I look for a blue police box everyday. I was so happy when I saw one in wales, i just say I go to doctor who things for my brother, but I love them too!
6,5 not bad for a german with an american stepfather, isn't it?
Loved the one about football! My dad used to play (and coach it). Every time he hears somesting like that he turns all red and won't stop ranting *lol*
My Aussie mate and I compared Marmite & Vegemite one day. The results were obvious. He loved Vegemite & I loved Marmite. Must be something you have set in your taste buds early in life. Have you tried Bovril??
Maybe I should give vegemite another go, but I have a 500g tub of Marmite in the cupboard to use up first. I tried Marmite and pork scratchings on some of my students in Japan once, they were nearly sick. Is there an equivelant to Bovril in Australia, anyone know? Another Aussie mate of mine used to ask me to get her Andrew's Liver Salts too. Lovely stuff!
Marmite is... very hard to explain. It's black, gooey and salty, and can be eaten on bread or toast, or used to liven up soups and stews. It's one of those things you either love or hate.
An ex-patriot living in the USA.....and I can relate to all but one. I too thought that American Football was a less physical game than rugby.....until I went to an NFL game. I have now stood close to the field in both of these professional sports and when you have too, then you are enitled to an educated opinion. American Football is an extremely brutal full-contact sport with pads, rugby is a less intense physical battle but with less protection. They are both tough games. Go Titans!!!
I'm Australian but I still understood most of it. I was actually wondering the other day why is it English people love curry so much? Then I thought well maybe the cold miserable weather there makes you feel like eating a hot curry? Hey you should do a list on Germans.
hehe, she said except the Marmite she's very British ;o) ... ask myself what this Marmite is ... is it something like as Vegemite from Australia? If yes then it's really gross :-P
lol i'm british and the only questions i agreed with were 1, 2, 11, and 13..maybe it's because i'm welsh and not english?! (although still british) this was fun though XD
I knew it. How British I am: un! ;) The only two I nodded at: 1 and 2. But actually, and this is probably not even allowed to say, I do LIKE nr 1, and don't love it, and certainly I do not hate it.
Btw, have you got a tip for me where to buy it in Germany? Or do you import it from the UK?
hehe, this is a fun test! I could relate to 7 out of 13 of them (1,2,6,7,9,10,11) which seems about right for someone living in a Commonwealth country and who has an English father. A very good test indeed ;) I'll just go put that kettle on now..
Ok iam definetely not British!

Just remembered, I went to a Chinese restaurant in London a few months ago and they had Marmite spare ribs. They were amazing. Wish I had the recipe.

Well, I'm from Wales and I have to say that I prefer vegemite. It's a little firmer and the flavour is great!

A German who likes Marmite -- that's a novelty.
My wife got some Marmite for me via a colleague who happened to be going on a business trip.
There are some British stores in the larger cities. I expect a Google search might help you here. :)
