  • This was produced before kanye turned into an egotistical cunt flap.

  • I love almost all these early R&B soul raps and beats of Kanye's, but I also love alot of his newer "more mainstream" dance tracks and dark/introspective songs. It's called artistic evolution, someone this talented can't be restricted to one sound always and in my opinion has done great in almost all sound's he's tried.

  • "back when kanye used to be good" ??? wtf?

  • ALL KANYE WEST ALBUMS > ALL ALBUMS OF ANY ARTIST.. well maybe not the beatles... yeah.. kanye for me anywayz

  • @BoHoVsGolf

    beatles aren't better than Coltrane

  • Graduation > MBDTF > 808's > College dropout > Late Registration

No one admit that graduation s kanye's best albulm because it is his most sucessful album

  • @ghgyy1 Commercial success doesnt mean tat an album is better. In 10 years people will remember MBDTF as a classic, but not Graduation.

  • @maxibhoy no your wrong what i'm saying is that graduation actually IS a classic but no one admit it because it also had commercial success

  • Cant rate it because All of kanye's stuff is awesome

  • MBDTF>Graduation>WTT>College Dropout=Late Registration>808's

  • @MichealOwen07 Spot on

  • It's hard to rate Kanye's albums cause they're all so sick and unique!

  • can someone tell me which album this is from please?

  • the preachers wife dont give head, get a devorse man ,the kids they be callin you the headless horseman, like, sleepy hollows. . . seee she swallows. Kanye was A DON b4 he hooked up with devils lieutenant in the rap division GAY-Z

  • @Hornovafrika nah he wasnt the leader of a mafia family hes black

  • College Dropout > late registration > Graduation = MBDTF > 808. College dropout is by far the best one.

  • "the preacher's wife don't give head get a divorce man, the kids been calling you the headless horseman!"

  • i loved 808's . . . .

  • Where's the woman's voice from?

  • All kanyes music is great, regardless of the albums

  • only three kings of rap Kanye, Yeezy, Mr. West

  • LR Is damn good. My god fuck it. I like them all!

CD LR and Fantasy are hard to rate above one another.

    Graduation is under both.

Then 808's, not bad, some real nice songs, but just wasn't the same.

  • back when he was good>? everyone changes name 1 artist that didnt change.. most change from good to bad he changed in a good way but i have to admit he was a beast back then... even eminem changed good to bad :/ my opinion tho

  • this doesn't sound like kanye wtf this is someone else rapping his song

  • @TheUnexpressable ok no maybe i lie. he just sounds different

  • it's common sense that college dropout and late registration are ye's best work

  • graduation was kanye's best album

  • MBDTF > College Dropout = Late Registration > Graduation > 808s

not saying 808s is bad, its just the weakest of his catalog

  • @NPMafiaSanta Hmm, not bad. I'd still have to say

College Dropout > (All others combined) but album by album,

    College Dropout > Mixtape Songs > Late Registration > MBDTF > Graduation > 808's

  • @jet0l19 he's stepped up his lyricism and production skiills big time since college dropout. the only thing that is different is the content on each album, so its impossible to say which is better. it all really comes down to which one you can connect to the most..i love them all but my favorites are graduation and mbdtf

  • @jet0l19 I think that that's pretty much right except MBDTF ≧ Late registration; Watch the Throne is the Weakest

  • @jet0l19 What album is this from?

  • @jet0l19 MBDTF above graduation hmmmmmm

  • anyone that thinks MBDTF is kanye's best album, I challenge you to name one song on it that can stand with the likes of Hey Mama, Jesus Walks, Never Let Me Down, Diamonds, We Major, Through the Wire, Slow Jamz etc. Nothings wrong with Kanye's new stuff, its just not on the same level. Stop buying the hype.

  • @DM0ney69 MBDTF is prob his worst CD, in my opinion. Production is pretty good, but lyrically it has almost no substance. I'm with you on that, just cuz Kanye told us it was a good cd, doesn't mean it is

  • @kstroe dude your in the minority on that one.

  • @vice2vursa

The shit you hear on top 40 is popular with the majority. Just because an opinion is popular with the majority doesn't give it value

have you heard any of the songs i mentioned besides the radio hits? (jesus walks, through the wire)

if not check them out. kanye was the man.

  • @DM0ney69 kanye was an STILL is the man but anyways by that logic, what makes college dropout different? is your musical taste somehow superior to everyone elses, come on, dont give me that bullshit. obviously influence plays a part in whats valuable entertainment wise in our society. I do believe that their is a standard of value that goes beyond mere opinion but without that, that value does not exist. i personaly think mddtf was a much more powerful album, but cd had 2 of kanyes BEST songs.

  • @DM0ney69 when claiming one is a the better album, are we going by ratio of good songs or the power of the individual songs. cause honestly while I think cd has jesus walks which I think is his best song, I still think mbdtf has more powerful songs. if you take the best 5 from cd and the best 5 from mbdtf. the 5 on mbdtf would make up the better list in my opinion.

  • @DM0ney69 runaway, lost in the world, blame game, power, all of the lights, gorgeous, and hell of a life kill the majority of songs on their. the best one though is jesus walks, through the wire is tied with power and blame game. the production though is what really sores mbdtf over the rest though.

  • @DM0ney69 The individual songs may not have topped it, but I'm talking the album as a whole.

  • @NPMafiaSanta hmmm im going to say Graduation > college dropout > late registration > Watch the throne > MBDTF> 808's

  • @newfieflames yeah these niggas don't know how shitty MBDTF and 808 is jeeez

  • @nigfriedchicken really? the production on MBDTF is bar far the best of his entire catalogue. That album is beautiful

  • @mundie33 It's disgusting. Nothing like Kanye at all. Get lil wayne, trey songz or some other sell out to do that shit. Too bad Kanye went for it too.

  • @nigfriedchicken LOL youre crazy MBDTF is classic and had some of ye's best rapping and all the features were on point even rick ross did his thing

  • if you dont think 808s was a good album youre a fucking retard

  • @alex4011 album was garbage learn what good music is.

  • I love Ye like a father, but the chorus was originally used by DMX, gotta give X some credit for it.

  • Kanye lol Biggs crazy

  • Kanye>Emienm

  • @ElHajjMalikElShabbaz

Those top ten hits just proove it's whack

Real hip hop doesn't need fame

  • REAL hip hop. Needs more scratching.

  • fuck this guy he said wen kanye used to be good kanyes great ann always will bee

  • "Back when he used to be good" too bad if you've "got your feelings hurt"

He just knows how to attract the masses whether they're attracted by his music or not. And so much impact without even collabing on a half assed dance/house song singing lame bridges :p

Taylor Swift incident? He was just the same with his expression about George Bush, just expressing himself. But of course nobody was bothered about that.

People being ignorant maybe just "have titty's under they're shirt".

  • Are you a retard "back when he was" he's still fucking immense his lyrics are beast, n because he may have changed his music style bit don't me he's not good any-more you just my not like that type of music.

  • You didn't like his new album? I think he gets way too bad of a rap for 808's. Yeah it was not even near the level College Dropout , Late Registration, or Graduation had set for 'Ye, but is there something wrong with wanting to branch out and try different things? Everyone has an opinion, but I think he bounced back just fine with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Always a Kanye fan!

  • @OHIOPRIDE89 On top of that, the style he made with 808's got re-done by many hiphop/rap artists with the distorted voice for instance. Always a Kanye fan

  • @FunkS0ulBr0tha, exactly. I like your thinking!

  • kanye is still good. he was never a hardcore thug rapper or a low key dealer/rapper. he was ye and people love that about him.

  • your right back when he used to be good,NOW HIS BETTER THAN GOOD!!

  • haha your a dumbass you got your album order wayyy wrong. 808s is last no doubt and college dropout is the best.

  • His first mixtapes were gold. I loved him. I'll always be a fan, even though he's on that Katy Perry shit on the radio. I liked the raw emotion he used to have, now he let all this fame, fashion, and fuckery get to his head.

  • wich album is this?

  • @ElHajjMalikElShabbaz The Numbers make it even whacker

  • Ok come on now guys 808's was pretty good, Graduation was pretty good, Late Registration was amazing, and MBDTF was also a classic but there is no way in hell that they are better than the college dropout. I am a serious kanye fan, he is my all time fave and i have to say that college dropout has kinda changed my life. The thing about college dropout is that it is not really a popish kind of rap album its more so for the hiphop heads like me. lots of people have called the album of the decade

  • THE COLLEGE DROPOUT......6 MICS.

  • i feel like kanye has three instant classics based just on the strength of the songs (MBDTF, LR and CD). which shows how legit he is. graduation was amazing because it cemented kanye in pop culture and at the top of rap. and then he showed he can still go left with it and do something different with 808's. all of them are awesome. without kanye, 50 cent and G-Unit would probably still run rap. he opened the door to mainstream success for people who werent gangsta rappers (drake, kid cudi, lupe)

  • He is a Genius...1 of the best artists ever...and not only rapper.

    Awsome producer.

IMO, MBDTF is his best album, Graduation in 2nd Place, 808's in 3rd, C.Droppout at 4th place, and LR on to the last position.

Now with or without auto-tune, old school or new school, this guy is different, which is pretty much enough.

  • @DreamClassAcademy if you think 808's was better than the college dropout, something is wrong with you. Everyone is entitled to their opinion...EXCEPT YOU!

  • @jet0l19 It won't be a surprise for everyone that knows me....

808's is not money maker album... songs like street lights, love lockdown, heartless, are just...amazing... Sad songs are part of me, and this guy actually gives auto-tune a good use. I'm his fan, so I don't really care which album is better all of the 5 are awsome. Now College Dropout came out and I didn't knew who Kanye was, the 1st song I knew from Him was Gold Digger and then stronger. IMO College D. is flowless comparing with G

  • @jet0l19 i think 808's was better too, 1,LR 2,808s 2, MBDTF 3, Grad 4, CD

  • @jet0l19 Yeah fuck Kanye for doing something he wanted to do! It's not like he lost his mom and longtime girlfriend around the same time and use music to cope.

  • @jet0l19 no need to freak out about it, nut job

  • @jet0l19 Ya i think this guy has been hitting the bong way too hard. You actually have to be brain dead to think 808's was better than anything kanye put out.

  • @jet0l19 agreed. his best two albums are his two first, i think most people will agree to this. and if they dont, they need to get their ears checked!

  • @ketchyshubby so your saying that Graduation and MBDTF are crap,"p.s 808's and heartbreak was a 7/10"

  • @jet0l19 im sorry ima let you finish...but uhh 808's and Heartbreak was the best album of all time #KanyeInterruption lol

  • @jet0l19 naw homie somethign is wrong with u

  • @jet0l19 and better the last recognation? he got no tast

  • @jet0l19 mbdtf is better than college dropout and808s is better than graduation.

  • @jet0l19 haha too funny

  • @jet0l19 they are all on an equal plane to me. Everyone hates on 808s, but just dont understand how deep that album really was

  • @jet0l19 Some people appreciate all of kanye, not just the rap.

  • @DreamClassAcademy seriously best artist ever? i think you meant in hip hip? and even than you are soooo wrong. slick rick.tribe, krs one, mf doom, de la soul, run dmc.... newer... biggie smalls, tu pac, jay z, mos def, talib kwali, eminem, and thats just hip hop but you said best artist ever? we wont even talk about bob dylan, the beatles, the stones....

  • Comment removed

  • @ShookOnesTO Sorry, Yes Hip Hop, Beatles, stones, Mj, that's a whole other story, but anyway, I listed to every kind of music, that's why I like 808's. In the other hand, hip hop is my life, and I know ALL those rappers, but everybody has there favourites, and honestly, Eminem and Kanye are the 2 best rappers. Kanye is underrated compared to Eminem, but Kanye is really creative, if not one of the best artists, at least a different artist.

Btw I said 1 of the best artists, not the best.

  • @DreamClassAcademy

fucking kill yourself....obviously DEAF if you think MBDTF is his best album...the fuck outta here

  • @DreamClassAcademy No way, Late Registration is the best in his catalogue.

  • @DreamClassAcademy You must think Wiz Khalifa is better than Jay Z too. Because your WHACK to say Late Registration is his worst album.

  • @uzazex Lol not going to answer your ironical question. But here's mine: How can you decide which of 5 masterpieces is the best? That's how I think, since his mixtapes to MBDTF, everything, EVERYTHING is DOPE, there is at least something DOPE in each album. LR and CD wud kill 808's for true hip hop fans, just look at LR amazings production! But then again, emotionally, 808's was too much strong to a human being let by.

  • whats the sample...i just need to know

  • Comment removed

  • @JayWhiss he's only had one classic album. The College Dropout. You could mayyybbeee make a case for his most recent album as being classic as well. His other albums all had good songs, but weren't classic albums. And when I'm talking classic I'm talking College Droupout, Illmatic, Revolutionary Vol. 2. Real classics. I would say he's the best mainstream out right now by a long shot though.

  • @jet0l19 Late Regristration is almost on the same level as College Dropout, may be considered classic too. Graduation and MBDTF are good too but not 'classic' good

  • @Faguar1 #1 College Dropout .... .... ..... ..... #2 my beautiful dark twisted fantasy #3 Graduation #4 Late Registration this isn't onion, its fact
  • @JayWhiss but kanyes a douche so..

  • I am a huge 'Ye fan, love his old skl shit, love graduation, love 808s and loved mbdtf. He just manages do turn everything he touches into gold.

  • @jackthealligator You loved 808s, or you liked 808s and frequently skipped the first and last tracks? Be honest.

I actually think he's done a lot of overall improvement over the years, the guy that posted this video is just trying to be all latfh about it. hahaha

  • @MarlonOwnsYourCake Yeah, I actually liked 808s. It's not his best but stil so much better than all other rappers.

  • he sounds like 50 cennnt to me so much .

  • I personally think Ye is a much better rapper now, Since College Dropout hid delivery and flow is sky rocketed.

  • is this kanye rapping?

  • back when he used to be dumb dumb he still is good infact great!

  • kanye still has talent, you numb nuts. he's doin it big with g.o.o.d. music.

  • reminds me of destorm...only better.

  • @DreamClassAcademy

    no

    808's and heartbreak is whack!!

  • @juliangott93 the numbers say otherwise...like four top ten hits outta that bitch.

  • this is good. but I like X is coming by DMX better.

  • @ntedrain wtf

  • @ntedrain great, go listen to that then.

  • @ankyismybitch Thanks for your comment, but it's still me who decides to which music I wanna listen to :-)

  • @ntedrain lol so let me get this straight, since i told you to listen to a song that you already like, you feel like you no longer have a choice in what you're listening to?

  • @ankyismybitch no. It's just that you were acting like you got the right to tell me what to listen to.

  • @ntedrain i do have the right to tell you what to listen to, and you in turn have the right to decline...the point was you could have written that comment on any video. what's the point of telling everyone a song that you think is better than the song that you're currently listening to, sure i can go on every video and say "well, this is good stuff, but it ain't hard to tell by nas is just better" but what's the purpose of that comment?

  • @ankyismybitch no. you don't have the right to give me any orders. Just leave a normal comment on mine and I would have accepted that. Something like: "I disagree with that. Kanye's version's better than DMX's". Just say your opinion. Don't tell me what to do and what to leave.

And all I wanted to reach with that comment was to lead people to listen to a similar song and compare.

also, I did not say that the other song is better. It's just my opinion.. I don't wanna force anyone to do anything.

  • @ntedrain man on a less aggressive note, dmx just has the weirdest flow i've ever heard, i have no idea how aries spears can copy that guy

  • @ankyismybitch maybe. I kinda like his music though.

  • @ntedrain lol yeah he's definitely a much better rapper than kanye, but this beat just gets me. the singing thing is such a brilliant sample

  • @ankyismybitch I think most of his beats are brilliant. kanye is good at producing and rapping.

but in my opinion, his first two albums were the best ones. I don't like how he's getting more more into this mainstream lane. And I really don't like him using auto-tune.

Nevertheless, He's one of our century's greatest artists.

  • @ntedrain agreed. :P

  • @ntedrain on the contrary, i gots no beef with the autotune. a true artist cannot and will not continually put out the same shit.. thats lame. At first listen, I wasnt big on 808's, but its grown on me and have some of my fav Kanye tracks on it. You wouldnt like all 5 kanye albums to sound exactly like the first.that would be redundant. I love that he experiments, makes for some different shit to vibe to. Quite frankly, I'll take Kanye at his worst over ur favourite MC at his best..in my opinion

  • @ElHajjMalikElShabbaz First of all: Kanye is my favorite MC and producer. Second: Of course I don't want him to always do the same stuff. I love how he switches styles and I love, for example, almost all the songs on 808's & Heartbreak. The point is that I just love the single songs, not the album as such because if I play my 808s&Hb CD it kind of sounds like always the same song. Always the same style. And that's why I like the first albums better. But well, I just see it in a different way.

  • GOOD music...

  • Can anyone tell me what the singing sample is from?

  • I fuckin love this song!

  • sick beat as always

  • with the exception of 808 everything west is fire

  • I'm in love with the hook haha XD

  • Krazy track Freshmen Audition mixtape as good as most of his albums

  • He wayyy better now, hes just more popular now than he was back then and thats why you dumb ass people hate smh

  • @TGTHAHUSTLA10 ur one of those people that dont know good music why r u even commenting on this track the old kanye is thousands of times better and we need him back ur the dumbass mainstream jockey.

  • @misterrobocop shut up bitch, have you even heard Kanye lately? the whole "Good Friday" series? prolly NOT smh

  • @misterrobocop stop living in the past. "OLd Kanye" LMAO. the nigga moved on and so should you. A true artist wants to be heard by everyone, yes the mainstream, but once hard shit is in the mainstream y'all like to call it 'pop'. If I think I know anything bout West is that he wants to be heard by everyone. Fact is Kanye is as hard as ever. But nevermind what i say, just check his numbers...twisted fantasy is the third best selling album of last year and it was released at the end of the year.

  • @ElHajjMalikElShabbaz this is late but he is definitely losing his main client base "trying to be heard by everyone". He still is a talented artist but he is just trying a music genre that he wasnt in while making beats in the hip hop/rap genre. And the one thing that you dont understand is that just because alot of people who even admit that they dont care what a song is saying as long as they can "dance" to it making a album popular doesnt mean shit.

  • where can I download this mixtape?

  • @CreationsOfBoredom anywhere basically. just google freshmen adjustment rapidshare and find a link. or go to datpiff to be safe

  • ye of course is kanye still good,

but he never get back to this dope shit, now he sounds differently, the voice is very funny, but i still love him

  • Haha "Back when he used to be good"? That's cold...

  • @Cougra139 yea the truth hurts for sure lol

  • @jet0l19 That's no true... Kanye was the best, is the best and will remain the best with "good ass job". However my favourite album is graduation. Anyway "808's and heartbreak" the most hated album is beautiful, just feel the spirit of "heartless".

  • @jet0l19 If he wasnt still "Good" he wouldnt be selling so much. He's still good.

  • @jet0l19 dawg did you listen to MBDTF??

  • @randomstough I did, and I liked it pretty good, IMO it's his best COMPLETE ALBUM since College Dropout but it still doesn't really compare. Most artists have huge drop-offs after their first album

  • @Cougra139 But its true to an extent

  • @Cougra139

after the second album i lost all respect for Kanye

    i totally agree with jet

  • @AZNman11111 df you talkin bout 808's was his only wack album

  • @AZNman11111 Same here. I thought College Dropout and Late Registration were great, but really haven't liked much of what he's done after that. I liked a few tracks on Graduation, about half of Dark Fantasy or whatever, and none of 808s. His talent speaks for itself, but he's pretty inconsistent lately.

  • Kanye's still good. Fuck all the bullshit. He's the best thing to happen to hip hop since 2004. Dude pushes the envelope everytime. Why y'all want him to kick the same old College Dropout shit every release?

  • @Ironman79 exactly.......ppl dont realize that he switches it up, and does it exceedingly well.....he's one of tha greats man.....like no joke....college dropout through graduation was pure bliss...and 808s wasnt bad for an album put together in 2 and a half weeks....for real

  • i listen to music on rhapsody it sucks that they dont have freshmen adjustment on it

  • wats the mixtape freshmen adjustment

  • This song is steezy

  • this song was never realesed

  • kanye west never realeased this song if he did i would be in college dropout

  • @spgpc1 this shit waz off his mixtape b4 tha college dropout. this shit from like 01-02. kanye been crackin 4 a minute tho.

  • wat album is this in college dropout late regristation graduation or 808 heat break its none

  • 0:55-1:00 He rhymes his word with the beat.

  • what album is this song off of, :) please reply

  • @getdabeetrootoot The mixtape Freshmen Adjustment.

  • i just wish he would remember where he came from and do more stuff in the chi, the people would love to see him

  • bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
