  • @TheBeatlesfan1964 I don't know I'm okay with it now, I didn't think he should do beatles songs with anybody, but the beatles, but now I've gotten over it.

  • 27 people missed the like button

  • This song really makes me going crazy!!!! I love this song!!

  • Such an amazing version!

    Simply rocks!!!!

  • he's just getting better with age. shame on Heather for what she did to him. no, he wasn't my "favourite" Beatle-he was a very close second to George. I'm a spiritual person, too, and even thought I didn't know it, George always had a profound effect on me. RIP George, and John. 2 lights the World really couldn't afford to lose. Freddiie Mercury was another.

  • Marijuana loves you too Paul!!!

  • the best ever

  • yeaah ! Paul's on the drums really! whatt'a:?

  • I love to see and hear the live horns. Paul like most bands on the road these days uses the keyboards instead now. way cool.

  • i think paul only looks great with a hofner bass or Rickenbacker no other bass but he still looks AWESOME!!!! =D

  • paul mcartney said this song is about weed. They were stoned off their asses when they wrote this

  • Que músicos de puta madre, dios mío.

  • too much ..... white ... ruined the song

  • @Fantadibou what????????????

  • @109apples I meant this song played by " white peoples " sux :( I Like Paul McCartney but he made a pop version .. Where are " black vibrations " in this version ? :'( ( im white ^^)

  • Jesus is here, and he's in that video singing

  • MACCA ROCKS like he ha's done since the late 50'es.... and still do it's amazing...

The greatest Pop/rock artist, songwriter, singer is Paul McCartney and NOT John Lennon......

  • i like the beatles version

  • PAUL MAKES LIFE BETTER

  • Too bad Paul broke up The Beatles.

  • @ureadmymind You're kidding me, right? If anything, Paul held them together until John quit. Paul only legally broke them up after he realized John wasn't coming back, and it's a good thing Paul did that because if he didn't Allen Klein might of milked The Beatles of all their money.Like Magical Mystery Tour? Thank Paul. Like The White Album? Thank Paul. Like Let It Be? Thank Paul. Like Abbey Road? Thank Paul.

  • @beatlesfan9091 Amen to that. If you read accounts of why there was any conflict about Paul breaking up the Beatles was John being that he wasn't the one to announce it first. John felt like the Beatles was his and that he was leader to break them up when that time came. Personally, I think John was being selfish and a clean break was certainly needed.

  • @beaustep19 Agreed. I don't mind that they broke up, because all of their solo work is incredible, it's just how they broke up is what sucks.

  • @beatlesfan9091 Part of the problem too was the amount of time they were together in that studio. They put out an incredible canon of music that I am sure took a toll on each one of them physically, mentally, and emotionally. Hard stuff. It seems that in the end it was a relief for all of them to 'let it be' and just 'break free.'

  • @beaustep19 Again, agreed. I think if they had gone back out on the road, like Paul suggested, they could've fixed their emotional wounds. Beatlemania wasn't nearly as extreme, and other bands were coming in, so the touring wouldn't be as intense.

  • Paul McCartney is the shit. Best musician ever.

  • I just love his voice..very blessed!!

  • orale!!!!q chingon. nunca habia visto a wings tocando esta rola beatle de rervolver. creo q es la q mas m gusta d ese disco.OSOM!!!!!

  • Whatever happened to people like him that could actually sing? Now all we have are autotuned idiots like Justin Bieber and Ke$ha who can't sing to save their lives.

  • paul es la musica

  • paul is the best

  • The drummer is original Wings drummer Joe English.

  • The drummer does look a little like Paul. Love this song. Hope I can see Paul McCartney live soon.

  • This is real Music! Artists like Justin Bitcher, Tokio Faggotel and Jesse McCartney have nothing on this, Bon Jovi, Judas Priest, ZZ Top, Joe Cocker, Jose Carreras, Deep Purple, Queen, Iron Maiden and another great Golden bands!

  • only if john hadn't married yoko or died and george hadn't died they couldve had a renunion

  • Pauls grandad is a very clean man.

  • lol, good movie

  • @winterlandboy haha i LOVE that movie

  • @winterlandboy lol--I see you've watched the Beatles movies..which I agree are funny and awesome! my favorite Beatles Movie quote is "British you see, useless"

  • @winterlandboy hahahhahaa i remember that from Hard Day's Night!

  • Ram had a lot of great tracks on it, and that was just a couple years after the Beatles break up

  • What a gorgeous piece of writing! It's rock, it's big band, it pulls you helplessly along with it. Macca rules.

  • Mcartneys voice sounding good here

  • I've always been more of a Lennon fan, but I think Paul was equally as important for the Beatles

  • Right, though lennon was more stupid, his mistake was to love so much a woman. Many greatest men have made the same mistake.

  • @ramejkisp of course he was it was 50 50 my friend go through the beatles songs basically who sang them wrote them as a rule, it was even between them i think paul slightly ahead

  • 2:35 nice trumpeting!

  • looks aren't everything. Paul's still performing at age 66 and rocking a nd writing more than most old guys could say.

  • Ahhhh... A Magical Time.

  • Speaking of solo acts, Ringos current band is trash

  • holy shit mccartney in a thong!!!!!!!

    watch?v=tkD4e4JqflQ

  • The 2 guys in the middle of the people playing the horns look a bit like the guys from ABBA :P

  • paul still looked like beatle paul here..meanwhile across the atlantic john lennon looked like a 60 year old man...dumb fuck dumped he beatles and he paid the price...lennon must have been bi-polar..hiding in his shitty manhatan apartment..not working...would drive any crazy...

  • buddy know you history Paul left the Beatles witch triggered the self destruct but both john and paul found the love they were looking for and have you listened to John Lennon's double vision album or John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band both terrific album

  • 'Plastic Ono Band' is my fav.Lennon solo effort-the compositions are really brutally honest and very well written.

  • John was the smart one. He never released anything as shitty as Macca's 80's material. "Spies Like Us"? "My Brave Face"? Fuck! Shit songs man.

  • @Zebonka tHE 80'S SONGS OF JOHN WERE MUCH BETTER... OH, WAIT A MOMENT... HE WAS DEATH!

  • As I said - he was the smart one

  • @Zebonka I kinda agree, except you named some good songs, you shold have referenced song like Tug of Peace and Old Siam, sir. I think Paul and John had about the same amount of good songs by the 80's, but Paul Had way more bad songs :(

  • @StraightTwoDVD They all agreed to break up the Beatles, but Paul announced it first.

  • do some reading son...in early 1970 paul, george and ringo were calling each other to see if they would get back together again...they would have..but john was off on his love cloud with yoko...

john broke that group up end of story...and he relished in the fact that he did..it felt good to him gave him a sense of empowerment...

his parents had dumped him as a kid..so as an adult it felt good to be the one dumping the loved ones...

in retrospect..it was a huge mistake especially for john

  • @ StraightTwoDVD SAD

  • @StraightTwoDVD your partially right except for the fact that john was going to get them back together but he was assassinated first, he said it in a interview not in those exact words but if you read between the line syou could have understood that.

  • @StraightTwoDVD yes your right

  • @StraightTwoDVD You are an idiot. You really think it was Johns fault the beatles broke up? by sgt. Peppers the beatles were broken up, by then they were writing their own style. In fact, Lennon was the last to release a solo album. George had a huge amount of material he wanted to get out, Paul was off with Linda, and Ringo already quit the band (during the White Album).

By the way, John worked with both George and Ringo on his and their own solo albums, If anyone was alone it was paul.

  • @BeatleFloydZeppelin

YOU ARE a limp noodle...in the bedroom

  • @BeatleFloydZeppelin he was the second to release a solo album he released two virgins while he was still with the beatles..he was te last to put out an album post-beatles

  • @shway05 That was with Yoko I meant by himself. And you can hardly call that a studio album.

  • @BeatleFloydZeppelin Do you consider plastic ono band or double fantasy a lennon album..because both had yoko featured in quite a few songs. bottom line lennon was done with the beatles during the white album sessions and paul was the only one really keeping the group together. the fact that abbey road was made at all is a miracle.

  • @shway05 Also John put more songs onto the white album than Paul, sure paul was the driving force on abby road (one of my favorites) but to say thatone person was responsible for any beatles album is just ignorant.

  • @BeatleFloydZeppelin Right, without Ringo the whole thing would have fallen to shambles.... ;)

  • @shway05 actually, Johns first studio album was John Lennon/Plastic ono band, which had no yoko songs on it. You could be thinking of the Yoko album, Yoko Ono/Plastic ono band, which was released at the same time, but only had yoko songs. Two seperate albums. Double Fantasy was not a Lennon studio album, but a studio album released by both Yoko and John (just take a look at the front cover it says both Yoko Ono and John Lennon on it).

  • I've read every book there is and seen every documentary and I used to live on Penny Lane (not that it matters!). It's obvious to see they were finished when you watch Let It Be. Paul was taking over but they all agreed to make one last album (Abbey Road) Paul wanted to keep them together, but John and George didn't. George even says so in the Anthology. Then Paul came out and announced the breakup At the same time his solo album was due out.

  • @ramejkisp that right paul was first to leave public but john was first to leave privatly

  • @StraightTwoDVD

@StraightTwoDVD .................John was not 'hiding or not working'....he was raising his 2nd son and took a break from being in the public eye.............as he stated he would not make the same error twice, that of not being there for his first son.

not sure where you get a conclusion like this :

"dumb fuck dumped he beatles and he paid the price...lennon must have been bi-polar..hiding in his shitty manhatan apartment..not working...would drive any crazy... "

  • Dziękuję Ci, Paul, że się urodziłeś. Geniusz! ^^

  • Wow, I'm suprised, just wow, wonderful!

  • why are you suprised? paul mccartney is/was and will forever be the most talented musician and long after the sad day when he passes will be rememberd not only as a beatle but for his solo work as well.

  • I'm ashamed . With Wings really

  • Paul McCartney fucking rocks..............HE IS the history of music.

  • Well said. Whenever people say "He sucks" I look at them like they have 3 heads. This man, his music, solo or with the that "Bug Group" will live ... FOREVER!!!

  • @sausagedogheaven FNA! ditto!

  • the beggining sounds like a cartoon intro

  • this is a cool video...but no matter how many clips i see of paul he just never looks right without the beatles

  • true

  • he sounded better 37 yearrs ago on this song with orrignal band the beatles <ftw

  • I love that drummer.

  • is it me or does the drummer look exactly like mccartney? i thought he was on drums for a second there

  • me too!

  • @lollibby its that dodgey mullet!!

  • He can't play drums, he's bassist. XDDDDD. I thought the same, I wsear you. ;)

  • @alberzeta he plays drums. he played on back in the ussr

  • @butmeemec I know I know! I'm just only joking :), Paul can play several instruments, and he sometimes played drums, in McCartney album, his first solo album for example, he played all the instruments. He is a genius but I like specially his bass and piano playing. And of course his talented voice, that's really awesome!

  • @butmeemec And in the Ballad of John and Yoko :)

  • @butmeemec Paul does know how to drum--he did so when Ringo quit for a week becuase of the fighting..hoever this is Paul's band Wings, the drummer is Joe English, not Paul (who plays bass)

  • @lollibby it wasn't paul, just has a similar hairdo, although Paul does play drums on some of his solo albums

  • @lollibby Heck i thought he was playing the sax.

  • @lollibby that's steve holley, wings last drummer

  • @lollibby Men... Me too!!

  • @lollibby

    yes i saw it too

  • @lollibby I agree- they look similar--although Paul McCartney does play drums sometimes--just not live in concert

  • @QueenBeatlesWings He played drums on a few songs: "Back In The USSR, "Dear Prudence" when Starr briefly left. And on "The Ballad Of John & Yoko" when Starr & Harrison were both too busy to record.

  • This drummer sounds better to me than his current drummer...im not a big fan of the new guy

  • Steve Holley I think.

  • looks like paul a little bit

  • who is on drums

  • paul on drums and paul on bass?

  • haha you stupid fuckhead

  • awsome song

  • Paul's vocal cords sound a bit 'shot' in this - maybe he was a bit tired?

  • He had just come off a short tour of England and was heading form Japan after this. Of course he got busted for marijuana possession and this was the last we ever saw of Wings.

  • Like all jobs done on a regular basis, not every day can be realistically expected to be the same as a previous peak. Live is about the glorious rust and all. Otherwise play the record.

He's technically flat and raspy on some of the highs, but who cares, such is a live performance.

  • 0:27

    I love this bass line!

    Great!

  • i like this better than the version on revolver

  • Come on, I don't know who the retard is who is spamming my comments, but...

The Beatles were one of the best groups in the world, but the undeniable fact is THEY USED EVERY DRUG GOING.

    Including 'pot'.

  • Yeah, and they were really open about it, just watch George Harisson on the Dick Cavet show.

  • they said rubber soul was pot album revolver was acid

  • you dont smoke heroin you inject it come on are you like 6 years old?

  • I AM NOT SIX YEARS OLD!

It's only the hardcore users who need to get the most out of it will inject it; heroin is usually first smoked in joints, then the next stage up it's smoked on tin foil where it melts and rolls down the foil and you smoke it through a tinfoil tube.(chasing the dragon) Some people even prefer snorting it in lines. If you STILL dont believe me try Wikipedia. The song 'Golden Brown' by The Stranglers (very popular song) is also about using heroin.

  • I dont know why your getting all the down thumbs. Your 100% correct. Pot is the least of it lol

  • u can snort it.

  • Heroin is refined Opium.

It is definitely smokable. Try it in your opium pipe. You might have to add a little weed to get it going.

  • One of the alltime great Human Beings right there:)

  • This song predates Blood Sweat and Tears (Revolver) but in one sense, it is the best BST style song ever. The Beatles were chameleons. The section in Back in the USSR paying homage to the Beach Boys sounds better than the Beach Boys.

  • this is concert for kampuchea... 1979

  • when was this?

  • 1973

  • haha yeah, like stan4 said, song about pot. Good song any way its looked at.

  • that's one of his best vocals.... I am a huge fan of his... but for example, Get Back and Maybe I'm amazed are not examples of his best vocals on their respective albums... he sings them great live, but their album versions are not that good.... as much as I love this guy

  • wow, i love this song.

  • Paul still gots it!!!!!!!!GO PAUL!!!!!!!

  • This was the last incarnation of Wings, which was the worst.

  • It was the best IMO! Kampuchea and Glasgow gigs are top class.

  • The lyric of one song can be interpretade in many ways, no matter what the original point of it. If you want to find a song about weed, you will find it, if you want to find a song about someone special, you will find it. So stop this stupid discussion

  • From Many Years from Now' (New York, Henry Holt and Company, 1997) by Paul :

"Got to Get You Into My Life" was one I wrote when I had first been introduced to pot... It didn't seem to have too many side effects like alcohol or some of the other stuff, like pills, which I pretty much kept off. I kind of liked marijuana...So "Got to get You Into My Life" is really a song about that, it's not to a person, it's actually about pot."

  • In The Beatles Biography written in the early 70's the author said this song was about their 1st LSD trip. Listen to the very 1st line. This was also written and recorded at the time they started experimenting. But, I will check out 'Many Years From Now'. I'm not doubting you. He has said that fans know The Beatles history better than him.

  • You jerks The fuckin song its awesome its veryyy stupid your discussion

  • Not idoits, glsingle, people are just quoting what McCartney himself said about this song, that he was writing about marijuana.

  • I will never understand you idiots that have to relate every Beatles song with dope.....maybe you are the dopes!!

  • Yea paul himself said it was about weed, so maybe you're the idiot.

  • No....I'm not the idiot....You personally interviewed Paul McCartney?.....please post the interview on YouTube so we can all see it.....like I said before, I'll never understand you idiots that have to relate every Beatles song with dope......

I think you and jtdavis62 are living in your own cloud of smoke.......

  • You are just proving my point.

I don't need to personally interview someone to know that they have said something, I can just go and look it up.

Paul said it was about dope in a biography about him, named "Paul McCartney: Many Years from Now".

Sorry, but I don't think I can upload books to youtube, so if you really care you can go and buy the book and read it yourself.

However, I don't give a shit what you think :)

  • What you wrote is true, but makes no difference to people who enjoy his (and Beatles) music. Live and let live, or die.

  • well, you could upload a picture of the page, put it in a video file and post in on YouTube

  • got to get weed into my life ?

  • I ♥ PAUL MCCARTNEY!!!

  • Earth Wind and Fires rendition of this song rips it to shreds....paul himself said its the best beatles cover ever done.

  • oh you guys get so smart reading wiki, we all knew that when he sang it way back, :<} we just chose to join him at that time. you had to have been there.

  • From wiki - Although many believed it was a love song that Paul was writing for a girl, he later disclosed the song was about marijuana in Barry Miles' book Paul McCartney: Many Years from Now. Many lyrics from the song suggested this: "I took a ride I didn't know what I would find there / Another road where maybe I could see some other kind of mind there.",'"What can I do, what can I be when I'm with you I want to stay there / If I am true I will never leave and if I do I know the way there."

  • paul is great here, but the drummer?terrible. they need joe english from the Speed of Sound days

  • Paul will always have my heart. What a phenomenal man.

  • God, where did music like this go?!

I hate to sound cliche, but they dont make 'em like this anymore! Thank you for posting this!

  • No cliche mate, it's a fact :)

  • Paul thank you for this music =)

  • So good! Can I buy this somewhere?

  • great drummer

  • this is great!! is it just me, or did paul sound better LIVE in wings than in the beatles?

  • lol! This is a great performance, I could see how you could like it better, but I prefer the Revolver version. But wow, they are both so good!

  • no, i like the revolver version better

  • :48 - : 50

    LOLOLOLOLOL

  • I love his voice that way!

  • i love beatles!!!!!

  • really ... my own was a joke because I prefer the Beatles!

  • the song is by the beatles

  • your right. its not the beatles... but it is Paul Mccarteney. he is preforming with the band Wings. So its not the beatles, but it is the Paul we love!

  • No, but it's Paul McCartney, and he was the beatle who wrote and sang this song for the beatles. So it's still very very good.

  • don't worry I love it too

  • lol u know this song is about pot right?

  • pretty sure its lsd, i might be wrong though. but yeah drugs.

    <
