  • So if youre that legit and hatsmi isnt .....explain the use of okinawan weapons like the sai that u guys use....THAT WAS NOT A NINJA WEAPON .....I OWN EVERY SINGLE BOOK ON NINJUTSU THERE IS INCLUDING THE NINPIDEN!!!! SHOW ME SOME PROOF!!! AND WHO DID YOU STUFY UNDER ANYWAY?

  • that website has nothing to do with ninja wtf?

  • I train Togakure. Anshu Christa Jacobson is authentic. Do you guys know what Ryuha she teaches? Also, does this guy accept new students?

  • She is controversial.

She said she learned from Nakashima Hayashi , the name is strange for Japanese.

Both Nakashima and Hayashi are surname.

The Ninjutsu scrolls she showed was pictures from Yahoo Japan Auction.

    watch?v=2moOWmOr6JY

  • @taylormoorefield

hate to break it to you... but christa jacobson is as legit as frank dux, ashida kim, and ron duncan... and that is to say only marginally worse than hatsumi and the takamatsu-den arts (atleast its japanese)

but nobody seems to understand that ninjutsu isn't a martial art... it never was, its just been refered to as one so much during the ninja craze that it caught on... now everyone wants to learn the "martial art of the ninja"... they were only samurai..

  • where in japan can we learn this?

  • Comment removed

  • bujinkan budo taijutsu is a classical form of jujutsu and does incorporate some ninpo techniques into it. i want to learn the real thing

  • When my high school's japanese club went to japan 3 years ago I begged my teacher to take us to Iga, but we ran out of time and had to go home........but we did get to see sekigahara, Mount fuji, a sumo fight and tokyo

  • the shuriken they used looked like one from the koga province area???

  • There is various shapes in the shuriken. But we know that there is no difference of shuriken between Igaryu and Kogaryu.

  • I don't believe Hatsumi Sensei is from Okinawa. He is from Chiba prefecture.

  • hatsumi is from okanawa

  • No he isn't, he is from Noda, Japan in the Chiba Prefecture. He set up the bujinkan as well in this area.

  • if you have proof of this then i will beleave

  • I don't remember Hatsumi sensei ever claiming to come from Iga province. As for knowing alot about Ninjutsu? All the signs point to yes!!! Try doing some more research guys. Just because Hatsumi sensei's style may differ from yours, doesn't mean it is not traditional or authentic ninpo teachings. He is considered by many worldwide, to be the leading authority on ninjutsu. This may or may not be correct, but surely it tells you something???

  • Iga is the ninja birthplace. Hatsumi is a person who studied martial arts thoroughly, and I also respect him. However, he is not from Iga and don't Know a lot of ninjutsu. ASHURA is a professional group that can only treat a genuine ninjutsu in Japan.

  • Iganinja2007:Thank you you are right

The Bujinkan style of Hatsumi is a mix of jujutsu with some ninja technique

is Not a real ninja style.Few years ago I was training in bujinkan but something tell me is NOT the real ninjutsu and find peoples talk about the a real master in Japan his name is Jinichi Kawakami and now I see this video and I know this is the REAL ninja.thank you

  • Yes he does train in Ninjutsu. He was personally trained by one of the last ACTIVE Ninja. His style may not be Iga, but that means nothing. There are many different styles. For instance, togakure-ryu (Hatsumi's style I believe), Koga-Ryu, and much more.

  • @iganinja 2007 just because u put on a hood and carry a sword that don't Make u a ninja.hatsumi knows alot of d ninja he is d sole heir of 9 schools of martial arts.from the looks of ur vid ur fiction actors at best, and r just jumping on d ninja boom bandwagon.

  • Bujinkan style of Hatsumi is not from Iga sect ninjutsu style as He said

I respect Him but He is NOT the last NINJA

What you see in this video is real ninja stuff

  • I WOULD CONSIDER HATSUMI SENSI

  • Is this sponsered by the ueno museum?

  • Yes. They cooperated completely in the location of this video.

  • Ashura is not a branch of Kurondo is it?

  • No,they aren't.

You know a lot about Iga Ninja!

  • Thank you but I really don't know that much. The only two reasons I know about Kurondo is because of the book by Hiromitsu Kuroi and my trip to the museum. By the way you seem very knowledgable... what is your opinion on Jinichi Kawakami? I am planning on studying with him and I know he has many links in the Iga sect.

  • Jinichi Kawakami is a scholarly man who specializes of ninja. Especially, it is mental powers. He is famous also. Are you interested in the ninja's study? If you want to get ninja action, you have to meet Kazuki Ukita of the Ashura. He is the best person of real ninja action.

  • I am interested in meeting him! He must be very knowledgible.

  • ちょっと失礼ですが、real ninja actionってどういう意味?忍者ショーと本当の武道を区別するようにしないとね

  • They are fake.

    It's just a tourist attraction.

  • Thank you. no problem!

  • not really. It introduces various "Ninjutsu" martial arts of Ninja.

  • is that a movie?
