  • Thanks for all the questions! For now, he isn't for sale. He's looking like he may top 16h so I'm holding onto him as a riding horse. - Summer curls on a bashkir curly are very short and very hard to photograph- particularly low resolution and on a patterned horse! They appear more like a light texturing until the hair grows long enough, in the winter, to curl.

  • omg its so cute!!! imma come in the night and STEAL IT!!!! just kidding...

  • i love the spots lol

  • I'm very interested in him or her.... How much are you asking?

  • Beautiful Horse *________*

  • If its called "curly" where are the curls? Not trolling I swear, I actually would really like to know. Are they just born with curly hides and then it goes normal?

  • @FiestyCat86 Foals have really curly hair and some individual examples of adults are really curly. Mostly look at his mane, there are curls there. The hair in his ears and on his fetlocks will be curly and when his mane fills out his forelock should become curly dreads. Just from what I learnt on an informational vid on em.

  • @GeordieTerrier a friend has one and there entire body the coat is curly well the body itself it wavy and mane and tale makes dreads when i can i will try to make a video :)

  • @bayboysgirl83 I didn't mean that they ONLY come like that, I meant this one that's how you'd tell. There are different degrees of curly in them. Some are heavy curly which looks so weird lol. Others are curly as a baby but as an adult only show as I described before.

  • Beautiful! Breathtaking!!

  • I love you

  • Why did u sell him?

  • Very Handsome very sweet!!! I wish I could own a horse like him, makes me want to cry.......:'(:'(:'(

  • I didnt know Bashkir's could by spotted like that. Is he full or part?

  • @CHEVYedsf Leopard appaloosa...It has some appy in it :)

  • @mijte The owner says that her spotted Bashkirs are full Bashkir

  • @CHEVYedsf hmm..It could be a throwback gene. Every horse comes from a mix of breeds.

  • @CHEVYedsf Thoroughbreds are all descended from three non TB stallions, because of course the breed didn't exist. Why then the emphasis on full or part bred? Either way he's stunning :)

  • @claoufaeng Ok, first off where do TBs come in on all of this? I know very well the history of the origin of many breeds. Secondly, if he's part appaloosa I would want to know, because what if she tried to advertise him as full bred bashkir when in reality he's only part? (not saying that she is doing this at all!) I would only be able to show him as part bashkir instead of full, and he would not be registerable with the breeders association. Not to mention false advertising.. its a big deal

  • @CHEVYedsf TBs were an example of breed mixing, only that.

With the bashkir, I'm sure I've been told a lot of the really curly ones are bred to ordinary horses to get a medium curl, so wouldn't that mean a lot of half-breds passed off as full? I always thought therefore that most bashkirs were half and half and with them, it didn't matter if they were half or full when showing, otherwise half the population of bashkirs wouldn't be able to show. Is this not the case?

  • @claoufaeng Arabs can show as part, so I dont know why it wouldnt be different for bashkirs. If you have a half bred you can't pass it off as full. It wouldnt be able to register it, so no.

  • @CHEVYedsf Righto, cheers

  • hes beautiful i love him

  • Sell to sweden =) love rusty

  • what FANTASTIC COLOR!

  • cuteeeeeeeeeee

  • I want him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So cute!!! :-)

  • @CandyHaasch nah, part dalmation of course!
