  • is that atco

  • @robotfight71 It's at West End QMRA in Gilbert PA

  • dude i go there

  • why are they driving only in such small circles?

  • skip to 1:12 for the actual flip.

  • so why not race karts instead of these?

  • Looks like a lot of fun i wonder how much money i would need to start racing these type of cars

  • @MrJustinheard ist like $2000 or more if you want a good one.

  • Oh I know Robbie too! Well at least he knows who I am haha. I'm Alex Reinsmith, he should know me

  • Ahh I remembered when I used to race there with my number 9 car american flag man those where the days

  • is that Glenn macomber in the number 2?

  • @BushCreekAmity Yeah that's him. He's not racing those anymore though. He's now racing a 270cc sprinter for somebody

  • @AlexR47x haha i know. i'm good friends with glenn because he's best friends with my boyfriend, Robbie Watson. he actually bought his own 270 a few months ago. i'm not sure if he's still running jim's 270

  • love being in last in this video

  • I wasnt there for this flip:/

  • psh simple flip lol

  • okay then, pathetic flip

  • pffft tiny flip

  • @iamjusttocool A flip is a flip

  • @AlexR47x - More like a roll

  • American quarter midgets are tiny, what engines do they run? New Zealand and Australian quarter midgets run either 125 2 stroke or 200 4 stroke engines and are a little bigger. we race larger tracks to, i rolled eight and a half times in one crash when i was 10. Still looks like a great class of racing to start with for young drivers though, good close racing.

  • @wytmaori The class in this video is the half class. So we are running anything from 5 Hp Briggs Motors all tuned up on alcohal, 160 4 stroke hondas all tuned up, or 200 cc hondas like the one i was running in the Broadway Car, Mine has 23 and a half horsepower. We had the wrong tires on for a dry track though in this video

  • @AlexR47x Halfs used to run 180 CC rotax engines tuned on methonal. I used to run them in 98'.

Hondas may of slowed the sport down, but it saved it in reality. No one can afford a $8K quarter midget engine. Hondas cost what $400-$1200 (from jr honda to the "new" half). I remember just having powerall to freshen a rotax half engine would cost over $2K.

But hiking the left front a third the way down the straight.... Priceless!

  • @2tallbrandon Yeah you said it man, hondas have been the reliable motor for a while. But now they wanna replace the hondas too. Ever since the world formula came in, they want to use that to replace the honda 160s and 120s. They would use the same concept as the jr hondas with all the restricter plates

  • yeahh Josh!!!! nice roll!!! I was so scared when that happened thoughh!!!

  • DO A BARELL ROLL!

  • i raced at that track im number 92 luke betancourt

  • glenn macomber kicked ass

  • nice roll Schaffer!!!
