OMG!! This song brings back so many memories of my father!! He loved Glen Gray and this is one of his favorite songs!! It takes me back!! Thanks for posting it!! Loved it!!
As an 89 year old has been I can tell you that back as a teen ager nothing beat listening to the big bands on radio. I had a great collection of 78's and glen gray was one of my favorites on Decca. He originally recorded a song called "I'm Free" which later on became better known as "What's New". I would love to hear his instrumental version once more.
Hi Jen, I found the full movie in my usenet service. Hard to explain what that is, but I find a lot of films in there. I will watch this one in about a week. My little neice loves these films.
I think it's wonderful you are exposing your nieces to classic pieces from the past... Everyone loves the story of Alice, especially little girls - we all want to be Alice while we watch it.
Ow yes, she is my little 5 year old buddy :) Little Red head with blue eyes. She loves those films. Right now she has a cold, and so do I lol! Every time she gets one and comes over here, she spreads it around, but ow well shes fun to be around. I never had kids so its fun watching her grow up and change. Hope all is well with you!
Clarence Hutchenrider is the amazing clarinet soloist that you hear on this record.
