@iSWAGGERED You first need to join the YouTube Partner program. Then on your YouTube account, on your channel page, you'll see 'branding options', and that's where you can upload a logo that will appear above all your YouTube videos.
Thanks for this tut. But I have a question, I wanna show this logo I made as my Title, just like you did, it says GuerillaBill in yellow, how do you show the logo there?
@UnicornProductionsUC That logo option is enabled at YouTube if you are member of the YouTube Partner program. The option is found under the channel branding options. I have a video on my site at bmyers com that shows how to do it.
Hey Bill, I also was needing a little help if u don't mind..Ive got Photoshop elements 7. Im trying to make graphics with no background for my web page..I also do as u say and when I upload to my site it still had a background..is there something Im messing?....
Actually for most of the things I do, PhotoShop Elements is the better tool. Easier to use, has most of the features of PhotoShop, and costs 1/5 as much as full blown PhotoShop.
These are really great tutorials. Thanks for posting, I'm very new to PE and your giving me all kinds of neat stuff to mess arond with. THANKS!

@Glen678Music Yes, if you send an image as an email attachment, it can be used by the person receiving the email to upload from their computer.

To keep the transparency, you either have to save as transparent gif or transparent .png
guerillabill 2 years ago
Bill,
Great tutorial.
Need a little help though.
The inserted image from from clipart isn't transparent even after following all the steps you provide.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Mark

Be sure to choose transparent background as shown at :48 in video.
Be sure to save as .png to preserve transparency as shown at 5:40
guerillabill 2 years ago
Did exactly as described.
The logo it self shows transparency it is the white space from the clipart image that is still showing.
followed the same steps as in tutorial - used the magic wand > edit > delete - that works but still shows white around the image.
Sorry to take up your time and thanks again,
Mark

where do you upload the actual picture into on the website? the public folder, describe where?
dean25800 2 years ago
Depends on your web host. But in most cases, just load it into the main folder for the web site - public_html or something similar.
Then enter the url to the graphic as uploaded into that folder into SMF or whatever program you are using.
guerillabill 2 years ago
FTP the graphic to your web site. Then to check its location, enter the url where the graphic should be.
If you don't find the graphic at the url, it will not show on your site.
Find the correct url of the graphic, and enter that on your site.
guerillabill 2 years ago
To get the logo onto the web, use FTP to upload to your web site.
Then as shown at 6:18 in the above video, enter the URL of the logo, based on where you ftpped it to, into SMF
