Santana 9 times since 1994. Actually magic was more like it because the musicians appeared much more grateful to be able to experiment new songs together vs the regular set list.

This was the most terrible concert I have ever seen. Almost 100 Euro thrown to the pigs. Mr. Santana said their souls are connected. I saw two disconnected individuals though. Chewing gum and cool blabla is not good enough!
