As a history major, this book really gets under my skin. It should be called "48 lies the GOP has told you about American History that we still want you to believe"

@willdrake1 There's definitely historic revisionism but it's all from the Right. I have studied history, well, forever and read everyone's aspects and views from all sides and then read the actual documents written by people of the times they were living in. Sure, they revisioned or just didn't write what they didn't want people to know but gathering information from several sources leads you to a point where you can put a good picture together. GOP hates "facts" in history.

The question you need to ask yourself and others is, ' What would it take for you to change your mind?' If the answer is, 'Nothing could change my mind' or something close, you know you have a closed mind. Not a good place to be.

Everyone agrees the media lies, and textbooks are biased. However, does reading another biased book make it any better? Don't you see how flawed that is?

And BTW, if there were any kind of WOMD anywhere in Iraq, the Bush admin would have played that up to the fullest extent. Please tell me where those weapons were.
