In the original Greek His claim is even more clear, and the original Greek of Philippians 2:5,6 also demonstrates that He was God (the Son) and man. He prayed to the Father as the Son. Not a problem if you know the Bible and sound Christian theology.

@YoungDiisciple There is no "if" when Scripture clearly says He is God in many places and in various ways. So the issue is what are we seeing in passages like the one you reference. If Jesus was both God and human, it makes sense that while on earth He had limitations, such as needed sleep, food, etc. So this is no real problem for the God-man. He of course knows when He Himself will return. It appears He restricted His own knowledge while on earth, but not after His resurrection.

@90rashad Jesus is called both God and the Son of God in Scripture. So I am not wrong; you are either ignorant of Scripture, or you dismiss Scripture. The Father Himself called Jesus God in Hebrews 1:8. John called Jesus God in John 1:1. Thomas called Jesus God in John 20:28, and what's so powerful in that text is that Jesus pronounced a blessing on those who had not seen, and yet believed what Thomas believed. And what did Thomas believe? That Jesus was both his Lord and God.

@patcol82 In John 1:1 Jesus is called "The Word" who was with God (the Father) and also was God. We know Jesus is in view because when we get down to verse 14, it says "The Word" became FLESH and dwelt among us, and the rest of the passage confirms it is Jesus. Apostle Thomas calls Jesus "Lord and God" in John 20:28. There are more passages, but only one is needed to know the truth. Jesus is God. There is no question about it.

The Father is called God (Phil. 2:11), the Son is called God (John 1:1; 20:28) and the Spirit is called God (Acts 5:3,4). We don't have three gods but ONE (Deut. 6:4); thus since the three have ONE name (Matthew 28:19), it is simple: God is a Trinity. Yah said "Let US" (more than one) create man in "OUR" image (Gen. 2:26,27). God is triune.

The Isrealites in Isreal today even admit that they are not the chosen Isrealites, plus they don't match up with the curses that were put upon the biblical Isrealites.(Deuteronomy 28:45-68). If Jesus was both God and human, it makes sense that while on earth He had limitations, such as needed sleep, food, etc. So this is no real problem for the God-man. He of course knows when He Himself will return. It appears He restricted His own knowledge while on earth, but not after His resurrection.

The Father Himself called Jesus God in Hebrews 1:8. John called Jesus God in John 1:1. @patcol82 In John 1:1 Jesus is called "The Word" who was with God (the Father) and also was God. We know Jesus is in view because when we get down to verse 14, it says "The Word" became FLESH and dwelt among us, and the rest of the passage confirms it is Jesus. Apostle Thomas calls Jesus "Lord and God" in John 20:28. There are more passages, but only one is needed to know the truth. Jesus is God. There is no question about it.

Yeah in Deu 28 it discusses the laws but it also discusses what would happen to the brews if we disobeyed Yah...And all of those things happened...Leviticus 26 also discusses what happened to the Real Hebrews. i don't see anything in the bible about the Holy trinity..It don't say nothing about Christianity or any religion as a matter of fact, it teaches a way of life, and keeping the laws.

@Amorayah It does not matter how many books are taken out of context or misread. The Bible as a whole teaches the doctrine of the Triinity. The Father is called God (Phil. 2:11), the Son is called God (John 1:1; 20:28) and the Spirit is called God (Acts 5:3,4). We don't have three gods but ONE (Deut. 6:4); thus since the three have ONE name (Matthew 28:19), it is simple: God is a Trinity. Yah said "Let US" (more than one) create man in "OUR" image (Gen. 2:26,27). God is triune.

The Isrealites in Isreal today even admit that they are not the chosen Isrealites, plus they don't match up with the curses that were put upon the biblical Isrealites.(Deuteronomy 28:45-68). The moden day "Isrealites" and "Jews" are some of the most welthiest people in the word. The term Christian tends to mentally lock a person into a religious mold and limits the reality of the truth about the Kingdom.

@musicamw23 Your research is not credible. The curses in Deuteronomy are NOT absolute because they are contingent on DISOBEDIENCE. People have misread that passage very badly trying to FIND people in the text that are not there. The term Christian was NOT derogatory. You have no credible sources claiming this. There is nothing wrong with the term, since both Paul and Peter used it of themselves and other believers with approval.
