The first part of the scene was filmed on a old roadway at Lake Garda, in the north of Italy, It's a very dangerous roadway, making the film two cars (including an Aston Martin) fell in the lake! I've driven on that roadway many times because I live near Garda lake. The second part of the scene wasn't filmed in a real roadway, it was filmed in the marble quarries of Carrara.

The 159's look pretty tough in the movie. It was highest time for a litle movie placement for the car. They are a trat for the eye, and very well suited for an italian chasing scene. Good choice from the makers of the movie.
