i have a question, for p90x i take mauy thai classes, which is thai kickboxing, training in this class i do alot of cardio and upper body workouts, would you recommend doing p90x on these days or taking a break, it is only twice a week, please get back to me as soon as you can
I'm a little confused. You always say that the amount of calories you eat are the most important thing to keep in mind and it doesn't matter where they come from. Therefore, 200 calories of chicken is the same as 200 calories of chocolate. Then, why does it matter if the calories come from fat, protein, or carbs?
@SpencerLedesma eating calories from a clean source mate reduces the amount of fats/sugars/artifical sweetners that you just dont need to grow. Not to mention healthy sources of food also contains things that you do need to grow which you wont be getting if you are getting all your calories from chocolate.

@ShyWallflower Hey mate If I were you I would aim for around 3500 calories a day from good sources of foods containing amounts of protein and carbs. Do not get your calories from saturated fat sources. Traditionally to bulk up you want to eat a shit load and lift heavy weights, however my friend is on P90X eating huge and following it to the T and he has gone from 68kg-75kg in about 8 weeks. Hope this helps.
@ShyWallflower it works but u need 2 take sum supplements like im skinny n im doing it im taking some protien powder, some bsn cell mass to get bigger, n sum no xplode to get more energy 4 ur workout.

@tomsquack yeah mate I bought the heart rate monitor and first 40ish days followed abripper x... for the last 45 it got too easy so I done the 'insane abs' from insanity instead.
dam man congrats. ive always been a little over wiehgt. if u saw me with a shirt on youd think i was very strong and built. but the little bit of stomach fat around my waist and chest has literally held me down for 7 years. no confidence and always extremely scared to take my shirt off. i started p90x and all that changed. i lost it and got back to the life i lived before 5th grade when i began to put it on. p90x was my guardian angel finally coming to my side and now my life is at its fullest
If you could let me know what you ate that would be great, also the routine for cardio/Legs/back. I'm not knowledgeable enough about those areas. Any tips for stomach would be great too.
This isn't really a 'transformation', from the look of it you were never that out of shape beforehand, just a little "skinny fat" from gaming and being sedentary, and by just cutting a little weight you revealed some abs and got some arm definition, good job I guess? @GoshujinOzzy I guess it depends on your diet, personally I go 3 times a week to the gym (I play football, well soccer, one day, but that's not important) and have a healthy diet, so that helps. The typical advice is to eat fruit, meat, etc, but just find a balance that suits you (It also depends on your age, I'm 15 here :P).
@pebrockk I am not sure mate, it probably wouldn't be good to get your heart rate up really high for long periods of time e.g cardio.. maybe eat perfect and lift really heavy weight like 6-8 reps and have a break between so you dont get puffed... im not a doctor so you should prob consult with one first before trying anything.. hope this helps :)
I have a minor asthma,meaning i won't pass out by running much or doing heavy efforts,i can only sprint for limited durations(some breathing problems) but i think u can do cycling(at the gym,i'm thinking of the medicine bycicle),stepper and light jogging
Also weightlifting does not have any impact on my breathing so you should be fine
@hirb753 Hey mate, I worked out for about 60-90 minutes a day.. monday I would do back + chest, tuesday I would do cardio, Wednesday I would do shoulders + arms, thursday I would do cardio, Friday I would do legs + back, saturday + sunday were intense cardio, a tip could be make sure you eat right :)

@hirb753 Hey mate, I worked out for about 60-90 minutes a day.. monday I would do back + chest, tuesday I would do cardio, Wednesday I would do shoulders + arms, thursday I would do cardio, Friday I would do legs + back, saturday + sunday were intense cardio, a tip could be make sure you eat right :)
