No matter how nice I'd be, he plot various ways to catch me off guard. We had crowing matches and stared each other down. His name was Yankee Doodle. I'd catch him whenever he'd attack and he'd just sit in my arms and cluck. It sounded like he was cussing the way he clucked, though.

Different substances react differently in animals. And it's not just the polish itself, what about the fumes? Birds are so sensitive to so many chemicals it's insane. Call me what you want and be all defensive quite frankly I don't give a shit - But when a pet dies because of its owners' ignorance it's a terrible thing.

My rooster crows in the house too. He has kept me on time for work and the kids on time for school. Power failures don't affect him. Only problem - he crows on the weekends too when you don't need to get up early. Love the painted toenails and spurs. It never occurred to me to paint his nails but I might do it. He and his hen go out during the day. Mine's name is Roo.
