I live about 1 km away from this rally, i can just simply walk to it actually, they used to have the repairing and the maintenance spots from the cars neer my house, thats where it all happend in this rally track, to bad they all set it up now in Rijssen, a place 10km near my house, now i cant just walk over there and see all the cars getting ready.

@RancidElf32 yes,the 4WD cars use slicks,

rear, and frontwheel drive cars use something between slicks and gravel tires.depends,how many miles gravel/dirt, and the state of the stage.

because of the rain before the rally,the bits of gravel where in a bad condition.

overhere we don't have stages of 100% gravel

so the drivers have to make a compromise.

BTW this weekend, the 30st edition of the hellendoorn rally.

Suspect they are tarmac tyre whereas a mud/gravel tyre would be better suited to the task ?

Dat is een Dumb Valve wat je hoord. Het is een ventiel dat er voor zorgt dat het teveel aan druk bij het overschakelen kan verdwijnen uit het systeem. Zo blijft je turbo op snelheid en duurt het bij het opnieuw intrappen van het gas minder lang voordat de druk weer is opgebouwd.
