  • hey, Rag Ossan's pretty good

  • I wish I could read notes ;(

  • Can you do Bink's Sake? (another One Piece song that is super awesome)

  • @derputsch yes that would be really great :)

  • holy shit this man just went in

  • May I suggest something? You should make all your videos, in a sense, professionalized. Find a studio that will allow you to shoot these videos with a nice piano, get him in a suit, render the videos to be 1080p, etc. This is real talent and has a HUGE potential of grabbing a large audience that will subscribe and come back for more. Anyways, just a suggestion, but keep them coming regardless! Ragtime x VG/Anime music = EPICALLY AWESOME.

  • @Mo0m0oSaZn Tom in a suit? The universe would implode! As much as I'm sure, even after securing the rights, making an album of this stuff would sell like hotcakes, Tom isn't in it for money. He just has fun. This is why he still has a full-time job instead of becoming a professional musician. He doesn't want music to become "work", he has said.

  • @Keeper1st Completely understandable and very respectable! Well, I'll definitely be sharing these videos and spreading the word about Tom and his incredible musicality. Thanks for the uploads!

  • @Keeper1st regardless of profitability, it would be a classy show. i would pay to see him. easily. i could watch his performance for 90 minutes. this is soul. i'm a huuuuge fan. lol.

  • @djstriker91 Well, he does play at ragtime festivals in California and Missouri, in addition to little free appearances around the Sacramento area.

  • @Keeper1st Oh yeah? I live near the Sacramento area! I've gotta take some friends out to see this guy.

  • @djstriker91 One of his regular haunts is the Straw Hat Pizza in Rancho Cordova. I think it's on Wednesdays once or twice a month...? I guess you could call the place and find out.

  • @djstriker91 ...and of course this video was shot in Sutter Creek, just about an hour down the road from you. We have a ragtime gathering there every odd month (except November because of the big ragtime festival in Sacramento), on the second or third Saturday. The Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival web site will have the next meeting date as soon as it is finalized. We're there from about 7 until 11 or so. (Well, I can't make it over from Nevada in the winter or early spring.)

  • @Keeper1st Where in Missouri are the festivals?!

  • @jceggbert5 At the Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts in Columbia -- The Original "Blind" Boone Ragtime & Early Jazz Festival -- next one should be 11-13 June 2012 (their web site domain registration has expired so I'm going by Frederick Hodges' and Adam Swanson's performance calendars, since they also perform there). Telephone (573) 882-3781.

  • @Keeper1st Profits aside. He has inspired huge amount of people in to the amazing world of ragtime piano. I just wish someday to hear all these great songs well recorded and arranged "just like he wants to". If not for money, for the huge inspiration for future generations of pianist ^_^

It would be amazing gift for all.

If i ever come to USA, I'll make everything I can to be able to have a listen to him play ^_^

  • I wish I knew someone like this

  • Hey Mihawk! LET´S GET WASTED !!!

    XD

  • *Plays completely good sounding ragtime* - Oh wait I just accidentally transposed it into a different key in my head, my bad guys.

  • i am death but god damn your music cure my illness

  • This is actually better than the original version!

  • A part of his face is missing! Oh wait...

  • youre piano is good!!!

  • "Oh wait a minute. Wait a minute. I'm in the wrong key."

Made me laugh. I do that all the time when I gloss over the key signature and start reading too fast.

  • dud!! ur so good!! XD

  • amazing where can i find this piano score??????

  • THIS is why i subscribed to you! Awsome!!! And i love one piece =D

  • Amazing!! :O

  • i'd love to drink a bear with all one piece fans right now ! Absolutely great :)

  • Wow, quite impressive. I love One Piece. And this song makes it so much more delightful. If it is possible, can you alert us when you have the sheet music available so we can also learn the music. I am even willing to pay if I have to.

  • fear the beard

  • I love the ending Tom gave this one. Amazing job, as usual!

  • @KitsunejinKitsune Not so much an "ending" as "three additional strains"!

  • YES

    DUDE

    YESSSSS~! :D

  • OMG OM GOM GOM GOM GOM GOM GO MGOMGOM

    SHEET MUSIC???

    OMG OMG ONE PIECEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

    ONE PIECEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

    OMG OMG

  • @ThisIsKuroCat I actually didn't save (or can't find) Ashley's sheet music. I think I only printed it from an email and didn't save it. Hopefully Ashley will make it available. Of course, the score is just the first strain of what you hear here; Tom is making up three extra strains off the top of his head to turn this into a finished rag.

  • @Keeper1st Thanks for the info! And yeah, I noticed that hehe

First the epic song itself & then Tom's epic making-up as usual <3

    Epic Epic Epic !!!

  • Tom should play Bink's Sake.

  • Tom's beard is getting necklier by the day.

  • oh hell yeah, i looked for this song so long on the internet, and now tom, whos channel i subscribed to, plays it, thank you so much :D

  • @Ic3crawler Being subscribed to Tom's channel doesn't really correlate to finding this video on my channel. Actually, from what I can see, you're not subscribed to his channel (he has only eight subscribers, which is more wishful thinking on their/our part since he hasn't posted any videos and I'd be surprised if he did).

  • @Keeper1st i know, but i call your channel "toms channel" because all the videos where you can see him playing are uploaded here

  • @Ic3crawler That's not true. There are plenty of videos of Tom posted by other people too. Mine have just gotten noticed more.

  • You're a beast of piano!!

  • I never cease to be amazed at Tom's ability to compose "on the fly"; incredible!!

  • i love this song!!

    thanks for the video keeper!

  • Behind Chuck Norris' beard may be another fist but behind Tom Brier's is a grand piano being played by by Tom Brier, which also has a beard and another grand piano... and that's the circle of life.

  • A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!

  • He'd sound amazing playing stuff from Charlie Brown!

  • This made my day...SOOOOOOO Much better. I love seeing One piece Related vids in my subscription box. Tom should do more One piece music.

  • i think he's one of the aliens off Men in Black.

  • Tom confirmed for having the Rag-Rag Devil Fruit power.

  • Oh my god, I love this song. Did NOT see this coming. Gotta love One Piece.

  • I think the shininess of his head reflects on how bright he shines with the piano. :)

  • Gotta love the power hidden in his beard.
