I thought the cammer engine never made it to the street(at least my research said it was rumored). My '64 galaxie had the 352 two barrel. I wasn't sure of the mileage but a service sticker on the inside of the drivers side door said oct,'84, 257000 miles. When I owned it I got to see it roll over to all zero's. My mechanic told me from his perspective that my engine was original. That has to be pretty decent for an american v8 that old with that many miles to be running. Galaxies rule!

I know it's still chain driven. Jay has a lexan plate on the passenger side to keep an eye on the tensioner.
