  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn that is OD fast ur guuud

  • nice. look this one i found

    w.youtube.com/watch?v=iZDn9Ne-HmI

  • nice playing :)

Bilan : 6-7/10

  • I played this 2 weeks after i started playing piano.

    Very easy.....

  • @Infenon verbal irony?

  • @Infenon are you putting feelings into it? jsut cuhs its easy doesnt mean that you're great.

  • nice playing.

  • Was a great performance technically, but you may want to incorporate more elements from the romantic era, such as greater leniency in rubato, and more expressive dynamics. remember with this music, it isn't always as it appears on paper, try listening to lots of varying performances. i know how hard this song can be, so keep up the good work!!

  • I think 5:16+ is a really out of tempo. WAIT... it's over?

  • Mon Dieu. Autant dire que je suis en transe.

  • bravo

  • Masterfully played

  • I'm playing this piece too!!!!

  • I think I'm falling in love.

If I can play this piece like you do.. I could die in peace ;-)

  • a little mess-up in the ascending part..

and the middle part... the accents were not in the right place..

    other than that.. thumbs up..

    4 stars

  • Admiro mucho tus videos..,,,me gustaria conocer tus pasiones y pensamientos...

  • you played this quite well..but if i may say, youre playing is a bit too square..not enough rubato..chopin was huge on loosening up in music..im sure youve gotten better by now though...and im sure you know, its supposed to be a little faster..about 168 bpm...i dont mean any harm with this at all..just trying to help..once again, nice job ;)

  • I would beg to differ, from everything that I have read about Chopin I understand that he was quite a fundamentalist. I have read that he would always keep a metronome on his desk or on his instrument.

  • lol, alright..i guess ur right...but me, i prefer the more rubato approach with his music..it just sounds better...to me...but i respect ur ways

    j'adooore

  • pretty good...but you need more practice on it to perfect it

  • someone should kill that stupid person who is giving everyone a "thumbs down" ... some jealous idiot ...

    great playing!

  • Very beautiful playing!

  • WOW Fantastic job on this!!! You are really good!

  • your ejecucion is great ! you are amazing.

  • wow you are great!!!! I play piano too and im only 12 but u are amazing I like the way u started with one hand do u think you can play el Tarantelle by Burgmuller

  • I especially like Valentian Igoshina's performance of this piece. Sounds better than yours, but Igoshina is playing a Steinway grand and it is recorded with professional device. And I'm pretty sure that meanwhile you play as well as she does ;-)

  • bravo!

  • Great job!5*

  • Beau travail !!!

  • Maelle! Fantaisie mon chérie! ;)

  • bravo!

  • Remarquable !

  • that was beuaitufl, girl! learning to play it now, wish to play like you soon!

  • Omg you are a goddess

  • love your music, it's beautiful.

  • love it, sounds beautifull

  • Emocionante!

  • :D

  • Maelle!! Je veux d'autres vidéos!! Please, I want to see more videos :))

    Take care, see you!

  • Random guy walking by the window at 4:12, lol!

  • OorvakanSar, lol lol I never noticed that. Great observation! Sorry to bother you after you wrote this 2 months ago. lol

    She plays wonderfully!

    Excuse my French.

    ( :

  • I would love to hear you play Fruhlingstimmen, as if you had the time; your music is wonderful, thank you again!

  • Beautiful, really when I heart this Chopin a musted learn it

  • Absolutely amazing playing... The speed is incredible

  • you are amaizing!!

  • Hahahaha! look at the window reflection on the piano at 4:12 theres a random walking by! Oh and by the way youre playing is great! you just need to work out the finer details such as dynamics, pedal and you missed a few notes, which im sure are just accidental but great job! (:

  • oh yeah they are people walking outside.. hum... why is it funny ?

  • beautifully played, exceptional talent with tons of energy, thank you for posting!!

  • go hed on with yo bad self well done

  • i feel you should slow it downand make all the notes accurate its a strenuas tune to learn

  • nice! this is definitely one of the harder peices :]

  • no it is not that difficult.

  • ya, the notes are pretty straight forward, but its 3 against 4 almost the entire peice. Then its 2 against 3.

  • this is just one rytmical problem, there's nothing exeptional about other technical demands if you compare it to another chopin's pieces.

  • like what?

  • like for example his ballades or some etudes.

  • I can only do the part from 1:19 to 1:26.

  • alot of were wrong at the beginning.. maybe the stress.. but overall good performance..keep on working on it :)

  • nice job! How did you manage to play the second part of the intro of the song (the part beginning on measure 13 to 18 if you have music)? I've been playing it for a month and got all the other parts, but can't seem to polish this little part.

  • Awesome Job! Love it. How long did it take you to learn?

  • bella pieza

  • The notes are right, but there are no dynamics, maybe the camera. Another thing is the rubato, you have to use rubato here, remember you´re playing chopin!

    Otherwise, this was good

  • pretty good just messed up a little bit at the beginning. heh my piano teacher can play that, I remember she played it at one of our recitals, before she went to chicago to perform. all by memory too.

  • wow -_-^-^ thts awesome i jus subscribed to u hope u dont mind :)

  • You got the notes, but if u added some rubatos and make the dynamics a bit more contrasting, expecially at the beginning, it would sound much better =) and also, dont release the pedal halfway through the chromatic descending scale at bar 35.

  • Girl... if you only lived near me. :( I would sit and watch you for hours with a smile on my face. Are you French?

    J

  • good job!

  • Double check your tempo...make sure it is consistent.

Make this peice breathe...notice where the slurs are, as slurs are like sentences in a peice of writing. I am noticing that many youtube players have this problem; performances sound rushed and do not pay attention to articulation during fast passages.

Some little mistakes here and there as well as some technical problems can be easily fixed with slow practice.

  • coulda add more brillance to this. feel the music!!!!!!!!

  • I JUST watched Yundi Li play this so I couldn't watch more than 10 seconds ;) Good job though!

  • Relax! No need to look so tense, signs that you are very nervous are obvious, especially the mouth. Also the microphone is a bit faulty so your excellent playing becomes blurred.

  • yo you didnt call?

  • Dificile n'est ce-pas? I love you madly. A little more delicacy is required.. but it is so hard to do..

  • So premier, soleil, merci beaucoup mon ami, mon regarde vous...

  • amazing, i like how ur hands move. you played beautifully. and ur cute too!

    good job.

it might not be terrible to play this piece but to understand and perfect it may take more then a week. (maybe months)

  • puré c'est trop dur comme morceau ! Bravo

    Bravo en tout cas !!!

  • This is actually my fav tune by Chopin! You play it beautifully well... Thank you for sharing!

    Love and Light,

    JD Aeon (Skyofquakertown)

  • want my number 7797498 call the kid

  • cheers on your part madam... may not be a perfect performance, but i felt the emotion, and that's the most important part of portraying a piece of music. you could be a drone and only play what's in front of you, or you can play with mistakes and still get your point across as long as you're putting in the emotion.

    cheers...

  • wow nice playing...nice body too

  • Und das noch auswendig !! Respekt !!

  • Yeah.... It would take me about 20 years to learn this.

  • Actually, my advice is, FREE YOUR MIND. Don't think it's impossible to play this. I haven't taken any exam and I learned piano only for 10 months, and after a week's practise I can now play this piece.

  • that was beautifully played, thanks

  • Excellent piece, I found free sheet music for it on SheetMusicFox DOT com and absolutely love it!

  • it's very hard to play that :((

  • watch?v=8MZqmnM4mpI

    Watch my Video

The flight of the bumble bee MAD VERSION- you won't regret- guaranteed

  • I love Chopin !!!

  • Just keep having fun .

  • Very good. MUCH better than mine fantasie impromptu video :( (check it out if you want :) (but it is not as good as your's)). .... 5/5 ;)

  • u r pretty good! dont worry about the wrong notes, they r accidents and i understand. but u need work on ur feelings, chopin is a very expressive composer, and use some rubato is u want. follow ur heart's desire and play music. :)

  • ......I still can't believe how little known the Taubman approach is.....I mean....It's like a magic bullet technique.EVERYONE SHOULD LEARN THE TAUBMAN APPROACH, or at least get the videos for reference. They just recently became available on dvd.

  • How and what does this Taubman thing teach you? It sounds interesting

  • chahahc: This is so true. I learned by playing Taubman technique also. It's the ONLY way to play. chahahc can tell you more. I've been to The Taubman Institute of Music in Amherst, and went to many of her Master classes when I lived in the U.S. She's an awesome lady!

  • Umm...yeah I study the taubman approach. I'm only 15 so I just got the videos, since I don't really have enough money or knowhow to go all the way to new york.(I live on the west coast). But someday i would love to go to the seminars....when i have enough money -_-(darn tempurpedic set me back 1.6 grand). I am injured and the videos seem to be helping tremendously. Although i doubt Edna's voice can get any more boring but w/e....tons of info...good for me. =)

  • Oh and try to sit higher, you can get better control. I see that your elbows are below the keys and that's not very good!

  • You got the notes. I think you might benefit from over exaggerating the dynamics and being careful with the slurs.

You can comment on my piano vids if you'd like. I love Chopin. I played his Ballade in G minor in my senior recital.

  • Great technician, but definitely not a musician..yet. She's young and she'll learn that later; i.e., dynamics, and feeling into romantic pieces.

    Nice going, kid.

    (^o^)

  • ok thanks guys for your help im improving in this piece now!!:)

  • Very Good!!! I like much of Chopin elso. You playin piano very well... You are where from?? How we can have communication??

    Please... it answers...

  • Very Good!!! I like much of Chopin elso. You playin piano very well... You are where from?? How we can have communication??

    Please... it answers...

  • C'est absolument superbe mais stp arrete de faire cette comédie quand tu joue !! it's so ridiculous !! happy smile !! please

  • really good....

  • she looks like shes in pain.... shes good though!

  • I forgot. That comment is for the guy who said he played chopin at 5.

  • A few things that will help greatly. #1 this may sound strange to some but don't tense your jaw bones. Let your mouth be slightly open. Tensing your jaw bones creates tension in the neck, shoulders and eventually everywhere. I found this in a Book called, "with your own two hands by Seymour Bernstein. I like what chahahc says about the Taubman approach. I recommended getting an adjustable piano bench so you can experiment with you sitting position. All the best to you!

  • You studied Taubman too? I just got back from her Master classes in NYC. I also went to The Taubman Institute in Amherst, MA. It's the ONLY way to play without getting injured.

  • YGYGYGYGYGYGYGYGYGYG,

Not yet but I am familiar with Taubman's ideas.

Another great source is Gyorgy Sandor's Book, On

playing piano. He studied with Bartok. Seymour Fink's

DVD on Mastering Piano playing is also great and Daniel Barenboim's DVD release of all 32 Beethoven piano sonatas with his master classes is outstanding work. Search you tube for Barenboim lang for a sample.

  • Okay, I will tomorrow, thank you.

Since you're so helpful, ^ ^ are there any good DVD's on when and how to perform rubatos?

    Thanks!

    ;)

  • YGYGYGYGYGYGYGYGYGYG,

The best DVD on this I know of is Daniel Barenboim's DVD 32 Beethoven piano sonatas live. In the master classes he speaks of how much time should be used in rubato playing. Be cautious of who you get rubato information from. I trust Maestro Barenboim. Also, watch Jorge Bolet master classes on you tube. Bolet is great teahcer!

  • What do you mean, play without getting injured?

  • I feel so exhausted trying to play this piece!! Can anybody help me please , When I try to play it hands together even in very slow time i get confused in counting!!! i mean to balance the left hand with the right hand if somebody can understand plz reply!!!

  • kanzaki83,

Try mastering one hand at a time. Playing slowly. Pay attention to your body. Make sure you have no tension. Feel you neck, shoulders, arms, wrist muscles. Make sure you are breathing properly. Have patience with yourself. Never become frustrated, it will only stop you from progressing. Watch professionals on you tube play this piece. Hope this helps you.

  • It's 4 against 3. You have to play the notes as follows once the treble begins: Play base C#; then play Treble G#; then base G#; then treble A; base C#; treble G#; Then treble double F# and base E are played TOGETHER; then play treble G#; then play base C#, etc.

Because there are more notes in the treble, you have to change hands, but start with the treble since there are more notes.

    Good luck!

  • Kanzaki83 - Read what LVB1770 said. Great advice.

    Also:

It's 4 against 3. You have to play the notes as follows once the treble begins: Play base C#; then play Treble G#; then base G#; then treble A; base C#; treble G#; Then treble double F# and base E are played TOGETHER; then play treble G#; then play base C#, etc.

    Good luck!

  • you need to curve your fingers for notes to come out clearer.. note the semiquaver rest at the begining of the right hand melody, the first g sharp of the right hand is NOT supposed to be simultaneous with the left hand c sharp. also, this piece needs to be tackled in crotchet beats, one by one, it'll help give you more technical stability.

  • why go for a video when you are making mistakes within first 10 notes... lol!

  • lololol

  • You seem like your in pain or something in this vid, I highly suggest the Taubman Approach. From my knowledge it seems to be the most complete, in depth technique out there. I have the 10 videotape series and I have nothing but praises for it. I suggest you take part in one of their yearly seminars or purchase the videos or better yet, both. The $800 is very much worth it because of the massive wealth of information in them. Best hopes for you.

  • Are you a lefty? It seems to me like the left hand is much easier for you than the right hand. The part in the right hand seems to be just a tad off.

Not that that's bad. Chopin WAS a lefty, after all. Nice job. :)

  • and maybe a limbo better too. lol.

  • hey, she plays a hell of a lot better than me. maybe a heaven AND a hell of a lor better. She is better than most, gotta admit. KEEP AT IT!!!!! (>^.^)>

  • guys shut the fuck up and leave maelle's playing alone. its really not that bad. i can barely play the first part of the impromptu and i think her is really great to listen to.

oh and can anybody plz tell me why i am not improving at piano ? i never had a teacher and i don't know any technique but i do practice 1-2 hrs a day on some day to get really good but my skillz ain't goin' nowhere.

  • You should get a teacher, it will help tremendously. And your skills aren't improving because you don't have the technique. It's like trying to play the Moonlight Mvt. 3, without having ever done an arpeggio before.

  • what is a arpeggio?

  • An arpeggio is where you play the notes of a chord one after the other. You just play the root triad though, no inversions.

  • Broken chords, or triads. Instead of playing all the notes of a chord all at once, you play each note separately.

  • gosh no 1 can recreate wat chopin has already done...i mean...some people do it very good...extremly well nd they deserve the applause such as zimmerman and horiwitz...they deserve it...but if u cant gte it right...nd u just cant hit them notes properly...dont do it at all girllly...u just get laughed at and made fun of

  • I notice you have no videos...

  • wow dat gewd teach me hunnie jp nice

  • i dont care about what any one thinks she did great

  • Oh geez leave her alone she is awesome. Playing Piano is really hard and yes she made a mistake. So what!? I love it girl. Keep going..you have potentiel there

  • Kill that girl? No. Chopin hate this piece. Chopin composed this piece when is 24 year old, never play after then.

  • Chopin comes alive and kill that girl for this terrible mistake at 00:20 >_<

  • It's a wrong note relax. She played well still.

  • Come on man. She´s learning it, she needs to improve her techinque a lot, but this comment is out of way

  • LOL seeing her warthog face match up with the huge ugly mistake she made at 00:20 made me laugh. Other than that, she did a pretty good job. I'm working on this piece right now too, I'm 12, but I haven't learned all of it.

  • be polite...i'd love to see your reaction when someone insults you, your face, and your whole family for just a single mistake...

  • I'm very sorry if I offended anybody on that comment. It was just a joke, and I thoroughly enjoyed her interpretation of this piece. The mistake she made was very noticable and I must say that her face did compliment it very well.

  • i don't see music here, sorry...

  • Take a breath, girl.

    It's really good anyway!

  • good

  • your pretty good though. just thought id add that.

  • good job. But the main theme must be played faster-that`s the message of the piece...

  • steiney1 - she is nowhere near as good as Yundi Li. This performance is lacking, mostly in technical accuracy. Sorry.

  • Nice job! you're a good piano player.

  • but she IS a brilliant piano player

  • Check out Wibi's brilliant self made Borsato transcription. It took him 3 month's to create this masterpiece, but it's simply awesome even if you don't know anything about Marco Borsato's music....

search for "Borsato Transcriptie" on youtube

  • Try to perfect your timing and remember it's not a speed contest. Put the soul into the music and you'll become a brilliant piano player, i'm sure!

P.s. Try to visit Wibi Soerjadi one day. He's fantastic. VVV>soerjadi>com ( replace the VVV for you know and > for . :D )

  • continued...

I wasn't touched as much as i am when Wibi Soerjadi plays this wonderful piece of brilliance. He somehow manages to find the golden ratio in his play which is the key to every succes in life. The golden ratio is found in everything in life and even in music.

  • This simply the best composition ever! It's breath's every aspect of life, atleast in my opinion.

Everytime i hear this piece of music, i'm touched, but somehow this play lacks something. I think it's the way it's played. A little too rushed and it lacks proper timing and also the rests are very very important in music.

  • good job, but make your notes clearer and work on your rythm.....nice job overall!

  • you are much better then yundi li your are much more exiting from him .

  • SUPERIOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
