@talkingtree4 My fingernails have an acrylic overlay and underlay. Some fingernails are totally made of acrylic. Acrylic is a liquid and powder that when mixed they harden to protect the nails as in my case or to make nails as in other cases.

How do you grow your nails out so long? Mine tend to peel or break right as they start to get long! Do you have any tips?

@flyinghare14 I have an overlay and an underlay of acrylic on my fingernails. If I didn't they would never get this long.

@Lautners1Girl My fingernails have fans all over the world. People also don't think I can do anything with my fingernails so long. As you can see, I can do most anything. Putting staples in a stapler is hardly a weird thing to do. If you don't like my fingernails why do you keep coming back to watch my clips?

@Sleepyhead84 LOL, no. I am not a big OPI fan. I find they often need three coats for good coverage and when you are covering as much as I have to cover that is out of the question. That was a Pure Ice polish if I remember correctly. It's available a Walmart for about $2.50 a bottle.

Atta Girl!! Show these people of today that they CAN still do everyday stuff with very long nails.

BTW: Anybody remember what it was like in the 1970's and '80's when about half the females had at least 1/4" of nail showing past their fingetips? Then about 1990 it very suddenly stopped. These days God forbid you dare show the teeniest tiniest little bit of nail past your fingertips it's like you're not a woman any more you're now a freak.
