Yep... but blocking is still a legitimate tactic. There's no way you open up a room to let your rival pass you. You block to prevent them from passing, especially when the rival behind is faster ie. in boost-on races.
Yeah they can block on the straight ways but when it comes to entering a turn there is always.. a way to cause the blocker.. lol to screw up and leave him or herself open to a quick pass.
But i really dislike people who block if they can't take their turns with their cars.. its not any of our faults they have problems but it is funny.. to see the lack of ability to progress and learn with you're cars:)
yeah there is a way to get around blockers they always block cause they know they can't take you on in the turns
No boost gives the player behind you a large handi cap meaning that player thats more than -10+ behind the other gets a 60% boost in speed you can hit the walls etc and you will not lose speed what so ever...
I've tested it for about 1yr with every car..
It depends if the player sucks or not but with boost... it doesn't matter how badly u suck... you'll always be able to catch up

The 86 has powerful acceleration in gear 4 and 5 and has great turning. The reason the 86 lost was because he had terrible lines. The other guy blocked him 2 times for only a bit. I would call the RX-8s win questionable if the 86 was on his tail the WHOLE time, but there were only 2 parts he was vaguely close to passing.

The 86 sucked... complain if you're behind someone constantly and can't get in front because someone was blocking. The 86 couldn't even keep up most of the time. If the 86 had a better line, he could have kept up and overtaken him in a corner.
The RX-8 was better than the 86. Even if he blocked, the 86 had multiple points to overtake throughout the entire course. The reason why he wasn't able to lead was that his lines were somewhat worse than the RX-8's. If you really hate him that much, challenge him on his home course, not yours.
Yes, I have an RX-8. And no, my win-loss percentage is 7.08%. I'm not making excuses, the other guy used an R32 and the track was wet. I lose by about 300+m...everytime.

Besides, it is still legal and there are still many ways of overcoming blocking itself. You can also observe how the person blocks and adjust to it. There's even a glitch that is in the game.
Besides, if someone battles you in you're home course that is not their specialty at all, that would cause the person to block even more.

If you follow the right line there shouldn't be any blocking because you'll always be ahead...
But if you see the goal of the race and your opponent is trying to pass you, don't just stay in your line and lose, that would make no sense...

The RX-8 was better than the 86. Even if he blocked, the 86 had multiple points to overtake throughout the entire course. The reason why he wasn't able to lead was that his lines were somewhat worse than the RX-8's. If you really hate him that much, challenge him on his home course, not yours.
Yes, I have an RX-8. And no, my win-loss percentage is 7.08%. I'm not making excuses, the other guy used an R32 and the track was wet. I lose by about 300+m...everytime.

I'm not running my mouth at anyone, I'm just saying it through a point of view that the people commenting don't really understand.
Besides, it is still legal and there are still many ways of overcoming blocking itself. You can also observe how the person blocks and adjust to it. There's even a glitch that is in the game.
Besides, if someone battles you in you're home course that is not their specialty at all, that would cause the person to block even more.
