  • Proves you can't go by hits to find something good..especially not on this channel.

  • Open this along with the "rainy mood" website. Blissful.

  • Loving the facial expressions at the end! Keep it up.

  • Hey was just wondering if anyone knew if there was anywhere to buy the sheet music or tab?

  • @FireBladeProductions try checking the Lydian Label website

  • It kind of sounds like I'm playing Sims

  • i love how they looked at each other after they finished playing.. maaan that was good!

  • Whats the guitar tune?

  • @FatBoly buy them at the candyrat store. :)

  • @shizueleven not half as much fun as figuring it out for oneself

  • @shizueleven unfortunately, you can't buy'em there :/

  • nice one guys. keep it rolling ;)

  • László?

  • 素晴らしいです!!

  • There are no words to describe how amazing and unusual this is ! These guys are true artists ! Simply love it !!

  • lol the guitarist's face at the end.

  • Hey does anyone know where I can get the sheet music or tab for this song?

  • I love your music, good job man!

  • bravissimi

  • Is there a name to this genre of music? I want more of this type of style of music to study with.

  • @Widly05 I was thinking the same thing.. listen to other stuff by Lazlo and other artists uploaded by rpoland. its not exactly the same, but its all really good and thats what makes this unique. Also a suggestion, a lot of Japanese role playing video games and animes have amazing soundtracks with music really close to this, if you have the time someday check it out

  • @Widly05 Hey Widly! – I guess this might be difficult to classify as a genre, but there is plenty of great stuff out there with similar values. I think what probably defines this (and a lot of other Candyrat material) is the way in which it features some more complex harmonic / rhythmic ideas, but is still fairly hooky, instantly appealing and easy to digest. You might want to check out ‘Goldwrap’ by EST and ‘Chutzpan’ by Avishai Cohen :) -Todd

  • Very wonderful piece!

  • The intro...is juz amazing..its like im under a beautiful moonlight and being embraced by a close friend or my gal ..juz beautiful!

  • That was sweet....inspirational!

  • Wonderful sound. Lydia must have been a wonderful girl.

    Thank you

  • Guy's got great control over that piano

  • There's always one, or in this case 11...

  • Have they brought out sheet music for this? I can't find it anywhere - unless I'm looking in the wrong places :)

  • Lydia had one fucking magical, vivid dream. I want dreams like those.

  • Anybody else pick up on "all new materials" by Periphery in this song? The intro is literally the same.... so in essence if you want to hear a metal version of this song look it up.

  • @holleyab I definitely hear the resemblance. But more importantly; Thank´s a LOT for mentioning that song/band. I just discovered that band because of you! Wee! :) The song rocks!

  • @holleyab ...It's similar, but not "literally" the same. LITERALLY the same would mean it was copied note for not, but it's not, it just sounds similar. Anyways, good job on getting a new fan of Periphery, I guess?

  • @holleyab that's exactly what i thought... my mind just relate it instantly

  • You have to show us more! Give us more! This is stunning good!

  • this is so beautiful. it just moves me

  • Nice...very cooll

  • Quality!

  • 4:31 they seem to be well aware to how awesome they are :P

  • @Bjaelleg1 nah I think they were just acknowledging that it was good take, must have taken a few to get it that tight ;)

  • @MonkeyHamsterOnline True dat. Must be very har to get that take right

  • Hajrá!

  • Omg, the intro of this song is so similar to Periphery's song All New Materials. Check it out :)

  • Th blend is sweet and peaceful. Powerful arrangement - in sync... Bravo!

  • Awesome music, I love these studio videos

  • Simply amazing. Please upload more.

  • i can listen to that poly-rythmical thing going on from 3:24 , again and again! Oh man. its just SO tight and sweet. It made me forget all about Tool and Porcupine Tree for a moment. Im SO happy to see some band performances on this channel!

  • @thomasoring I totally agree about 3:24 the whole vid could have been of this genre fantabulous. WOW!!! Thanks to rpoland once again. Namaste' ;-)

  • BRILLIANT!!!!!!! EXCELENT!!! BRAVO!! GENIAL!!

  • That man is a true guitarist. These are musicians.

  • Great 20 fingers!!!

  • awesome! good job dudes! :)

  • This almost sounds like something for Legend of Zelda

  • Amazing!!!!

  • When the guitar solo starts it kinda sounds like the 'I evening with Jordan Rudess and John Petrucci' :)

  • Im 500th liker!!

  • i reaking love the japanese touch to it. reminds me of one of the tracks from the final fantasy series.

  • Lovely shame, but it's kind of a shame that the sound of the piano pedal was picked up so loudly.

  • SOOOO GOOD

  • Is that a Lowden guitar?

  • @ddanze Read the decription and you will discover the answer.

  • 4.42 mins of pure joy, Todd and Aaron superb. thanks candyrat for download

  • Very good song, and I'm not even into this kinda music. I listen to mostly metal oO I dabbled with composing music with trackers, sequensers, midi and the like when I was younger though, even play an instrument or two, heh.

  • this goes in my car.

  • I can hear the influence of jazz in this composition more than in any other on Candyrat. As much as it's interesting and fresh, I have mixed feelings about it.

The composition itself is good, but jazz as a genre doesn't leave an impression on me. So I guess I could say I like and don't like this song at the same time. :)

Not many artists have left THAT kind of impression on me, I can tell you that. :)

  • @mickeypopa Pino Forastiere has a lot of Jazzy influences too, did you check him out?

  • @K1LL14N

Yeah, didn't leave an impression. :)

  • holy shit!

  • sounds a tad like some of joe hisaishis stuff in the chords

  • Laszlo and Todd Baker are amazing. I hope they get the publicity they deserve :)

  • mooom, wheres my hd headphones ????! FAAASST

  • @guit4rdreams Leaving her a comment on YouTube won't help her enable your laziness.

  • Listening to this on repeat :) there's just something about it, beautifully relaxing

  • @AndreLuizChanel hahaha wtf??

  • @chicken6111 hahaha Hi my friend

  • Amazing sounds!

  • Is there a way to have the tabs?

  • @BinzRab

Yes, just listen to the song and try to play wat the guys are playing AND write it down!

Thats the way i do it

  • @LittleGustav it's a way :D

  • Neumann TLM103 and Neumann U87 for one Guitar. ;) This is great. ;)

  • Love the look of that Lowden.

Oh! and the music is awesome aswell!

  • Lydia from Skyrim??

  • I still miss Reign of Kindo :(

  • beautiful song x

  • Tabs!

  • There is literally nothing on CandyRat that I don't like in some small measure. This is no exception.

All I can say is: Well done, gentlemen. Well done.

  • PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE MAKE THE TABS FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spectacular song, really haven't been this impressed by something in a long time

  • The synchronization is ridiculous... Like quantum entanglement ridiculous...

  • It's always a great feeling when I get my email notifications that rpoland has uploaded a new video! And again, I am happy to say that this duo is awesome! Great song! All I can add is KEEP 'EM COMING CANDYRAT!!!

  • Good.

  • Does this remind anyone else of The Sims?

  • @Meverett1000 I was just thinking the same haha

  • @Meverett1000 Totally :D the music was one of the reasons I could just spent hours building

  • @Meverett1000 i said that on there main channel

  • @Meverett1000 oh man the first sims, the nostalgy :D

  • @Meverett1000 no.

  • @shizueleven fag

  • @Meverett1000 buy it from candyrat site

  • @Meverett1000 no.

  • @Meverett1000 hell yeah! :D

  • @Meverett1000 haha absolutely, i know exactly what you mean. totally had a bunch of music just like the begining of this song in the sims and the sims 2

  • @Meverett1000 fuck, I miss building my perfect houses... the perfect world of the videogames.. Ive always went there

  • rainstick failure. Everything else was the tits. The groove reminds me of Steve miller band crossed with santana crossed with weather report crossed with jethro tull.

  • Hey guys, thanks for the nice comments!.. We really appreciate it:)

The reason why we were wearing headphones for this tune was to make it easier to monitor what we were both playing. The grand piano is twice as loud as the guitar and without the headphones it would have been more difficult to hear what we were both playing.

  • @LydianLabelOnline and they look stylish too... admit it! lol. Great musicianship transcends all headgear appearances! \m/\m/

  • why does this remind me of the old Zelda games?

  • awesome tune wow!

  • Candyrat fucking rules!!!

  • @verodefacto Amen to that

  • That was just incredible! Why can't people listen to music this instead of Justin Bieber?

  • Freaking awesome!

  • Musicianship at it's BEST!

  • my favorite song so far! excelente work!!

  • perfect ending!

  • The beginning kinda sounds lite something from chrono trigger to me. Really awesome tune :)

  • Skyrim

  • I would love to hear this piece except "slow it down, just a little bit"! Gorgeous piece however! Very contemplative! Mood music for certain!

  • amazing

  • Very nicely done, MT!

  • sounds like robert miles

  • I am completely enjoying this. Bravo :)

  • Just checked out the album on itunes. I would actually have paid for this acoustic version of the song, but I'm not really feeling the electronic sound from the samples I'm hearing.

  • Sounds like 7/8 throughout most of it. Great arrangement for the composition.

  • Are you guys related to my buddy, Jesus, by any chance? This was incredible. O.O

  • fantastic, this was really great.

  • Fwoah, That's awesome.

  • This is like a version of The Sims music that actually doesn't suck.

  • this is amazing.

  • crazy timing very creative i like it

  • this is why 7/8 is my favourite meter ^.^

  • @MusicLovingSina I don't believe this is 7/8, friend, :P

  • @TheGilmer The intro is definitely 7/8. :P

  • @ferretjka Oh yeah, it is. Sorry, I was like over halfway through when I initially read their comment. xD Sorry 'bout that.

  • Rpoland... the white guys with guitars label.

  • IS someone hungarian in the band or soemthing ? BTW this is AWESOME . Haven't heard something this good in a while

  • It'd be amazing if there was tabs/sheet music for this!

  • Really beautiful!

  • loved it!

  • I like it!

    Yes, I like it!

Yes yes, I like this mm-hmm!

  • They are connected midi to each other. Wireless.. Beautiful piece !

  • 2:20

    love it

  • Really good job

    A music truly unique !

  • Their timing together is amazing, and this further confirms my belief that guitar sounds amazing with every instrument.

  • @guitar2adam I think they listen to headphones to hear their metronome track. Anyway it's great and I'm impressed!

  • @fotszyrzk79 it would have to be a very sophisticated metronome track to handle all the retards between sections like at 1:00

  • @guitar2adam Agree - it's smooth, and curvy, but It's not so difficult to make that kind of metronome track actually :).

  • deep
