For North American market during it's production, mk2 was the only, and I think last Jetta to be made only in Germany. Maybe earlier ones were made along side with Golf in Westmoreland, but Im not sure about that. I saw different models and years of mk2 Jetta, which all where straight out of Wolfsburg.
