LOL I had the option to take the original radio with this car but wanted the CD player and the old owner didn't know where he put the radio anyway. I would have taken it otherwise! This car does have the original speakers though...they are so wrecked though that I really need to have them replaced when I can afford it. I can't wait to restore this car, have it painted, fix the speakers, but for now it will have to do :)
Hey I have a 91 saab and i recently replaced the front speakers. its REALLY cheap and REALLY easy. idk where you live but if you go to the wal-mart in manchester they'll probably have the 4" speakers for 24 bucks. all you need is the right kind of screw driver (torx) and a flathead screwdriver. after you get the vents off in front, it's as simple as plugging in some wires. PM me if you have any questions!
@gopena1 sadly my saab barely runs anymore and has been sitting in my yard for the past month :(, and this happened just after I replaced the exhaust & battery!
@MusashiHazmat84 What's the status now? The Bosch k-jet fuel injection can be tricky, I had an 85 that I could never get to idle. Shouldn't be difficult for a seasoned Saab specialist to get your car running half way decent, though. : )
haha! i also love the clock in my 85 900! though i wish my saab had the original radio....will probably order one and have it installed, i'm wierd like that :)

You have bought a very fine car.
I have a similar, but with a diffrent engine.
These cars are one of a kind.
Saab did at the time chose to make AC a standard feature on all US/CA cars.
Here in SWEDEN it were only standard on a few models.
It was an option on most of the cars back then.
This is a car from the time where Saabs were Saabs.
