There are many kit manufacturers, New Balance/Warrior is just one of many. Any club would accept twice as much sponsorship from another kit manufacturer. Furthermore Adidas did bid for the new contract. Unfortunately, Warrior outbid them.

Not so sure on the kit designs, they are too historic for my liking. I say historic, the red, white, yellow idea reminds me of a Candy paints sponsored kit back in the day. As for the stadium, the second one looks like Anfield more, which is a good thing, the one they are going to build looks too much like any other typical stadium now-a-days, and looks a little too much like the Wembley arch.
