Those surveys and statistics are so far off. They give stats on blk men and those might be somewhat accurate, but they never give those same stats on blk women. How many blk women dont have degrees, how many have multiple kids, how many are making 30k plus, and so many other things. In my area there are a few shipyards. Alot of guys working there dont have degrees, but they make dam good money and most have families, spouses and are productive members of society. Are they ineligible to?

None of these surveys should be held as credible. The issues confronting black male/female relationships could never be captured in or expressed in survey questions. Our community has so many unaddressed issues like self hate, lack of self respect, lack of self reliance, no sense of cultural direction, etc. that the results of a survey like the one discussed here only causes more division. In reality the dating pool for the average black woman is so small, because they make it so small. And it has nothing to do with lack of successful black men. Because, I see plenty of stereotypical non achieving black men who are highly sought after by black women. While many of the highest achieving black men are excluded from the dating pool as you eluded to by black women themselves. Then when other races of women date these perfectly normal high achieving guys black women get offended.
