@klepetar, this is motor racing and not golf. they are racers. every time the drivers went out there, there is a chance of accident happen to anyone, even during test/practice/qualifying....Dan Wheldon, Simoncelli, Senna, Ratzenberger, de Angelis, Villeneuve. unless you expect them to just follow the pole leader, stay in procession, don't go faster, don't try to overtake and don't try to win.
Traitor car... I ain't never trusted not even a bit on Williams or Lotus, even now days I don't...since the day I saw Tamburello turn for the first time, I had a bad feeling, which unfortly was comproved a few time later...
Berger crashed in Tamburello with his Ferrari in 1989. Barrichello had a serious crash there in qualifying in 1994, and he was just lucky he wasn't seriously injured.
Patrese crashed in Tamburello in 1992, and Alboreto in 1991.
Lotus made Formula 1 what it is today, the most advanced motorsport, and a lot of things we see today were pioneered by Lotus.Monocoques, engines as a stressed member of the chassis, low-weight design, wedge shape aerodynamics, sidemounted radiators, etc
Listen up. There's never been ONE driver who hasn't made mistaken when pushing it. Some drivers make lesser mistakes than others, but they ALL make them. Senna's spin in Monaco 1988 was nobody's fault but his own and he admitted it.
Senna crashed twiced in this corner (courbe des signes) in 1985 and 1986. Once was due to his engine, the second was a "mistake" when he ran on oil that wasn't showed by a flag (1986). It would be interesting to have the missing videos. To be honnest, I don't watch the so called "F1" today, or very little.I have more pleasure watching the old GP and qualifying when I can get them.Especially qualifying at that time. wow !!!
Nope it was definitely 1985 as this was the only year the F1 review videos was narrated by the drivers themselves. Piquet narrated this race because he won it in his Brabham.
I never knew that - if sponsors actually demand boring slow circuits just so there fucking adverts can be seen for longer, then the prostitution of the sport is complete - it has degenerated into a farce - the sport is dead.
lots of people looking at,most of them abs. unaware of what even a steering wheel is.
Dull comments because specialistic comments cannot be undestood by those crowds of F1 fans which watch a grand prix the same way they'll be watching a sit comedy in the evening may be wearing lots of Schumy's caps sold at € 30,00= Can't stand it ! Greetings.

That was the Grand Prix of France in Le Castellet in 1986 not 1985. I know this because I was there in this corner were Senna crashed.
heuerautavia 3 years ago
He crashed there both in 1985 and in 1986.
midgrid 3 years ago 3
He would have died if he crashed there sideways or head first.

Yeah but those real bad fences which helped for nothing

you're right, they caused more injuries than prevented!

Signes corner - ah the glory days - they have ruined the great circuits and corners now - gone forever. A crying shame!
mallamoozoo 4 years ago 9
Yes,but after a 1,2 miles straight a F1 3000
could have been clocked at 230 mph,so getting into Signes turn at 200 mph apprx....!
The safe way outside should be 6 times wider,
to avoid fatal impacts =More than this,I heard F 1 business requires slow tracks so as to have longer camera shots on sponsored flaps and bodyshells =

P.S. -great F 3000 hill climb -I saved it too-
one of the french drivers you can see on YT recently smashed his F3000 being seriuosly injured but still alive thx to God.
That's really too daring,as no safe ways are there. The rocks on the inside, the trees or flyng downhill if going off outside=
