Holy shit ive been looking for geo tracker plow videos. Finally found a few! Looks good man i thought about putting a plow on my lil tracker for driveways lastyear.
Hey buddy good on ya, just looking around to fit my '94 Tracker with a 72" plow. I'm thinking of going cheap with no hydrolics and the up and down motion with a winch and winch bumper ... any good suggestions?
I suggest you pick up an older commercial blade, Meyer, Fisher, etc... as they're very rugged. A winch will work fine for up and down motion, only problem is that it creates kinks in the steel line. I'll post up a vid with more details of my setup, if it can help.
my friends dad uses a tracker to plow snow here in newfoundland and he can push ALOT of snow and his driveway is about 200-300 feet long with a 60'x80' parking lot on top
awsome, trackers are often under-rated. i love my 04 v6 tracker, perfect combination of gas mileage/power and off-road/on-road capabilities

Awesome. I always wanted to do this to the trackers i had over the years.

I'm not pushing the snow on anyone's lot, the street is the city of Montreal's property and it's legal here to stack the snow on its sides.

pushing snow across the road and onto the neighbours property will get you a big fine in the states

Very cool. I'm setting up my sidekick with a plow this week, you're video goes to show a sidekick is alot more than an ATV with heat

Thanks. Keep in mind that the locked rear diff helps a lot, but even open it should plow fine as long as you have decent snow tires.

@smokey2000000000 what kind of plow did you eventually get? I've got a tracker and am thinking about buying a plow.

nice set up is that snow chains in the back 2? whats it in 4 low? i know geos dont need to work that hard 2 push snow!

Chains in the back indeed.. Maybe a bit of an overkill, given that the rear diff is locked. I'll try to plow without them this winter and we'll see.
I plow in 4 Low, as it's easier to maneuver in tight spaces and I'm never in a rush anyways (I only do two driveways, mine and neighbours..).

I only to this driveway, the one to the garage and the neighbours. I prefer 4 low for slow maneuvres. For a bigger lot, I'd go 4hi.

did you change the suspension any?

2" coil spacers, that's all.
Surprisingly the front doesn't bottom out on the bumpstops with the blade lifted, and it doesn't sag much neither.

Could you do my drive way?

Impressive, That is a good ammount of snow for a tracker to be pushing.
