What the hell did they do?! It's blatantly obvious that they used CG on objects that are a bother to animate, like horses, giant crows, armors, ... It would be okay if they were consistent with it, but no, they would switch back to 2D animation when it's convenient. How amazing that nobody cares about this.

@TheRealNoelHo I for that matter am not complaining for the sake of complaining, or complaining about bad CGI. Animation is a for of art, and there are certain rules to it, aesthetics. I agree that animation is story-driven, but in order to bring out that story, you need good art. Otherwise, you might as well go read the script of the movie.

@Rethardus true, the art style is different, has loads of CG and we are not used to it. But it still looks pretty awesome. I think most people are just so used to re-watching the original anime so much so that the are biased against this new animation. I think it looks pretty close to the manga. Then again, thats just my opinion =)

@TheRealNoelHo I didn't even watch the original. It just catches my attention, how different the CGI is in comparison with the 2D. If you didn't notice, it's a blend of 2D and 3D in this very own trailer. They should be more consistent with it. A good example of 2D and 3D blending would be Ghost in the Shell or Soul Eater. But this... This is too obvious.

it would be awesome if they could do everything in 2d but use CG to fill in the missing frames so that all the 2d animation is buttery smooth instead of using full CG for those scenes ;-)

@TheRealNoelHo im@s is a game where you play the role of a young gravure idol's manager (producer) so she can become top idol. It's an extremely addictive game, no wonder why Miura got so hooked on it.

I think Berserk fans are starving for something new, so another golden age adaptation isn't the right way to go in my opinion. The movie should present what happened after the events of TV series.

I agree it would serve the fans better to continue where the anime left off, but i guess they wanted to ensure the success of the new movies. They are guaranteed viewers from the existing fan base, and by starting with the GA arc, they were probably hoping to expand the fan base too. If it goes well, they have said they will do the whole series! =)

I personally dont mind as long as they do a good job of it. =)

最高の映像世界ですね！城攻めに合戦シーンどれを取っても抜かり­­なく製作陣の本気度がビシビシ伝わってくる迫力映像です。声優­陣­は少し心配しましたが、これも慣れでしょうし全然悪くない。­上映­時間は２時間、欲を言えば３時間は欲しいところです。

平沢さんの音楽は１００％必要不可欠だしAIさんもいいですね～­­。作品の暗さ不気味さが出るのは蝕と断罪篇以降でいいと思って­ま­す。何たって黄金なんですから明るくないと～笑。

サーガプロジェクト出来れば作品の完結まで製作されて欲しい、同­­時進行なのか千年帝国のグリフィスの映像もあったから早い段階­で­パート２、３も公開されるのか期待は高まるばかり。後はベル­セル­クファンが更に増えて観客動員数がドカンと上がってくれれ­ば文句­なし。もっとたくさん宣伝すれば話題性も出て、検索数も­増える気­がするんだが・・・汗。
