Excellent soundtrack and a great childhood fantasy film the best ever made. To me this film is Neverending in my mind. The characters, the plot, the scores, the title name, etc. I can't imagine a film be ever produced similar to this but I sure am glad that Germany made this film. I can't imagine any other way for this film to have been done than the way it was released. Amazing and solid cinema masterpiece!!

i would have loved having a book with such a cover when i was a kid. ok, i respect, but still don't understand why some adult people think children are dummies, the story is so inspirational, even the book's cover make kids think that there's a realm which dies as we "grow up" and that symbolism should be understood, personally i think it's true, and that's what a kids movie is all about: inspiration and fantasy, dreaming. plus, the music is simply unforgettable, not so with today's stupid films

the author of the fantastic story is Michael Ende. He came from germany, died 28. august 1995. he is counted as the most successfull author in germanys history, and is most known for "The Never Ending Story" and "momo"

I'd say he's average height, short brown hair (he had it kinda spiky when I saw him at the convention ^^), his voice sounds young, and he's just totally different looking then Atreyu (I guess cause he doesn't have the long hair anymore), he's such a nice guy too :)
