Alagna is the wonderful singer and actor!

For Gheorghiu voice I think that her voice is very sharp and hard at all, and for Carmen even.

Tous les deux chantent très bien, c'est dommage qu'il y ait une distance entre eux deux contrairement à la vidéo "La fleur que tu m'avais jetée" :/ . On a vraiment l'impression que ce sont des solos à l'état pur.

Peut être que c'est à cause du "pupitre personnalisé" de Angela? (D'ailleurs, pourquoi elle a un pupitre et pas lui?). Est-ce qu'ils étaient en froid à ce moment là ou ne sortaient pas encore ensemble? Sinon, très belle vidéo :)

Gheorghiu is great.

Alagna strained his voice and a process similar to Carreras happened: his top range tends to spread and the voice becomes stiff.

Same mistake as Carreras and DiStefano.

Smoldering! Carmen isn't a good role for her......but AWESOME chemistry!

Well, her voice is not badly suited for Carmen, although I would have preferred a little more emotion. And she lacks the coquetterie of Carmen.

IMO Carmen isn't a role for Gheorghiu, but she manages to sing the role very well, since she's a great artist. Her lyric voice shows more of its sheer beauty in other roles, but her Carmen is credible and she's good throughout a very large range. Her dramatic commitment is also excellent for a concert performance. In general I don't like Alagna's voice, but Don José is an excellent role for him and he sings it quite well, but his singing doesn't move me a lot.
