A spectacle!!! The only negative thing I can say i, "There should ve many more team efforts for these two incredible bands". To the 48 who disliked it: How? Despite my own personal affinity for licorice, anchovies, olives, etc., I can understand how one might find these disagreeable. This 8 minute video? Disliking this video is incomprehensible to me. You're either deaf or you have really poor taste in...probably everything, now that I think of it.
What a voice ! So soft and powerfull at the same time ! My band White Note tried a cover of "Teardrop" from Massive Attack, you can watch it by typing "White Note teardrop" in youtube's search engine. Enjoy :)
This blows my mind, especially since Risingson is my favorite song. It would be funny to hear 3D sing "Give me a reason to be a woman" tough...and also kinda awkward.
@usernameemata Well, good for you ! I just had a massive portishead attack ! It could sound hurtfull but in fact it feels great ! ... did feel like 8mn38 went by !... too short...
@onenewmurderer massive attack invented radiohead's sound?? hmm... that's a bit far-fetched, like saying a cup of tea invented cheese on toast. it's not like Blue Lines (1991) was the blue print for Pablo Honey (1993). i agree to the extent that trip hop in general seems to have had an influence on a small number of Radiohead beats, like Airbag and Climbing Up The Walls, but more so i thought Kid A influenced Massive Attack's 100th Window, with its electronically mangled vocals. who knows though
@bachelorfox well not their sound over all, but influence takin from bands like portishead and massive attack is clearly visible on their later albums. i think you know what i mean. I love radiohead and all, but massive attack are by far superior to me.
The amount of bollock yoghurt that would have come out of me if I was at this gig would be insane. I can't help but find Beth stunningly attractive too, especially with that voice of hers, and the vibe she has. Fucking brilliant.
