It actually looks like he's creating a bending sound by pushing own on the body and pulling up on the neck. I think people do something slighttlllyyy similar by waving the neck/headstock forward quickly.

And it sounds like he's using some regular high gain distortion run through some les paul humbucker pickups?

Thank you for your comment. Gilby and Slash, both used black Les Pauls in that tour. Slash used 2 black Les Pauls, one was all black hardware and black parts, another one was chrome hardware and cream parts. Knobs were sometimes black, sometimes gold.

I have a question...when i play sitting on a chair i have no problems but if i play standing i'm not able to play anymore...why? :|

It's very natural. It is because the relation of your hand and finger board may change by standing up. So, when I do practice, I always play standing up. If you play always sitting, you cannot do the same thing with standing up. If your guitar position is very low like Slash, the tendency is more strong. So, I started playing new song, or studying some scales, I play sitting. And when I can do it with sitting, I do not do like that any more. That's my opinion and my way of practice.
