  • The second tune was written by Jimmy Mortimer the first p/m of the Royal Burgh of Stirling pipeband.

  • St. Andrews piping teacher!!! oh yea!!!!!!!!

  • wonderfull sound

  • Great piper, great sound for youtube! You have a good mic.

  • superb piper! excellent!

  • Yes. Try blowing yourself and see what happens

  • when he blows air his neck inflates, is this normal with pipers?

  • No hahaha

  • yes it is, specially with harder reeds. with new reeds, it tends to accompany with a massive drool followed by the flatulence of a giving lip. I hate new reeds (until they break in.)

  • @CapoeiraPiper That drooling and leaking air through the lips tends happen to me. (I am a beginner) will it happen less overtime?

  • @piper102206 yup. your lip muscles will build up within a month. keep playing almost everyday, and don't forget to take breaks when they start to give out.

  • yes

  • uhm no. he probably had surgery to cheat his air flow. i wouldnt doubt it, not that theres anything wrong with it. just seems risky to do.

  • it happens to some... not all

  • OH....MY....GOD!!! This man is a national treasure unto himself! I have never heard any piping as good as what I heard tonight!

  • His "Pipes Ready" and "Pipes Up" videos are great.

  • Have 2 sets of Kron pipes.. 2006 1A Heritage and 1999 1A Standard

  • If any of you want to know, that bagpipe is a David Atherton Bagpipe modeled after an antique Henderson Jim played for quite a long time. One of the best pipemakers in the world, David also makes a set modeled after a McDougall bagpipe, one of the best sets ever made.

  • Don't forget Dave's former partner in the business, Charlie Kron. I worked with those two back when they were both in New York. Dave's in Chicago now, isn't he? Do you know him well?

C.E. Kron and Company is the name of that little shop, if anyone is interested in contacting Kron.

  • wondeful bagpipe, great player, pleasure to listen to.
