I think the popular concensus was: Where do Power Rangers go when they give back their morphers? TKR! So, chins up, Chachis! This is another fuck up to add to the list.
One thing, though. "Hannah", the "2010" version of KITT,was a vehicle fitted with armor plating and it still had the semblance of a Trans Am. See for yourselves. Type: "The Action Pack theme song" on the search bar and you'll see a small glimpse of Hannah. Or, type: "Knight Rider 2010 Hannah" an you'll see her in action. As schlocky as that one was--it had a much better story than the current re-make.:-}
The Hoff has amnesia! 25 years is not correct! In fact, There was a 2 other K.R. related programs within the last 16 years.
One was a made for T.V. movie set 20 years into the future from the original show, which brought back Hasselhoff, killed off Devin, and KITT gets an overhaul in the end as a red sports car for a chick.
The other, is by Universal's "Action Pack"--the people behind the Hercules and Xena franchises. It was "Knight Rider 2010" a total remake. But, it had the Trans Am.:-/
I could see it going on as long or longer than the original series, but they just didnt make it an "episode" that was the thing. That was the most disappointing. They just didnt have the "connection" between Mike and KITT. Just seemed like a movie with some ppl and a talking car. Wasn't Knight Rider
The only thing that pissed me off was that they showed the ending and stuff cuz it was bad ass how he came out the back of a PLANE! then it just ends. Didnt like that at all. I really hope they do make it a TV show again.
Overall, I'm glad KITT has a new look and new gadgets (A car jumping is sooooo 1980s!). If the movie was an exact replica of the 80s tv show, it would be boring. The new 'Mike' is a smartass and has some wicked fighting skills. My only disappointment was Mike and the girl spent too many scenes just riding around in KITT. They spent half the movie driving to get to the girl's father. Better editing was needed.

Some parts I liked a lot, but overall the film wasn't what I was expecting. I know it would be weird without Kitt, but for all his fans they turned him into an emotionless version of the original. If they make a show I will definitely watch it in hopes of being better than the movie and that it has a lot of potential, I think if you liked the old show the movie is worth seeing once, if only for the cute mini show during the commercials

I agree! I just watched the show and it sucked bad. The bad guys killed the lead actors mom and he didn't shed a tear. Who wrote the script? I would have gone down in a blaze of glory to protect my mom. Anyone would have burned them alive and made sure they lived so they could torture them for a few more years.
Also...enough with the Ford adds. Guess what Ford, gasoline is f$%%ing up the planet. Enough with the brain washing.

I wanna know what idiot picked the mustang? for KITT it doesn't even look cool for that role. Even though KITT was an 82 Trans-Am, it would STILL be cooler than that funky car, not even the guy who created Knight Rider wanted in on this new show! (probably cause of the car!) I read rumors that the creator wants to do his own version, and I HOPE TO GOD HE DOES! The Hoff is the only cool part! But this show will probably be canceled 1/2 way through the pilot! it's a shame to but thank God for DVD!

You know I'm not a big fan of the Cobra portraying KITT, but it does look sweet. The show on the other hand has some REALLY big shoes to fill! (even though a new Charger has a very aggressive look to it)

NO MATTER WHAT THE ORIGINAL 80'S KNIGHT RIDER WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER THIS WAS DONE BECAUSE OF THE WRITERS STRIKE & NBC NEEDS RATINGS THE CAR ITSELF DOESNT LOOK BAD AT ALL. HOWEVER IT DOESN'T COME CLOSE TO FITTING THE KNIGHT RIDER THEME The Original KITT was darker, more mysterious. The newer KITT is all *bling bling* Nice rims, headlights TO ME, THATS NOT KNIGHT RIDER

I am sorry but this show is a major let down. KITT was a Pontiac, what the hell is a Mustang doing in the mix?? GM might have killed off the Firebird, but this is like making the remake of GoneIn 60 Seconds and making Elanor a Camaro. Its just wrong!!!
