If you took the time to actually look up solder with a quick search, then you would've known that there are different kinds of solder, and only lead solder actually has lead in it.

In fact, the recent RoHS laws enforce the use of products which contain little or no lead content in electronic equipment, and solder falls into that catagory.

Most solders these days likely don't have lead as a result, unless you specifically get lead solder.
