Easy. Outlaw all religious beliefs. That's the source of all the world's perpetual ills. We have the technology and the resources, but what the world needs now is compassion and brotherhood. All we need is a social conscientousness that sparks a passion and zest for the educated life. All religious beliefs kill that passion for life. We must destroy all religions by legislation and by enforcement. When a man or woman runs for office based on that concept, I'll give them my vote.
It's painfully obvious that Washington caters to the wealthy. They don't care about the American people as a whole like it says in their job description. Mr. Speaker- ignore the middle class at your peril. The people are sick and tired of not being your priority any longer. You have rewritten the rules of the economy to favor the few at the expense of the many. This is the recipe for revolution. You should all resign in shame and disgrace for divorcing yourself from helping the middle class.
@MyXxx77 Thirdly, loaded questions aside (i.e. MyXxx77, when did you stop beating your mother?), it is morally unacceptable for Congress members to maintain personal financial gain personally from the outcome of their descision. Congress passes its own laws. It's not surprising it is legal. That does not alter historical precedent. Conflict of interest does not support the people's interest.
@MyXxx77 You are sure making a lot of unsupported assumptions which appear day by day to be harder to support. If thiss project is Canadian, who is going to build it? What if it were built by Canadian contractors?
@MyXxx77 But, it all comes down to where's the money going. Are we pumping oil from Alaskan fields, and pumping Alaskan natural gas? No. By buying oil from the Canadians we let them have precisely what they want--our money. Canada doesn't want an American pipeline, because they want us buying their oil. A pipeline isn't necessarily bad, the location and structural integrity are what matters here.
It's amazing what we're willing to do when they screw around with our money supply - I can't wait till they start in with the food shortages.

@mrr19601 Don't bother blaming others for your decisions. Be responsible and own them. YOU made the decision. GB did not bring a gun to your head and say you had to be something else....pretty far fetched reasoning.
Short and sweet, Take everything done by GW Bush and reverse it. He created this mess so he and his friends could get richer. The lying pig would not even admit to wrong doing with Iraq and WMDs.
@mrr19601 Broken record...he didn't do great, but current regime has done more in less time...if you want to play the blame game...instead of being a responsible thinking adult.
You guys are a wholly owned subsidiary of the fossil fuel companies, aren't you? If you want to create jobs, you might want to stop killing jobs bills, and firing loyal public servants.
The problem is, Obama is in office and ~55 million people (approximate number of Republicans) are still pissed because they lost to a black man, of course that would be ~55 million minus one, because I voted for Obama, and are doing anything they can to make his job as difficult as possible. Even at the expense of the nation!
@mrr19601 Obama didn't win the election. If you recall the group Acorn passed out cigerettes for votes numerous times and also register Micky Mouse. While the Black Panter stood outside with their clubs scaring woman and children. But look at the bright side.We will never have to worry about a black person winning again or for a better word, stealing. That why here in the South we kept them out of our hometown. We don't tolorate theifs.I wouldn't be suprised if they let Obama back in Chicago
@sephonica Hello, I want to thank you for the video's that I can now get to. I welcome your opinion. If you did ever decide to visit my town, you would be welcome. We keep racisiam in our pockets. Work ethics are what most people gaging a person buy. Bu were fialing ever day. We have to get a new Preident, we are losing our hope down here. What such a mess Obama has made. Thanks Jesse
Me president, one decision that would create 20,000 jobs. I would pass a law that companies could not pull up stakes and move out of the USA without huge fines, taxes and penalties levied upon them. I have built manufacturing plants around the world and that is exactly what almost every other civilized country in the world has for laws. They also have stiffer environmental laws. If you want leave you have to pay 12 to 24 months severence. Exceptions China and India. Where did our jobs go?
@mrr19601 Yes that would be freedom at its finest. Perhaps it would be a little better to stop regulating, ruling, and taxing to the point the companies have to leave if they wish to remain a viable business. If the government servants would step back and allow the citizens the room to be self responsible, self reliable, self sufficient and gather a little self respect rather than become dependent upon a nanny state, we could get going again...
Here is what I don't understand. I am all for protecting the environment such as clean air and water, etc. But, if we do not have jobs, if we do not have economic growth to fuel our nation and support our military, what good is protecting the environment if we are weak and broke as a nation? The Keystone project will create thousands of jobs as well as help reduce dependency on foreign oil. Obama needs to say YES THEY CAN to this project and stop waiting until after elections to decide.
@MrPoliticallyHonest WE ALL WANT CLEAN AIR AND WATER. and we are all environmentalists...but there are those who would want to tell you how to run your life in every aspect right down to the light bulbs in the sockets (and by the way-those curly chinese ones contain MERCURY!)...and it all boils down to who gets paid what by whom. Ron Paul...can't be bought...food for thought.
@ncrdisabled I agree with you, starting with the President Job,even though here in the south we don't call him the President. I hearing they don't call him President in the north any more. I hear now that, their to ashamed and should be.
I've always been a moderate Republican conservative. But, I'm the kind of right-wing fascist Christian individual who knows that starving children to death and poisoning our nation's heartland is crime against humanity--not to mention utter insanity. Also, BOEHNER, IF IT IS TRUE YOU HAVE FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS IN THIS PROJECT, YOU ARE VIOLATING THE VERY TENANTS OF MORAL EQUITY MY ANCESTORS FOUGHT AND DIED FOR TO MAKE THIS NATION! DEVEST YOURSELF OR DROP YOUR SUPPORT! IT'S MORALLY REPREHENSIBLE!
@MyXxx77 have you read Boehner's financial disclosure statement? Read for yourself. The man is speaker and yet invested in numerous investments. It comes down to morality and integrity. AS a republican, I find that reprehensible. I'm a republican of the party of Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Taft and Grant. Men who stood for something--well in Grant's case it was a case of Scotch, but I digress.
@Dragoon91786 So because politicians may have legal investments in projects that would greatly benefit the entire country, we should scrap them. Makes a lot of sense.
@MyXxx77 since we can no longer post links you will need to perform a web search for John Boehner keystone conflict of interest in Google. Click on the whitenoise article which comes up first, then click the link to the full washington post article, then click on the hyperlink to opensecrets dot o r g. You can look on their website to find a laundry list of things Congress does. I'd also suggest reading Lawrence Lessig's book: Republic, Lost. He also is a moderate republican.
@MyXxx77 I also wish to apologize for not being a "card carrying" republican. I'm afraid Oregon elections are performed via ballot elections, therefore we are not given "election cards". I do, however, give my $50 tax credit for political activities to the GOP. I just thought I'd let you know that, since you seem to think holding critical views of one's own party is somehow contrary to being an active member. Just think of me as a "Radical Republican", the kind who liked freeing slaves.
@MyXxx77 Ack, "invested in numerous investments", no, he's invested in numerous companies who would profit off of his decisions as Speaker. In other words, A MASSIVE CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Last I checked, holding an active conflict of interest is the very thing that constitutes a lack of moral uprightness. You cannot actively represent the people's interest, while simultaneously stand to benefit from a particular course of action--unless it benefits every American equally.
@MyXxx77 I mean by that someone whose children are in public school in a poor neighborhood, and voting to increase public funding. Although, even in that case it would be a conflict of interest. So, it would seem immoral on any account to act if you would personally benefit. Family and friends may count as a conflict too. The facts are we don't need elites in Congress, but the common citizen of the polis. 'Common' does not have to be stupid or ignorant, however.
@Dragoon91786 I agree, I wouldn't be surprised if more officials, Republicans and Democrats have money into this project. Crony capitalism is the worst corruption.
@jebduke1 Look at the damage caused when speculators caused the price of wheat to go up. Millions in Africa starved to death, all so some traders on Wall Street could make a quick buck. That is disgusting and economic genocide. I've always been a moderate Republican Conservative, and last I checked murder wasn't a Constitutional right. In 1787 they put speculators in the stockades or prison.
@jebduke1 As for the price of crude, thank Congress for that one for allowing Speculators. If we removed them the price would drop by more than half. But, Congress gets lots of money from people selling futures vs actuals.
@jebduke1 I'm a conservative and Am looking at the economics, just the long term economics. We'd be better served to build our own, but the Canadians won't let us because they want to sell us their oil. Therefore, why should we let them build a pipeline, especially a cheap one over our largest aquifer? Economically, that's stupid.
@jebduke1 That's true, but those lines are highly regulated, and were built with better materials, thicker pipes, running at a lower pressue. These people lobbied Congress & the Canadian parliament to increase the flow pressue above standard practice while lowering the pipe thickness. Normally, you do the opposite. These people are only out for money.
"According to Boehner’s financial disclosure forms, he invested $10,000 to $50,000 each in seven firms that had a stake in Canada’s oil sands, the region that produces the oil the pipeline would transport."
Start the dang pipeline - and while you're at it, give us American citizens our freedoms back!
It's at the point where I don't know why we're even paying ANY of you politicians! It seems the ONLY thing you're been doing is taking away our freedoms, money, jobs and hope from us - while almost ALL of You are becoming insider trading multi-millionaires! WTF?!?!
These job claims are total BS. The numbers touted by Boehner an absolutely false. And the number of permanent jobs crated by this toxic laden pipeline would be "maybe in the hundreds" according to a TransCanada spokesman when cornered by CNN'c Wolf Blitzer. It is also essential that you know that the "Honorable" John A. Boehner is highly paid to tout these lies and he also has a substantial investment in the approval of this pipeline.
What about the Alaska pipeline that was built back in the 1970's? There hasn't been any problems with it. The only disaster so far, was the Exxon-Valdez disaster in the late 1980's and that was a tanker that ran aground and caused a major oil spill. The proposed pipeline should be built. Get rid of the environmentalists in the process too, as they are costing everyone MORE MONEY by raising oil prices!
To the ignorant left wing trolls....the Fed is not responsible for local roads and bridges.... the towns and States are. Feds are only responsible for the Interstate highway system. Educate yourselves on how our country works....the Feds are not in charge of everything government, or everything public works. People in the Northeast shouldnt be paying for local roads in Callifornia, and people in California shouldnt be paying for fixing the bridges of NYC where they also collect tolls.
"according to Boehner’s financial disclosure forms, he invested $10,000 to $50,000 each in seven firms that had a stake in Canada’s oil sands, the region that produces the oil the pipeline would transport." -WashPost
Reject the pipeline. If you want to create jobs so badly send people to work on our nation's crumbling highways and greater infrastructure, not on dirty energy.
@Asylumescape33 You're an idiot. If our infrastructure is so bad, why arent they closed off to the public? Your fear mongering is pathetic. All energy is "dirty"... no such thing as clean energy.... give up your car and home and go live in a cave you Neanderthal.
@Asylumescape33 Oh I support you 100%. Clean energy is the future for America! Anybody who isn't an idiot drives a Volt which is powered by electricity... wait... that electricity comes from coal plants. I guess we're both hypocrites.
@Jesse99310 OK smart one and where are all these jobs going to be coming from ? They are not going to be coming from your Republican buddies !! Maybe you can leave and we will keep the 20 thousand !
I agree with ignoranceiscancerous, I would also put people to work repairing our bridges, water systems, roads and many other things that are in sad scary shape. The XL pipeline wouldn't even be an option. If anyone actually takes the time to research into the lies told on this pipeline and also researches on how many horrible problems we have already had with existing pipelines which are far shorter than this one, you will see why this is a mistake. Un-American? That's the majority of our gov.
I'd keep fighting ignorant opposition to clean up the Chesapeake Bay, a major regional economic driver, and a task that could create up to 35 times as many jobs as the Keystone XL pipeline (which poses serious risks to the health of heartland Americans).
Please stop working against this guys. It's pretty un-American
@MuslimPigFuckers C'mon man. Toxic chemical residue contaminating drinking water supplies... Take a second and think about it. I'm not here generalizing about left and right- in fact I'm an independent. I'm talking about facts. The human health risks to living Americans far outweigh any potential economic benefits. Public relations lines like "killing jobs" doesn't hold a candle to actually killing people.

And if I were a congressman, I would vote no to both of those things.

Where did our jobs go?
mrr19601 1 month ago in playlist Uploaded videos
@mrr19601 Yes that would be freedom at its finest. Perhaps it would be a little better to stop regulating, ruling, and taxing to the point the companies have to leave if they wish to remain a viable business. If the government servants would step back and allow the citizens the room to be self responsible, self reliable, self sufficient and gather a little self respect rather than become dependent upon a nanny state, we could get going again...

We have 1 job to do elect Ron Paul!!
Get the government out of the way and let the private sector create the jobs without certain cronies paying our politicians for a leg up.

MrPoliticallyHonest 1 month ago
@MrPoliticallyHonest WE ALL WANT CLEAN AIR AND WATER. and we are all environmentalists...but there are those who would want to tell you how to run your life in every aspect right down to the light bulbs in the sockets (and by the way-those curly chinese ones contain MERCURY!)...and it all boils down to who gets paid what by whom. Ron Paul...can't be bought...food for thought.

Thousands of jobs would not be much help . There needs to be at least 100000s of jobs to make a difference

Dragoon91786 1 month ago
@Dragoon91786 I find it hard to believe that a moderate Republican conservative would buy into that garbage.
MyXxx77 1 month ago
@MyXxx77 have you read Boehner's financial disclosure statement? Read for yourself. The man is speaker and yet invested in numerous investments. It comes down to morality and integrity. AS a republican, I find that reprehensible. I'm a republican of the party of Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Taft and Grant. Men who stood for something--well in Grant's case it was a case of Scotch, but I digress.
Dragoon91786 1 month ago
@Dragoon91786 So because politicians may have legal investments in projects that would greatly benefit the entire country, we should scrap them. Makes a lot of sense.
MyXxx77 1 month ago
@MyXxx77 since we can no longer post links you will need to perform a web search for John Boehner keystone conflict of interest in Google. Click on the whitenoise article which comes up first, then click the link to the full washington post article, then click on the hyperlink to opensecrets dot o r g. You can look on their website to find a laundry list of things Congress does. I'd also suggest reading Lawrence Lessig's book: Republic, Lost. He also is a moderate republican.
Dragoon91786 1 month ago
@MyXxx77 I also wish to apologize for not being a "card carrying" republican. I'm afraid Oregon elections are performed via ballot elections, therefore we are not given "election cards". I do, however, give my $50 tax credit for political activities to the GOP. I just thought I'd let you know that, since you seem to think holding critical views of one's own party is somehow contrary to being an active member. Just think of me as a "Radical Republican", the kind who liked freeing slaves.
Dragoon91786 1 month ago
@MyXxx77 Ack, "invested in numerous investments", no, he's invested in numerous companies who would profit off of his decisions as Speaker. In other words, A MASSIVE CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Last I checked, holding an active conflict of interest is the very thing that constitutes a lack of moral uprightness. You cannot actively represent the people's interest, while simultaneously stand to benefit from a particular course of action--unless it benefits every American equally.
Dragoon91786 1 month ago
@MyXxx77 I mean by that someone whose children are in public school in a poor neighborhood, and voting to increase public funding. Although, even in that case it would be a conflict of interest. So, it would seem immoral on any account to act if you would personally benefit. Family and friends may count as a conflict too. The facts are we don't need elites in Congress, but the common citizen of the polis. 'Common' does not have to be stupid or ignorant, however.
Dragoon91786 1 month ago
@Dragoon91786 I agree, I wouldn't be surprised if more officials, Republicans and Democrats have money into this project. Crony capitalism is the worst corruption.

@jebduke1 Look at the damage caused when speculators caused the price of wheat to go up. Millions in Africa starved to death, all so some traders on Wall Street could make a quick buck. That is disgusting and economic genocide. I've always been a moderate Republican Conservative, and last I checked murder wasn't a Constitutional right. In 1787 they put speculators in the stockades or prison.
Dragoon91786 1 month ago
@jebduke1 As for the price of crude, thank Congress for that one for allowing Speculators. If we removed them the price would drop by more than half. But, Congress gets lots of money from people selling futures vs actuals.
Dragoon91786 1 month ago
@jebduke1 I'm a conservative and Am looking at the economics, just the long term economics. We'd be better served to build our own, but the Canadians won't let us because they want to sell us their oil. Therefore, why should we let them build a pipeline, especially a cheap one over our largest aquifer? Economically, that's stupid.
Dragoon91786 1 month ago
We need to start writing Congress ala mass.
Dragoon91786 1 month ago
@jebduke1 That's true, but those lines are highly regulated, and were built with better materials, thicker pipes, running at a lower pressue. These people lobbied Congress & the Canadian parliament to increase the flow pressue above standard practice while lowering the pipe thickness. Normally, you do the opposite. These people are only out for money.

I'm not here generalizing about left and right- in fact I'm an independent. I'm talking about facts. The human health risks to living Americans far outweigh any potential economic benefits. Public relations lines like "killing jobs" doesn't hold a candle to actually killing people.
