Hey Captain Shane, I've been a happy subscriber of your videos for some time now. You never cease to amaze, especially when you fish with the gators! Do you know what the bass fishing is like in Kissimmee around Christmas time? I will be taking a trip to that area in late December and would like to know if would be worth my time to give it a try! Thanks again for all of the great video footage.
@GodsGreatOutdoors Steve, are you taking your boat or renting a boat? Everyone up there told me that winter is the time to be there. Being a resident Florida fisherman.....I can tell you that if a cold front hits the fishing gets TOUGH. I would suggest takeing some shiners or hireing a guide. Or holler at me and i'll give you two exact locations. Notice that most fish caught in same location. Wait till winter/spring...my fishing vids will be off the chain! Thanks for watching.
@captainshane100 - Hi Capt. Shane. I have seen all your videos, and do enjoy watching your adventures. I am fairly new (4 years) to bass fishing, but are trying hard to learn. I have fished Lake Toho several times, but never had much luck. I have tried both artificial and live bait together with my friend. When we fish Toho we never seem to know where to go and try our luck. Would you be kind enough to give us a few tips to where we should go and fish.
@OlziniDK The first thing I do when I know I'am going to a new area is look at Google Earth. This allows me to look at the lay of the land for points, coves, creeks, shallow bars etc.... with this information I create a game plan for the day. Another tip I have is to watch here the local guides and fisherman go. Most of all fish your strong points. If you are a worm guy, then look for those areas that might work in your favor. I'am a frog guy, so I go straight for heavy cover.
@captainshane100 Thank you for the good advice. We like topwater and flipin and pitchin the most. Especially topwater is great. Where would you recommend us to start on the lake. We mostly fished to northern end of the lake, but I have just had a new boat, and we don't my going anywhere on the lake to fish. Where did you do this video? Not trying to steal all your secrets, just grasping for a little help. :-)
@OlziniDK I was fishing in the North end. Put in at Toho Marina. One area was the creek on the west wall...there is a shallow sediment mound out in front of it. Another was the neighborhoods on the east side. I lika a Gambler Big EZ in that lake.
Thanks, terrific video. Did you work with a minnow lure? What's the lure name? Thanks for answering

@MrGrullito I used a Rapala Shad 4-6 foot diving bait. Not sure of the name. The other baits were the Gambler Big EZ. Thanks for watching!
