very cool video for an incredible band. most bands with real talent go unnoticed, but it's good to see the Decemberists get exposure. even if there are a lot of morons out there that don't understand them.

this is really well done, 100% original or not. I love how seriously Colbert fans are taking this green screen challenge, i'm sure Colbert and The Decemberists themselves are laughing at them all as well, The Decemberists actually had to explain to all the murderous fans baying for Colbert's blood, and vice versa that it is actually all a satirical joke!

Your video is awesomely well done!!! Although you didnt do what The Decemberists now want, which is to someway defeat Colbert with this Shakespearian literature inspired song.Personally, I find that kind of impossible to do. Unless you have Hamlet chucking a skull at him.
