Oh gosh, Anneke is so cute. Even as an adult woman she sometimes has this air of pure innocence and youth... Her smile enchants everyone, her voice is angelic, powerful and ever so soft at the same time, she is so pure and beautiful. This woman is incredible.

Had the pleasure of seeing The Gathering live in Lisbon (first time they were there), Anneke was pregnant at the time and I remember that it was a massive performance. Her voice made cracks in my soul, such was the purity. Shame she left the band. Sleepy Buildings is a mesmerizing album, totaly agree.

I had came in their concert in Athens at 2004 (i think) and i was sitting with my company in some benches inside the club that they would play a bit after! While we were sitting we couldn t see the stage so we were talking about ... and suddenly i listened her voice, so clear like pure water and i said to myself ... no CD again FUCK when they will start the concert??? ... but seconds after i realized the concert has just began!!!!

I wasn't very familiar with The Gathering the first (and only) time I saw them live. unique experience... they playing Black Light District will always be burned in my mind. just amazing.

Great song, and the album it's off of is EXTREMELY overrated. I don't know why people complain about Home so much. It's a great album. They're a great live band, too. I have Sleepy Buildings and it's mesmerizing. So beautiful.
