I like Peter luger and chris Ruth's. it's hard to compare the steaks and the taste because Peter Luger use Porterhouse while Ruth's uses Filet Mignon. However i've had better filet mignon steak than Chris ruth's and i've never had a better porterhouse steak than Peter luger's.
a better filet mignon than chris ruth's is in Atlantic City's Burgatta casino steak house called Gallagers. Oaks is also a good steakhouse and it's also in Atlantic City.
Marilyn Spira owns Luger's and gets the best meat in the city. the place is basically a dump but the porterhuse steaks are the best. The only comparable place is Wolfgang's. Wolfgang was the headwaiter at Luger's and gets the same quality meat. Dry aged is the best.
well dinner for two including appetizers and drinks is about $115... considering it's one of America's best steakhouse (and by far NYC's best) that is really not expensive compared to other places-
Their meat is of much higher quality. Also, I've never paid 80 bucks for a polo with an alligator on it. Also, just because a diamond is a diamond, does that justify a high price? Everyone knows that Peter Luger has the best meat. There is no need to insult me just because you're too poor to eat there.
