My friend actually thought this would be a good slogan for a bar. I can see his point, but the humour for me kind of comes from the fact that the slogan is implying the experience has been and gone before you've even been there. Also, to say that the dream has become a memory could be seen as implying the dream was trashed by the terrible experience at the karaoke bar.
